Y/N was a normal girl, as a second year in karasuno high school. As she was learning more and more about the school she heard a lot of rumors from everyone being scared of a certain 6'2 foot 18 year old male. They say that he is a gangster or a drug dealer. But everytime she walks by him she sees him looking at her with such a gentle face. But she was a very shy person. People have to approach her. Not the other way around. But also people stay away from her because she is slightly chubby. Which is weird for people in japan (making that up). They see her as an outcast because of that. She still gets bullied but not as much. As she was in america. which she was grateful for. She only has 2 friends that she likes very much. She calls them noya and tanaka. They were her best friends. She has girl friends as well but they are not as close to her as the boys. Because the girls judge her. The boys always try to get her to go to the volleyball club but she always refuses to. Again because she was shy, and that the club was filled with boys. But now she is going to surprise them.

As school was over the boys said bye to Y/N as they "saw" her walk out of school. But as they turned their backs she walked behind them slowly. As they left the doors open she heard the balls smacking on the ground and people cheering. As she looked through the nets on the door she was amazed. On how everyone looked and how focused. She then saw noya and tanaka. She had stars in her eyes. She then opened the nets, and saw shimizu-senpai. She freaked out and started to walk out but you heard someone say "WATCH OUT!" just then a volleyball was spiked to the back of her head. She fell forward. She heard a lot of feet running towards you. She looked up with blurry vision. "Everybody move, give her some space!" She at least recognizes that voice as tanaka. Then she was out cold.

*tanaka's pov*

I watched as the ball was about to hit Y/N in the head "WATCH OUT!" It was Asahi that yelled that. I looked at his face and he was scared. I saw her fall to the ground and everyone was running towards her. I saw that they were about to circle her. "Everybody move, give her some space!" she was looking in a daze. Then fell on the floor. I then went to her and picked her up. "Is she okay?" i looked and saw captain daichi looking at her in worry. "I dont know i am going to take her to the nurse right now."

*3 pov*

As he picked her up he looked back at asahi who looked ashamed and worried. Tanaka wonders why because he knows you two have never talked to each other before. As he started to walk to the nurse Y/A started to wake up. She looked at tanaka. She was flustered and got all shy. "T-tanka why are you carrying me?" He smiled and looked down at her a bit. "Because you were out cold. And plus you're not that heavy as you think you are, you are actually very light." she then blushed again. "Tanaka you say this just to be nice to me." he smiled a bit "Y/A you are just as pretty as shimizu-sama. And I mean it. Dont let the other boys get to you. You only need us and possibly the volleyball team. If you want to watch or even join. She gave a thinking face and said "maybe i'll think about it." Tanakae smirked "you get to see asahi more than just a glance in the hallways" Y/N jumped out of his arms and yelled "how do you know about that. I didn't tell anyone!" she started to snicker at her while he ran away from her. "TANAKA GET BACK HERE!" she yelled. Causing a commotion in the outside classes and the volleyball gym. (they didn't get that far) daichi looked outside and saw that Y/A started to chase tanaka. "Hinata target practice with kagayama. I need you to hit tanaka but the ball cant hit Y/A" hinata then jumped his highest and said "OUS! Bakagayama lets go!" everyone laughed at them.

Kagayama got ready for a set while Hinata focused on tanaka. As Hinata saw the ball in the air he aimed it right at the back of tanaka's head. All you heard was a "POW!" and Tanaka turned around with an angry face. "HINATA!" the orange hair boy hid behind kagayama. Y/N started to laugh because of tanaka. Everyone looked at her. She then looked at all of them and hid behind tanaka. ///// "why is everyone looking at me?" she asked him.

*Y/N's pov*

I was so flustered everyone was looking at me when I was laughing at Tanaka. He turned around to look at me. "It's fine Y/N we have a shy person just like you. I think you too will get along just well." she looked at him weird until noya pushed a tall man with a man bun and a goatee towards them. I started to blush more than I wanted to. "H-hi im a third year, my name is Asahi azumane." i looked from behind tanaka and saw the " gangster man from the hallways?" now the whole team started to laugh. He looked down scratching his neck. I tilted my head and saw that he was a bit sad "uh- i-i um- s-sorry asahi-senpai i know it's not true- ah-!" He looked up so fast at me and had a small smile. "Thanks Y/N-san?" he said, wondering if it was okay "hai Y/N L/N nice to meet you Azumane-senpai." i said with a bright smile. Noya and tanaka were jumping up and down along with hinata. My face started to turn into a tomato while the azumane was the same. Noya then came up to me and said "you become the second manager. When shimizu-sama leaves" he said with a crying face. I looked at the team and then looked at shimizu-senpai. "I-i mean if that's okay with all of you. I hope I can look the part." noya and tanaka sighed while the rest of the team surrounded me and said nice compliments. And then azumane-kun came up to me and said "the only reason why i kept looking at you in the hallways is because of how beautiful you were just walking by. Both of our faces grew red. But had big smiles on our faces. I knew by now that we were just going to be great friends with everyone and maybe something even more special with azumane-kun.
