A warning first, I screwed up and this is probably the worst day I went through. I hope you all can forgive me because I can't forgive myself.

Well, no point in procrastinating it further. I'll just say it.

Sometimes, I want to punch myself in the face because sometimes I didn't need someone from above to create misfortune for me. I am fully capable of making up a surprise for myself. And the worst part? Right when I think it's finally over, then someone from above notices my painful existence and chucks another one for me right in the face. This day is a perfect example.

I forgot my whole bag of swimming equipment on the train. There. Full stop. End post. Now I can finally go to bed, feel sorry about myself and wallow in misery and despair for the 30 minutes before sleep.

...Just kidding, I still need to finish this journal for today.

So yeah, I was not in a hurry, there was nothing on my mind, I have no excuse for what I've done. I have to rush back to the MRT station, find my bag, retrieve my bag, rush back to the swimming pool, and hopefully not be too late. Even the head coach let me off for this time, seeing that I was full-on panicking about all my equipment, but I didn't. I want to beat up myself in the past for making me suffer and miss out on the first lesson. The train even stopped for an extra two minutes at a station, and that never happened before. I'm not writing down how late I am when I finally arrived because I don't think I need this journal for it to stay etched in my mind forever. That's for me to know only and for you to never find out.

We learned basic lifesaving equipment usage and facts – again, I completely missed out on the lecture. I revised rope throwing, swam a routine, and the course for today was dismissed after the usual gathering and announcement. I didn't get to learn anything. I slowly made my way back home, sulking and having a bad day in general. Then a thundershower came, and I didn't bring anything for it. Needless to say, I was instantly soaked and even more miserable than I originally thought can be possible.

...I just want this day to end along with all my misery.
