Carina's POV

ONE WEEK LATER.

New Year has pretty amazing, although it's just been a week.

My cafe is doing really really well and I'm just so glad.

My staff manage most of the most around and I just need to watch over them and act lazy all day.

Niall's almost recovered. His ribs are doing almost fine and I'm grateful for that.

Mike's just here, walking in and out of my cafe whenever he feels like talking to me and I think that's pretty okay.

Well, he apologised to Niall and Niall thanked him for saving his life. So, we were on pretty good terms now and that was it.

Everything's falling into place perfectly and this is just one of those days where you think about your life and feel so blessed.

"Carina?", a voice said and I was snapped back to reality.

It was Julie's.

I was busy zoning out in my cafe, of course.

"Yeah? Is everything okay?", I asked and a very nervous Julie nodded her head 'no'.

"Come on", she said and I followed her out of the storeroom and was soon behind the main counter.

I was met with a very nervous Caleb and a very angry lady customer.

"Where's your damn manger or whoever the hell is incharge it this cafe?", the angry lady snapped and everyone in the cafe turned to look at us.

"Uh, yeah, that's me. What's wrong? How can I help-", I was interrupted.

"Oh shut up, your staff over here are shitty people. This asshole just keeps staring at me instead of taking down my order and doesn't even pay attention to whatever the fuck I've said", she yelled and people kept staring.

I mean, how the fuck can you accuse my staff of doing something like this? And not Caleb above all.

"Excuse me, I think you're clearly mistaken because he wouldn't do that", I defended Caleb and he smiled once the words left my mouth.

"Oh shut up and don't cover up for him. Ask him what I ordered for and then you'll know how zoned out he was", she glared and pointed a perfectly manicured finger at me.

I looked at the order the Caleb had punched in the system;
1 Caramel latte + 2 shots of brown sugar
1 Hot Cocoa + Chocolate chips
2 Ice Tea + with lemon flavourings.

I internally cringed at her taste buds or whoever she was taking it for.

I read her order loud enough for her to hear and she furiously nodded 'no'.

"No, I asked for Caramel latte with chocolate chips and Hot Cocoa with two shots of brown sugar", she said and crossed her arms across her chest.

"But Carina, she initially said she what she just said, then she told me to go vice versa, then she asked me to change it to different toppings and now she's saying the initial thing again", Caleb spoke nervously and I could sense the honesty in his eyes.

We had to deal with customers like this occasionally and boy, it wasn't easy.

"Oh yes, I say whatever the fuck I want. You just need to listen to me and not fuck things up", she yelled and I lost my cool.

"Well first of all, mind your language lady. We're sorry although I don't think it's our mistake. If you think you can shut your mouth and wait until we fix your order then it will be really good. If not you can get the hell outta here", I almost yelled and the crowd turned back to look at me.

"Sorry", I mumbled as I looked over at the crowd in my cafe and they got back to their respective doings, again. 

"You have no right to talk to me like this. Ever heard of consumer's courts and stuff? I'm going to ruin you'll", she said and I swear she looked like an angry bull.

"Well, I don't care because I think I've got plenty of witnesses who've witnessed that you were the one who was yelling at first", I said as I motioned to the people around us and her eyes widened.

"Also, surveillance cameras", I said and pointed to the one above Caleb's head and she gulped.

"Whatever, just fix my order and don't fuck it up again", she said and I rolled my eyes.

I punched in her order after I read it twice to her and she nodded with her clumsy dry face.

My staff looked pretty shook and I mumbled a small, "Get back to work", before they got back to their work.

Katie and I prepared her orders and I had to abstain myself from flinging it on her face.

"Here you go ma'am, hope you have a good evening", I smiled as I handed her orders over to her and she scowled and walked out.

"See you never again", I mumbled and Caleb nervously laughed.

"Thanks, Carina. And I'm really very sorry", he said as he hung his head low.

"That's alright, Caleb. She was acting like a total bitch and I know you wouldn't do anything like that on purpose. I know how dedicated you are towards this cafe", I said and he looked up at me and smiled. 

He nodded his head enthusiastically and his smiled grew even more, "Thanks for believing in me, Carina".

"Now if your pep talk is done, I would like to take the credit of being the best employee", Noah said and I rolled my eyes as we laughed at him.

My phone buzzed in my back pocket and I smiled when I saw an incoming call from 'Ni❤️'.

"Hey babe", I said answered the call and walked back into the storeroom.

"Hey princess!", he exclaimed and I smiled.

"Wow, someone's so chirpy today", I said and he laughed.

"Well, if my girl isn't chirpy I'm the one trying to be chirpy", he said and I laughed.

"Uh, yeah sorry about that", I said and sighed.

"Is everything alright?", he asked, his voice filled with concern.

"Yeah, just had a bad time. A stupid customer created a scene and was yelling all over the place", I said as I massaged my forehead with my left hand.

"Aww, come home princess. I'm back", he said and I smiled.

"Alright, I'll be there", I said and hung up.

.

"Ugh, I don't even want you to go back home", Niall groaned and I laughed.

We were lazily sprawled on his bed after stuffing our faces with Chinese takeaway which was just so delicious.

"I can't even move, I've eaten just too much", I said and he laughed.

"Yeah, I feel like a whale right now", he laughed and I joined him too.

I looked at his beautiful blue eyes and smiled, "My blue whale".

"Goodness, no", he facepalmed and I laughed.

"Carina, please stay the night. It's been ages since we've slept together", he whined and I looked at him.

Yeah, it's been a month since we.....

Oh shit he didn't mean that, he meant a week since we've slept in each other arms.

Shit.

"Baby girl, are you thinking of the other sleep?", he smirked and my eyes widened.

"Oh shit, did I actually say that out loud?", I asked and he nodded 'yes' with grin over his face.

I covered my mouth and put my head over his chest and he tightened his grip around my waist.

I was so glad that I could now rest my head over his chest like I did before the crash, because his ribs have healed and he doesn't feel the pain anymore.

"Baby, I want you", Niall said and I looked at him.

His blue eyes held a mischievous glint were drawing me closer into the whirl in them.

And I was slowly drowning in them.

"Do you want me now?", he asked as he placed kisses down my neck and I couldn't take it anymore.

"I want you too, baby".
