Carina's POV

"Babe?", Niall says and I'm back to reality.

I turn around to look at him and he smiles.

It's been almost six months since we've been living together.

We've been together for a year now, and I love every moment with Niall.

He brings out the best in me and I try to be good enough for him.

The past days with him have been the best of my life. He's fixed the broken me and I can never be grateful enough.

"Baby girl's zoning out for the umpteenth time ever since we're in our gallery", he said and I smiled to hide my embarrassment.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and snuggled closer towards him as we sat on the floor with our backs touching the wall.

"Everything's just been great with you. I'm so lucky to have you", he said and I smiled.

It is so lovely to be loved by the one you love.

Indeed, it is.

"You have no idea how lucky I am to have you", I said and he just laughed.

"No baby, I'm lucky to have you. After everything's that happened, you still chose me and have stood by my side", he said and I turned to look at him.

"Of course, Ni. I would always choose you. You're the one my heart belongs to", I said and saw his gorgeous smile.

"Whatever, but I'm luckier because I have you", he continued and I rolled my eyes playfully.

"And?", I said and he smiled.

"And, I'm so grateful that we don't really fight a lot like other couples", he said proudly and I couldn't control my giggles.

"And?", I asked.

"And, I'm just so much in love with you, my princess", he said as he looked into my eyes.

"And?", I continued, staring back into his beautiful blue eyes.

"And I don't know what my life would be without you", he said with sudden saddens and I felt my heart pain.

"That would never happen", I said as I touched his face with my hands.

"Good, because I'd be half a heart without you", he said before pulling me into a kiss as we lost track of everything.
