You didn't know what to do. Who's fault was it? Why did it start in the first place?

"Tobio! Just listen to me for once!"

"I am (F/n)! I really am! I'm always listening to you but you never try to listen to me!" He spat.

"I'm trying Tobio! Can we just resolve this without yelling!" You begged.

"I'm trying too! I'm not perfect! I'm sorry that I'm not perfect!" He ruffled his hair in frustration.

"I care Tobio. I'm sorry! Is it so wrong to worry about you?!" Your voice trembled.

"I DON'T NEED YOU TO CARE FOR ME! IM WELL ON MY OWN!" He snapped as he hit the wall beside you creating a small dent.

A chill ran up your spine. Anger was instantly overshadowed by fear.

You were scared.

"T-tobio–"

He aggressively grabbed your wrist.

"I don't need you! Your only hindering me! Are you that blind?! I'm not a kid (F/n)! Just stay away from me!" His grip got tighter every harmful word that he spat.

"Kageyama, You're hurting me.." You said under your breath as you tried to loosen his grip. He was unable to hear you over the excessive yelling. Every insult felt prolonged and painful.

"I CA–"

"KAGEYAMA, LET GO!" You yanked you arm back as you stumbled backward. You rubbed the forming bruise on your wrist.

Kageyama could only stare at your trembling figure. He tried to reach for you but you ushered away.

"Leave."

"(F/n).. I-I.."

"Go. Away."

"Listen–"

"Please just leave! Isn't that what you wanted anyways? Leave," your voice cracked.

His head dropped in guilt as he reluctantly walked out of your home. As soon as the door closed you fell to your knees and broke down into tears.

You felt broken. You didn't want it to be over but it was probably the worst argument the both of you had ever had. And if was for the stupidest reason.

You decided to dial Hinata in situations like these.

"Hey (F/n)!" A gleeful voice answered. "Are you... okay?"

"Yeah. Well, no, not at all actually," you laughed through your tears.

"This is new.. Did something happen between you guys?" He asked nicely.

"We had an argument, again, I honestly can't even remember why," you sighed. "Having these many arguments.. It almost seems like a toxic relationship."

"I don't think so! You guys are always happy with each other. I'm no expert but it's normal to have arguments in a relationship."

"Yeah but this many?"

"I'm coming over with snacks and movies!" He spoke with excitement.

Hinata was probably your closest friend since he never failed to lighten your mood in the darkest times.

"Okay, bring popcorn," You sniffed through the phone, "See ya!"

"I'll be there in a flash!"

The orange haired volleyball player repeatedly banged on your front door.

"Okay! okay!" You stumbled over and opened the door to find your orange haired fire and hold a basket of food.

"Let's do this," He stated confidently.

He placed the basket on your coffee table in your living room and you brought blankets with hot cocoa. You sat on your couch as Hinata sat on the other side.

"So, what happened in detail," Hinata asked.

"It started off small but we got even more frustrated with each other. The argument led to one after another until Kageyama broke. I was afraid of him. For the first time ever," You sighed sadly.

"What are you planning to do?"

"I have no clue," You shook your head, "can this even be fixed? I don't want to be the one apologizing first. I'm always doing that for him. Or maybe it's meant to be over..."

"If he really loved you he'll be back," Hinata smiled.

Suddenly a knock at the door appeared. The knock them turned into banging.

"What the hell..." You sat up to get the door. You opened it slightly to only slam it shut again.

"Uh... I'm going to go to the bathroom!" Hinata ran away from the living room.

"(F/n), can we talk please!" A desperate breathless voice was heard through your door, "I know your mad but I just want to talk."

You inhaled and slowly opened the door to reveal the tall raven haired setter. You leaned against the door and avoided his gaze.

"You're still mad?"

"Why wouldn't I be mad?! That's such a dumb question," You spat angrily.

"I-I'm sorry!"

You were surprised by the sudden apology you looked up to see Kageyama in a terrible state. His eyes were red and he was still out of breath.

'Did... he run here?'

"Look... I said harmful things that I should've never said. I'm glad that you care. I'm thankful for you every-single-day. I hurt you and I scared you," He held a fistful of hit hair in his hands, "I don't want you to leave me alone. Can you... forgive me?"

You stayed silent as you took in every word that slipped from his mouth.

"(F/n) can you please say something?"

"Something."

"Don't make this harder than it already is," Kageyama groaned making you laugh a bit.

"I would've never expect the almighty Tobio would fall to his knees and apologize," you cooed, "I'm sorry too, It was also my fault."

He turned red from embarrassment.

"Why did you come back so quickly?"

"We can argue... As long as were okay at the end of the day..." He stated.

"NOT SO STONE HEARTED ANYMORE!" You laughed hugging the tall giant, "We're okay."

He smiled kissing the top of your head. You were really the only one who's was able to break through his walled up heart.

"Let's watch movies and eat!" You grabbed his hand and lead him inside.

"You guys are okay!!!" Hinata peeked around the corner.

"HINATA?! I SWEAR IM GOING TO KILL YOU!" Kageyama ran into the house and grabbed the small shrimp by his shirt.
