"I feel sorry for you about the comments..." Medea mumbled. Indra shrugged her shoulders as she walked towards the taxi that was there to pick the small group up from the airport.
"It's okay. I am getting used to it."
"It's really not okay. You are getting blamed for things you would never do and never did. Like that last comment. They are literally intending that you cheated on Lando with Fabian and I feel bad for you that he caused this, basically."
"Just let me know if you're ever getting them as well. We need to stick together and stay strong. We can deal with this and learn to ignore it. It's hard sometimes, but you can do it as well."

Alex didn't mean to eavesdrop, but he heard all of the conversation. He hated how 'fans' could make people feel like this. Indra was one of the brightest persons he had ever met, and Medea was really nice as well, and he hated how words could change their mood forever. And it was only because they were spending time with the people they loved and those people happened to be in the spotlights.

He made it his mission to keep his eye on these three girls and check up with them from time to time to see if they were alright.

They arrived at the hotel they were staying at and Indra and Medea went up to the same ground as Indra got Medea the room, so it was with McLaren. Sonne and Liam shared a room, and Alex had his own where his team was staying. the girls decided to meet up at the beach when the practices were so they could relax a bit before a busy weekend.

"I love that bikini, blue really goes well with your skin tone." Indra said with wide eyes when Medea walked out of the bathroom. For now the girls shared a room, but Indra would move to Lando's and the other girl would have the room for herself.

"Thank you," she replied and a smile grew on her face. She was glad that she agreed on going here with Indra and Sonne, because she was already having the most fun she had in a while. The three never really talked before, but the whole situation with her ex-boyfriend brought them together and showed them how much alike they were actually. It was safe to say that she made two new friends who she was grateful for.

Sonne was the type of person who was always active, always finding activities to do so she wouldn't get bored. She hated to get bored and do nothing. So when she saw an advertising board with paddle boards she was the one to propose to do it. The other two agreed with her as it did look fun so they went down the beach to hire three of the paddle boards.

When they were on the water and floated around, not really doing anything, Medea spoke up. "Thank you for asking me to come here with you, I feel genuinely happy right now. A feeling I have not felt in a long time."

"This is the life, huh?" Sonne replied, a smile on her face. Her feet dangled in the water and the sun was slowly warming her skin. It wasn't even that warm anymore, but 20 degrees Celsius was quite comfortable for a December. The naturally tanned girl nodded in silence, her mind was elsewhere.
