Hello Hello, readers! We met again on this platform called the Haikyuu!! x Reader ~Fanfic~. It's nice to see you guys read this fanfic and I really appreciated it when you helped correct me anything that's wrong in this fanfic. Thanks for improving me and this fanfic. Have fun!

"(y/n), don't you scared when you are with Tendou?" your friend asked you.
"Why? He's not a scary person so, why do I have to feel scared when I am with him?" you asked her back not understand on why she asked you that.
"Not a scary person? He's deadly scary for me. He's like a monster" you pinched her cheeks when you heard her answer.
"It's not nice to say something like that to a person! Mind your word, girl"
"But it's the truth" 

You don't know why all of them said that Tendou is such a scary person, because, for you, he is the nicest person that you ever met. You knew him when you first got into Shiratorizawa Academy and that time both of are the first year in there. You got freaking lost in this big school and then you found Tendou sitting under a tree. You walked closer to him to asked him the direction but instead, you saw him fall asleep. His red hair really strike you but you don't really care about other appearances so, you just let it go. You want to wake him up but at the same time, you don't want to disturb him. You ended up gave up and turned around to search someone else but then a hand grab yours.

"Who are you?" he asked you and you a bit surprised by his voice. Not manly but you like it.
"I am (y/n)(f/n), nice to meet you. Sorry if I disturb you" he shook his head and giving you a smile that makes you speechless for a while.
"No, you don't. What do you want?" 
"Ah, I want to ask you the direction to go to the office, but, when I saw you fall asleep there, I don't want to disturb you" he raised his eyebrow.

"You left because you don't want to disturb my sleep rather than feel scared by me?" you nodded but feel weird on why he asked you that.
"Should I feel scared?" he laughed hearing your answer.
"No no, better that way. Thank you. Come, I show you the way" he stood up and then walked with you to the gym.
"May I know your name?" you asked him.
"Tendou Satori" 

Since then, both of you became friends and you always cheered him up when he is the volleyball tournament. You don't ever miss yet any of his tournament and every time he finished the game,  you will go to see him and gave him his usual drink. He always said that he will be more energized when he drink your healthy special drinks, and just for that reason, you will be very happy when you saw he drank your special drink. You also giving it to the other members, not knowing that Tendou will change his facial expressions when you smiled and gave the special drink to the other members. 

Until this one day of one of the tournament come. You come to the team as usual to give your special drink and of course, the first person you gave is Tendou and after that, you started handing it to the other member. 

"(y/n), thank you for everything you did to us. We really appreciated it" Semi said it to you and you smiled to him.
"Don't worry about the little thing. I just gave you guys drinks and that's all" you want to hand the bottle to Semi but the bottle escaped from your grasp and rolled down on the floor. Both of you bend down to get it back but end up collide to each other. 
"Aww!" both of you touched your own head and laughed.
"Sorry, (y/n)" he apologized and bend down to take the bottle.
"It's okay" you smiled to him and Semi smiled to you. You blushed a bit not knowing that someone is glaring hard at both of you.

Tendou's pov

"Wakatoshi-kun, what do you think of that?" I asked Wakatoshi while pointing at (y/n) and Semisemi.
"(y/n) give the bottle to Semi but the bottle fell and both of them want to take it and collide each other." I looked at Wakatoshi don't believe what he just said.
"Hmm, I can see that with my eyes. Thank you for the explanation but what I want to know is if they have some kind of feelings toward each other" 
"Why don't you asked them?" he replied with his poker face.
"Wah! Wakataoshi-kun, nice idea. If I can ask that kind of question to (y/n), I already have her as my girlfriend now"

"Tendou, you're afraid?" I think for a long time about his question. Am I afraid if I asked this, (y/n) will end up leaving me?

"Tendou! Tendou!" a voice waking me up from my thinking and saw (y/n) in front of me.
"What is it, (y/n)?" 
"I call your name but, you don't answer me. I am worried if something happens to you, you know" I smirked at her.
"(y/n), you are worried about me? Aww, my baby worried about me" I hugged her without thinking.
"T-Tendou!" I let her go and saw her blushing. Okay, I am not regretting my move.

"Why with that sudden nickname and hug?!" she asked me while averting her eyes from me which I found cute. 
"Why? I can't?" I lower my face to hers and both of our eyes end up staring at each other.
"(y/n)..." I called her name while closer my face to hers.
"T-Tendou... My heart is beating fast right now" she said and that makes me smiled.
"Me too" our lips almost touched but then we heard someone coughing makes both of us retreat and turn around hiding our face.

"I-I will go first. Good luck for the next round" she said before practically running away from here leaving me with the other teammate.
"I will go too. Good luck for the next round" I said and try to run away, mark the word try because all of them blocked me from the run.
"You're in the team, Tendou. You can't go anywhere. Now tell us, what is your relationship between you and (y/n) now? Are you a couple?" Semisemi asked me and I smirked.
"Why Semisemi? Are you jealous?" 

"Huh? Why should I? We know you guys have feelings with each other. What we want to know is if both of you were already confessed to each other and become a couple already" 
"Eh?" I blinked my eyes and look at Wakatoshi and saw he nodded. I gasped.
"How can you guys know? Are you guys a mind reader?" 
"Tendou-san, you are obvious when it comes to (y/n)-san." Shirabu said and I sighed.

"I am afraid she will be scared" I admitted at them.
"Wow, it's my first time I heard Tendou said that he is afraid" Reon said and I glared at him but he just laughed at me.
"(y/n) is not like other girls out there and you guys already know each other almost three years now. If she is afraid of you, she already leaves you a long time ago, right?" I looked at Semisemi and hugged him.
"I love you Semisemi!" Semisemi slapped me.

"Go say that to (y/n) not me!"
"I will after this game. I will confess after this" I nodded and Wakatoshi patted my shoulder giving me the encouragement I need.

After that, we started our warm-up session for the upcoming game and my eyes wander around the cheers to search for (y/n) and when I saw her, I waved at her and giving her a smile. I saw her looked down but her hands waving back at me. Can she stop being so cute?!
We played like usual for our game and the results, of course, the same as always, with me blocked the spikes and Wakatoshi spiked the ball. We win the game splendidly and after we're out of the court, I started our cool down ritual with Wakatoshi and by then I saw (y/n) walking closer to me makes me stopped.

"(y/n)!" 
"Tendou finished your cool down first. I don't want you to complain about your muscle pain after this." 

Reader pov

You laughed when the red hair guy pouted when you are mad at him. After the incident between you and Tendou happens, you think a lot about how actually you feel for him and now you knew that you like him more than a friend. That's why your friends always said that why you can say he is not scary when all of them said that he is. You already like him from the first time you met him and now you want to confess to him. 

Tendou walking to you when he is done with his cool-down session and when you want to say something, he grabs your hand and brings you to someplace that you can't see anyone. How can he know this kind of place?

"(y/n), I want to say something" you nodded giving him permission to continue.
"I like you, (y/n). More than a friend. I want you to be my girlfriend. Will you?" he confessed to you makes you speechless. The guy you want to confess to end up confess to you first. 
"I know I am scary, like a monster. I can understand if you don't accept me" he turned around look dejected. I grabbed his shoulder and turn his back to look at you.

"Did I say anything? I didn't reply to you anything yet and you already assume what my answer is?" you smiled and placed your hands on his cheeks.
"Tendou, you're not a monster. I like you just the way you are and...I like you too" you gave him a big smiled before taking back your hand but Tendou grab it and placed it back on his cheeks.
"Ahaha, Thank you, (y/n). Thank you. I love you so much" his tender eyes melting my heart.

"Even if you're a monster, you are a special monster that captured me since the first time I met you" you chuckled and he laughed.

Don't ever let anyone talk trash about you, Tendou. Just be yourself because that Tendou is the one I love.

Finished for Tendou part! Yeay! When I wrote this I remember the scene where he is just a kid and the other kids called him a monster, like how can you say that to him? I know it's not easy to just ignore it when we know how other people called us, think about us but what the most important things are, we just have to be ourself and then we can see which of them around us are a fake and which of them are a really true friend.
