Niall's POV

THE SAME NIGHT.

"I'll have another beer", I yelled as Louis handed me another bottle of beer.

I turned around to go find Carina and the girls who said they'd be near the food table when all of a sudden Hailee held my hand.

I looked at her and she smirked.

"Niall, can I have your beer?", she asked.

"Uh, sure", I said as I handed her my beer bottle and slipped out of her grasp.

I walked over to Liam and Louis who were closer to the open bar.

"I need another beer", I said.

"Slow down, mate. You just had a beer like almost a minute ago", Liam said.

"Well, Hailee said she wanted that", I said as Louis snorted.

"Why is that bitch acting all clingy around you?", Louis asked.

"She is?", I asked, oblivious.

"Yeah, she is. And I can tell that she's pissing Carina off", Liam said.

"Well, I don't know about that, but her cousin pissed me off", I said, recalling the way he looked at Carina and called her beautiful.

I mean, no one's allowed to call her beautiful other than I.

"Mate, I'm pretty sure you'll whack his face if you turn around and look over there", Louis said as he pointed towards the food table.

Mark; Hailee's cousin was standing extremely close to Carina as she was backing away from him.

I walked over to them almost immediately, pushing past the people on my way.

"Cari, let me introduce you to another of my friend", I said as I kissed Carina's cheek in front of Mark.

"I'd be glad to. Excuse me, Mark", she said as she wrapped her hand around my bicep, as we walked away leaving Mark alone.

"Thanks for saving me from the torture", she mumbled.

"What was that all about?", I asked.

"I don't know, he almost stood over me as he spoke to me enquiring about my life", she said as she rolled her eyes.

"Well, what happened to Gangster Carina?", I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I was trying to be polite because he's your friend's cousin. Wouldn't want to punch him", she chuckled and I laughed. 

"Carina, I'm so glad you didn't die out of boredom with that gecko", Louis said as we stood in front of the area which was the bar.

"Sorry Carina, we had to leave from there because the boy was getting on my nerves", Gemma said as we laughed.

"Hello there", said a familiar voice as we turned around.

And it was her, again.

"Hailee, Mark was searching for you and I guess he's gone back to your suite", Harry said to her.

"Thanks, Hazza. I'll go after him. But hold on, how are you? You look so different", she squealed, again.

"Here we go again", Louis whispered as Eleanor and I chuckled.

"Yeah, eight years can be pretty long and can change a lot", Harry said with what looked like a fake smile.

"And you must be Louis and Liam", she said as she looked between the two.

"Yes, we look so different than we used to and we look much better", Louis said making us all laugh and leaving Hailee with an embarrassed face.

"Um, that's the only thing I can ask", she said as she laughed.

"And Zayn?", she said as she looked at him.

"Yeah", he said with a cool expression.

"Look at all those tattoos and all. Tatted man are you?", she said as she eyed him.

Zayn had worn a black tank top over shorts which easily showed off his tattoos.

He smiled and said nothing.

"I guess, Mark is lost. You should look out for him since it's a pretty large hotel", Harry said when the atmosphere got awkward.

"Yeah, I should get going and find that baby", she said as she rolled her eyes.

"Bye Niall", she said as she walked away from us.

"Has she always been like this?", Gigi asked.

"Nah, she'd not really pay attention to us back then because we weren't hot or whatever you call that. She'd always be sticking around all those hot guys", Liam spoke and the boys nodded.

"Looks like she finds us hot now", Harry said as we laughed.

"I just hope we find Mark and tell him that Hailee's gone back to the suite so that both of them remain there and never return again", Harry said.

"Oh, was that why you kept saying he's at their suite?", Gemma asked and he nodded.

"Guys, I don't think that's going to work", Zayn said as we turned around.

Hailee and Mark were making their way towards us.

"Oh no, not again", Louis groaned.

"Well, turns out that I found Mark here", she said with a bright smile.

"Good for you", Liam spoke.

"Why don't we click a few pictures?", she asked suddenly.

"Good idea, could you click a picture of Eleanor and me?", Louis asked as he handed his cellphone over to her even before she could answer.

"Uh, yeah", she said and snapped a picture of them.

"And a picture of us!", Gigi exclaimed as she handed her cellphone to Mark.

He looked irritated, but didn't complained as he snapped them.

"Well, I don't want to get a picture clicked, but I'm going to annoy them", Harry whispered, making me laugh.

"Mate, one of my sister and me?", he said as he pulled a very surprised Gemma in front of the camera.

"Yeah, whatever", Mark snapped angrily.

"No, I don't like these pictures. Take some better ones", Louis complained to Hailee who just rolled her eyes.

It was fun watching the two snap pictures with a scowl on their faces.

"Time to get ourselves clicked", I said to Carina as I pulled her along with me.

"Louis, if you're done, Carina and I want to click pictures too. Hurry up", I fake yelled at Louis who laughed.

"Hailee, snap a picture of our lovely couple", Louis said as he motioned towards Carina and I.

"But, I wanted to click a picture of Niall and I", Hailee said.

"Doesn't matter, you can snap one later. First click Niall and Carina", Eleanor spoke.

She looked at Carina with what looked like hatered.

I pulled Carina closer to me as I wrapped my hands around her tiny frame.

Hailee's eyes widened before she snapped pictures of us.

"Can you please check?", I asked Harry, not trusting if Hailee had really snapped us or not.

"Um, it's not really a nice one, but hold her closer", Harry smirked as Hailee looked pissed.

I pulled Carina closer to me as our bodies pressed into each other's.

I inhaled the smell of her hair and it felt so good.

The mid November weather was cool but I felt so warm as I held her against my body.

"Perfect", Harry smirked as he snapped a picture of us.

"I need a picture of Niall and I", Hailee said as she ran up next to me.

"Excuse me?", she said to Carina.

Carina reluctantly let go of me.

"Sorry, my cellphone's battery is dead", Harry said with a smirk.

I had to bite my lower lip in order to stifle a laugh. I realised almost all of us were holding back a laugh.

"Carina, come here", I said and she wrapped her arm around my torso.

"I want her to be in the picture with us", I simply said to Hailee who looked at me in disbelief.

"Alright, smile", Mark said as he was about to snap a picture of us.

"Shut up and get away", Gemma pushed Harry towards Mark.

"Man, hold yourself", Mark seethed angrily. "You ruined the picture".

"Sorry, my sister's a bit of Wonder Woman and can move me off my feet", he fake apologised because I knew that look in his face.

I've been seeing that look on his face whenever we've tried to pull pranks on people and I see that it's not changed even one bit.

"Alright, I guess that's enough for tonight", Thomas said over the microphone as the music abbruptly came to a stop.

"I would love to party with you'll all night, but there are also others who are on this campus and we wouldn't want to be a disturbance to them", he said as everyone booed.

"Tomorrow's going to be a longer night and I swear no one can stop us from partying", he said as the crowed hooted in excitement.

"Alright, good night Adventurous Campers. It's been an amazing night. We meet by the roof top pool tomorrow at noon", he said as everyone clapped.

"Well, technically today since it's last midnight", he said looking at his wrist watch and laughed.

We exchanged our good nights with the boys and girls, almost ignoring Hailee and Mark.

As I walked out of the bathroom in my shorts, Carina was standing in front of the full length mirror which faced the beach.

She was in her night clothes, but hadn't slept as yet.

"What's wrong? What haven't you slept as yet?", I spoke as I wrapped my arms from behind her.

"Nothing. It's been a crazy night", she said.

"You mean, Hailee's been a crazy one", I joked and she chuckled.

"Why does she look at you like that?", she asked as she turned around to look at me.

"Look at me like what?", I asked as I pulled her closer to me.

She put her arms around my neck, "Like she's going to take you away from me".

I was taken aback.

"No Carina, not she or anyone can take me away from you. Hell, nothing can take me away from you", I said as I kissed her jaw.

She sucked in a breath and pulled back.

"Promise me that", she said as she looked deep into my eyes.

"I promise you", I said as I stared back into her brown ones.

"Let's get some sleep", I said as I pulled her towards the bed.

Soon, she was snuggled into my chest like we were a few hours ago.

I had to fight back the urge to kiss her because I didn't know if she was ready for it or not.

I wanted everything to be perfect with her.

So I ignored my urges and looked down at her beautiful face.

"Good night, Niall", she said as she looked up at me.

"Good night, Carina", I said as I tightened my grip around her, pulling her closer to me.
