Announcement for my Dutch readers at the end of the chapter!!🤍

"Ready to go in an hour?" Indra's excited voice woke Lando, who groaned in reply.
"What time is it?"
"Four."

Oh shit, they really slept through the day. Lando smiled thinking back on why they were sleeping in the middle of the day though. They had brunch out, but when they got back and Lando was taking a shower, things started to get heated. Indra had joined the shower and they took it back to the bedroom.

They really had a thing with bathrooms then...
Fortunately Lando wasn't that tired. They got back at Indra's home early enough to catch enough hours of sleep. The sleep throughout the day was more considered to be a nap, he thought.

"I'll be in the bathroom first, give me ten minutes then you go." she informed, adding a wink after her sentence. She was intending on the exact thing that was going on in Lando's head, the memories. He just nodded with a big smile and turned around to check his phone for any missed messages.

Two hours later, they were standing in the centre of Cologne again. This night, they would be staying over at Indra's parents' house, so they were able to stay until late.

"Do you want to try some Glühwein?" Thomas Aldinger, the question directed at Lando. The Brit looked with a confused face, though trying to suppress his confusion.

"It's a warm wine. It's a delicacy in Germany mainly drunk around Christmas." Indra explained when she saw his expression. She knew he was going to turn it down, but that was for him to decide and tell her dad.

And indeed, Lando turned the offer down. "Oh, I'm sorry, I don't really drink. Thanks for the offer though." He felt bad for disappointing Indra's dad, or at least he felt like he was doing. But Indra squeezed his hand and shot him an encouraging smile to confirm that he did well for standing with his own norms and values.

Thomas too shot an accepting and proud smile his way. "Never apologize for saying no, my boy. It's better not to drink." He added a wink. Lando liked Indra's parents a lot. They reminded him of his own, and he was sure they would get along well.
