"Why Nii-san? I just want to see you play! I am sure that your coach won't get mad at you or someone else!"

The taller black-haired boy pats your head slowly.

"I am sorry (f/n). But your exams are coming up right? You have an exam on Monday so you won't have any enough time to study when you come with us to our practice match."

"That's okay! I am pretty confident in my Maths, so please just let me come to the Miyagi with you!"

"Oya oya oya? What's going on here?"

Suddenly, an owl-haired tall male pops up from out of nowhere.

"Bokuto-san... Please don't come in at such a bad timing. I don't have any time to give attention to you at the moment." 

"That's harsh Akaashi! Well whatever, what's the matter (f/n)?"

"Kou-chan~! Nii-san isn't letting me come to your practice match with Shiratorizawa. And all I want to do is watch him play..."

You fake cry which made Bokuto pat your head.

"Isn't it okay Akaashi? She can also help the managers too."

"Yep yep~!"

Akaashi sighs and glares at Bokuto.

"I don't know what will happen you know?..."

"That's okay! I will take the all responsibilty and talk with the coach. So (f/n) can see me kicking Ushiwaka's ass!''

"Even though you can only enter to top 5 while he can enter to 3?"

"There is no need for you to say it Akaashi!"

You laugh and hug Bokuto which made Akaashi sigh once again.

"Thanks a lot Kou-chan!"

"Hehe, leave it to me!"

The bell rings and all of you head to your classrooms. You smile to yourself while thinking about going to the Miyagi to see the practive match between Fukuroudani and Shiratorizawa. Certainly, it was going to be an enjoyable match to watch. Though you couldn't say that you weren't interested in certain someone in Shiratorizawa.

Finally, it is the day for the practice match. You and the volleyball team is in the bullet train which will soon depart for Miyagi. You take your place next to the managers' of the team, one of classmates Suzumeda Kaori and third-year Shirofuku Yukie. You giggle when you see that Yukie is already digging into the snacks she brought. The train departs as you start talking with the managers.

"Why did you want to come to this practice match that much (f/n)? You usually don't force your brother for things like this."

"Is there something special about Shiratorizawa?"

"Actually, yes. There is a player I am a little bit curious about."

"Oya? Is he handsome?"

"You can say so? I am more interested in his play though. He was a pretty well known setter in his middle school and he was also the main setter of Shiratorizawa the last time I saw their match. I am not sure about at the moment though, I couldn't watch their matches for a while since I was focusing on the entrance exams."

"Maybe you can see him in today's match?"

"I hope so. I would like to see his play in real life."

"Well since we have time until we reach there, wanna play Old Maid?"

"You even bring cards with you senpai?..."

"I brought UNO~!"

"You too? Why UNO though?..."

"I wanna play too~!"

"Please don't make much noise Bokuto-san."

"You play UNO too Akaashi!"

"Are you even listening to me?..."

"Well they have a pretty nice place even though we aren't in Tokyo."

"That's Shiratorizawa for you..."

You look around and see that Shiratorizawa has a pretty wide campus. Suddenly, you feel an urge to drink something.

There must be a vending machine somewhere in this huge campus, right?...

You touch to Kaori's shoulder. She turns to you with a questioning look.

"Something wrong (f/n)?"

"I will go and find some oolong tea. Do you want anything?"

"Nope, be careful though. You can get lost."

"Don't worry about me, see you in the gym."

Okay, so you got lost.

It wasn't like you weren't careful or something. It was just that you weren't careful enough and that's all.

You roam around a bit, can't find a vending machine, neither a familiar face at the end. You sigh and find a comfortable place to sit under a tree. You lean against the tree and sigh.

"Umm... Can I help you?"

You look up to see a tall male with dark ginger hair, his dark brown eyes looking at you suspiciously. He was wearing Shiratorizawa's uniform, the volleybal club's jersey on top of that. Looks like it is your lucky day today. You stand up quickly and see the huge height difference.

"I am looking for a vending machine but I can't seem to find one. Can you help me please?"

He looks around him and nods.

"This way."

You two walk in silence, he walking in front of you and you following right after him while looking at his back figure. Like you noticed before, he was pretty tall probably around 1.90 cm or something and had a considerably large build. You wonder what position he is playing, maybe middle blocker? Is he even a starting member? You continue thinking about it, since it would be just awkward if you try to start a conversation at the moment.

"Here."

He stops suddenly making almost bump to him. You look at what he is pointing at and see the vending machine. You stand in front of him, look up and smile.

"Th-"

"Oi Taichi!"

You and the boy, it looks like his name is Taichi, look towards the direction you heard the voice at the same time. Your eyes widen with shock as soon as you recognize the figure standing there with a frown on his face.

"What are you doing here Taichi? We are supposed to meet up in the gym an- Wait who is she?"

Both Taichi and Semi look at you at the same time.

"Ah, I am (l/n) (f/n). I came here with the Fukuroudani volleyball team."

"Well I am-"

"You are Semi Eita right?"

"Wha- How do you know me?"

"I have known you since I saw a match of yours in middle school. I think your play style is really amazing. I was hoping to see you play when I came here. Nice to meet you, Semi Eita-san."

You bow, leaving Semi a little bit frustrated. And another someone a little bit irritated because of the attention shown to his senpai.

"Y-Yeah, nice to meet you too."

"Well I a-"

"Senpai, didn't you say that we are supposed to meet up in the gym?"

"Oh yes! I totally forgot it. Come on Taichi, we have to hurry up!"

Two boys start running towards to their gym, leaving you alone with the vending machine. You shrug and put a 150¥ into the machine. You push the button for the oolong tea and hear the satisfying falling sound coming from the vending machine. You take the bottle and take a sip from it. Then you also head to the gym, hoping that you are going in the correct direction.

Oh... I totally forgot to thank to that Taichi guy... Guess I will thank him after the match...

The match lasted pretty long, that's one of the best schools in Tokyo and the best school in Miyagi for you. Even though Fukuroudani lost 2-1, you couldn't tell who would win in the next match.

In the match, you noticed that Semi wasn't in the starting. However, he appeared in the match as a pinch server, hitting some killer serves. They were amazing, making you stare at them with awe. Other than Semi, you couldn't take your eyes off from Taichi. He had a successful and analytical blocking style unlike the other middle blocker who were using guess blocking. The other person was kinda creepy, but he had the spark.

After the match, while others were collecting their stuff, you go out to find Taichi. You told Yukie that you won't be late this time. 

Right after you leave the gym, you see Taichi walking towards somewhere.

"Taichi-san!"

Surprised since his first name was used, Taichi turn to you qucikly.

"Sorry I couldn't catch your last name so..."

"It is okay, by the way it is Kawanishi Taichi. What is it?"

"Oh, I just wanted to thank you since I couldn't say it earlier. Here."

You hand him one of the candies Yukie gave you. You smile at him.

"It is a thanks gift."

Your smile makes him blush a little bit but he takes the candy anyways.

"Hey.."

"Yes?"

"Would you mind if I ask for your number?"

This time, it was your turn to blush.

"O-Of course not!"

You exchange your numbers with him and bow.

"Talk to you later then."

Kawanishi heads towards his teammates and you also turn towards to your friends, when suddenly someone grabbed your wrist. 

"Oh, sorry. Did I scare you?"

"Semi-san? No, I was just a little bit surprised. How can I help you?"

"Uhh well... Since you told me that you have known me for a while and like my playing style, I just thought that maybe we could exchange numbers or something?..."

You chuckle at his shy attitude but nod anyways.

"I would like to, Semi-san."

With that, you also exchange numbers with Semi and head towards to the Fukuroudani's volleyball team.

Once you arrived to Tokyo, you part your ways with the other people in the team and head to your house with Akaashi.

"You look pretty happy (f/n). Something good happened?"

You think about today, how you lost your way and your unexpected meeting with Taichi and Semi and how you exchanged numbers with them. You give your brother a wide smile.

"You can say so~!"
