"Now guys, I leave chosing the members which will take part in race to the class president and the vice president. Is that okay?"
"Yes!"
All of the class say in unison.
"Now, (l/n) and Tanaka, I will leave this work to you."
"Yes, sir!"
You stand up with the vice president Yamamoto and stand behind the teacher's desk.
"Now minna, let's start from chosing the members who will take part in the class race."
You write 1,2,3,4 and anchor to the board.
"First of all, who want to be the first runner?"
One by one, you chose the people who will run in the race.
"And the forth runner?"
"Me! Me! ME!"
You sigh and turn to the owl-headed boy at the behind.
I wanted to make Bokuto the anchor but it looks like I don't have got an another choice...
"Okay then, Bokuto-kun as the forth runner."
You nod at Yamamoto and he write Bokuto's name to the board.
"Yossshaaa!"
He probably doesn't understand the importance of anchor...
"And last of all, who wants to be the anchor?"
No one from the class raise his or her hand.
It looks like I must chose...
You look around the class and your eyes stop on a certain boy. You smirk and cough.
"If no one is going to volunteer, I think Konoha-kun is suitable."
"I think so."
"Me too!"
"Anyone who disagrees?"
"W-Wait a m-"
"Soo~ Konoha-kun is our anchor for the race!"
Yamamoto write Konoha's name to the board and Konoha slowly slip down from his place.
"Magica... (Is it real?)"
Everyone start to laugh and you laugh too.
After this, you chose the other members for the other races and your come to an end.
"Okay guys, you can leave now."
People come to class or exit class. You head to Konoha's desk and smile.
"Sorry but there wasn't anything I can do other than this Akki."
An owl head pop up from Konoha's behind.
"Why are you mad? Isn't it great?! You are going to run in the race! Though you are going to run after me!"
So he really doesn't know what an anchor means...
"Are you a grade schooler? And I will just say it, anchor is the most important person in the race because he runs at the end and finishes the race."
"Really?!? Then why am I not the anchor? I am more suitable!"
"It is because you raised your hand everytime Kou-chan."

You pat Konoha's shoulder.
"But don't worry Akki! I will help in your trainings and your condition!"
"Then why didn't you take part in the race? You are the captain of the track club right?"
Konoha hit Bokuto's head.
"What are you saying? Did you forget that she hurted her feet?"
"Really?!"
"You really forget..."
"Let's start the trainings from today on! Okay Akki?"

Konoha run through the finishing line and fall to ground. You push the of your stopwatch and turn to Konoha. He was breathing heavily, his chest going up and down.
You head to him and extend him the water bottle. You smile at him and he sit up. He take the bottle and drink all of the water. You sit next to him and start to talk.
"Your start is really good Akki, but you get slow at the end."
"So, what should I do?"
"I think it is because of your stance. You stoop when you are running. Yes, it makes you faster but it makes harder to breath. So, if you stay straight when you are running, it will make easier for you to run and store more energy."
"Okay, I will try to do like that."
"I believe you can do it Akki."
He blush a little avoid your gaze.
"You really like running, don't you?"
He lie down and stare at the setting sun.
"Yeah but I like you too Akki."
Pink dust appear on his face.
"Wha-"
"Of course, I like Kou-chan too!"
"So your is something like that..."
He sigh and stand up.
"Okay, this much training is okay for today."
He help you to get up and you two head to your neighbourhood after Konoha change his clothes.
~Timeskip~ (The Day of Sport Festival)
"Which matches or races did you take part in Kou-chan?"
"In basketball, football, baseball and others I can't remember!"
"That's a lot..."
"How did you find energy for all of them?"
Konoha sigh.
"How about you (f/n)? Is your foot okay?"
"Thanks Kou-chan but don't worry! It is okay but my doctor said I shouldn't run in a race. I helped the infirmary stand. I will be helping them until the end of the day but I will watch your race!"
You smile at two boys.
"Bokuto-san!"
You heard a voice and turn to the owner.
"Akaashi!"
"What are you doing Bokuto-san? You said that you are going to find that key!"
"Really?!?!? I must go!! See you later!!"
"Race is now! Don't get late!"
"Okkayyy!!!"
Bokuto start to run.
Akaashi bow to you and start to run with Bokuto.
"What is that Bokuto doing?..."
"I don't know."
You giggle and continue to walk to the track field.
"Do your best in the race Akki."
Konoha stop and you stop with him.
"Something wrong?"
"Do you want me to do my best?"
"Of course!"
"Then don't get angry."
He slowly lean to you and kiss your forehead.
He lean back and blush with a grin.
"Now I can do my best."
He run away, leaving you with a blushing.
You come to your senses and shout behind him.
"I will kick if you don't take the first place!!"
He wave his hand while running and you smile.
You head to the field and other students start to gather too.

You walk to the field and see that everyone is in their places.
Your eyes look for Konoha who is ready to run anytime. When you were going to call his name, someone touch to your arm.
"(l/n)-senpai! We need your help!"
You turn to see one of your kouhai from the track club.
"What is it Akari?"
"A little girl fell down and her leg is blooding. I couldn't find someone other than you who is working in the infirmary stand."
You take a glance at the field.
A race starts and finishes is really fast... If I go now, there is chance for me to can't see the ending... But I must help that girl...
You shake your hand.
If I work fast, I can see it...
"Okay. Please lead me to her!"
Your kouhai nod and start to run. You run behind her.
While you were running, you heard the pistol sound, which signals that the race has started.
I must hurry up...
"Here is she!"
Your kouhai stops at the stand and shows you the crying girl who is sitting on a chair.
You take the aid-kit and take out liquid, cotton and a plaster.
"It can hurt a little bit..."
You pour the liquid to the wound and wipe with cotton. You stick the plaster and pat the girl's head.
"It is okay now."
The girl stop crying and smile.
"Arigatou Onee-san!"
You smile back at her.
"I must go now Akari."
She nod and you start to run.
I can make it!...
You stop at the low barrier and see Konoha is running at the second place.
You take a long breath and shout, making the people around you shocked.
"RUN! AKINORI GANBARRE (Do your best)!!!!"
Like he heard you, he lean down and start to run faster.
One step
Two steps
Three steps
And now he was in the first place.
He run through the red ribbon and everyone start to clap.
You jump over the barrier and run to Konoha. You jump on him and make you fall.
"Akinoriii!!!"
"Wha-?"
"You did it!"
You grin like a child and he smile back at you.
"Thanks to you~."
He slowly hugs you and make you blush. But you smile and hug him back.
"I love you (f/n)!"
"I love you too!"
~EXTENDED ENDING~
"I see you two are all lovey dovey~."
Bokuto smirk from behind.
You let go Konoha and blush like Konoha. Konoha stand up angrily and start to run after Bokuto.
"WAIT THERE YOU IDIOT!"
"Kyaaa~ Akinori-kun is going to kill me~~!"
