(DUN WORRY HAILEY THIS AINT TURNING INTO A LEMON XD)
Hailey's POV
"Hey, Boris, where'd Bendy go? He's been gone for a while now," I asked, not looking up from my sketchbook. It was kinda refreshing being away from Bendy's flirting and constant irritation fuel (no wait I'm projecting myself onto Hailey shit) but it was also a little concerning. He had his attack a little bit before he left, I don't want him trying anything risky and hurting himself.
"Probably our drinking again. If I'm right, I'm sleeping in Mug's room tonight," Boris answered, a rustle of papers, most likely from the magazines on the bedside table, soon following. Oh good god kill me now, the last thing I want to see is Bendy fucking drunk. I groaned and shook my head, hoping with every fiber in my being he just went on a long ass walk and didn't go to a fucking bar. I heard the door open and was immediately hit with the set of alcohol. Fucking god damnit Bendy is fucking drunk or he's some sort of super creature that can down 2 gallons of alcohol without getting tipsy.
"I'm staying with Mugman and Cuphead tonight bro, don't try anything with Hailey," Boris stated, getting up. My face got as red as my hair in a millisecond.
"BORIS SHUT UP!" I shouted, my eyes finally leaving my sketchbook and seeing Bendy. He was wasted. Hardcore wasted. Like, the guy could barely stand up straight and had a beer blush and everything. Boris laughed at my reaction I'm assuming as he closed the door behind him, his footsteps fading away as he walked to the room next door to crash with Felix and the Cup brothers. I sighed and got up, grabbing Bendy's shoulders and helping him walk to a bed. Thank god this room had two beds.
"How much did you drink?" I asked, wanting to get an accurate estimate.
"Lost count after my 10th glass," he answered, his words slurring together slightly. Dang, he's hardcore drunk, and I was hoping for something easier. But nope! Can't have happy things happening can we? I sighed in annoyance and shook my head, having Bendy sit down on the bed.
"You get some rest alright, you need to sleep the beer off," I instructed, starting to move back to my bed. Only for the tiny demon to grab me by my wrists and pull me towards him with some superpowered strength I had no idea could fit into his god damn body. I yelped in surprise as he snuggled against me like I was a teddy bear, my nose wrinkling at the scent of alcohol that covered him. He buried his face into my hair and purred lightly, causing a small blush of embarrassment on my cheeks.
"Come on Bendy, this isn't funny," I scolded him, trying to pull away, but his death grip wasn't letting up.
"Your hair's amazing," he responded, his slur slowly getting better.
"Yeah yeah, you're drunk, quit it," I snapped, still trying to pull away. He growled in response and shook his head, somehow tightening his grip on me.
"No. Stay, please," He asked, pulling his face away from my hair and finally meeting my eyes. That's when I saw it. There were tear tracks under his eyes. Was he crying earlier? They couldn't have been from the attack, Bendy's washed his face since then... Did he cry at the bar?
"Don't go, please. Don't leave me," he begged, sadness rimming his red eyes. My heart was stabbed with sympathy and guilt. Damnit. Why did this demon have to be so cute sometimes. I sighed and soon returned his embrace, gently running my fingers through his hair.
"Alright, you win, I ain't going anywhere," I agreed, sighing in defeat. Bendy's grip on my loosened and he cupped my face with one of his hands, moving my face so I make eye contact with him again.
"I love you," he said, his slur gone for a moment, and pure love and care in his eyes. My blush from earlier returned and my eyes widened in shock. Bendy pulled my face to his and kissed me gently. Yeah the alcohol kinda sucked, but it was still a pretty good kiss. He pulled away and smiled lazily at me, laying down on the bed and pulling me down with him, falling asleep almost immediately.
It was the biggest ordeal trying to convince him that what happened was real and wasn't some drunk fantasy he had the next morning.
