HailsV: When you lose someone so close to your heart you start to realise all the good in your life that you want to hold on to. I've been in a bad mood for a while and it's none of your faults. Our dog Benny Jr. is really ill. My grandma took him to the vet and they said he's just too old, his body can't cope. My grandad bought Benny with the first bit of money he earned as a kid. He was so proud of how hard he worked. He looked after Benny. One time, my grandma was coughing really badly and my grandad was outside and couldn't hear her. Benny started barking and ran to my grandad so he knew. Then he stayed by her side when Grandad helped her. I come home from school everyday and Benny is already waiting by the door. My dad was always telling my grandad to put him down, he wasn't worth it. He's worth it to my grandad. To my grandma. To me. The truth is... I'm scared. I'm scared about what we're going to do when he goes. I love Benny so much. He's not just a dog he's family.

I just felt like I owed you all an explanation.
