"Arghh!! I am late!" You ran out of your house and go to school as fast as you can. You're late today because you forgot to set your alarm and it's not the first time that you're late to school since you're living alone, there's no one will wake you up but your precious alarm.

Thank god, your house was not so far from your school, and this year you're a senior in Seijoh and you still have the title 'happy go lucky' person yet a bit clumsy.
You ran as fast as you can because the teacher wanna close the gate and you sliding right before the gate close. 

"Safe!" you shout and grasp your hand to the side.
"You're late again!" the teachers mad at you but you smiled to him and waved before ran away from him.

In your way to your class, you bump into someone but you didn't see who is it because you're really late and your first class is with Tiger-sensei, your nickname for him because he is so fierce.
"I am sorry, I am so sorry. I am late right now, sorry again. Bye!" you said to that person and ran to your class.

~ recess ~

"(y/n), want me to buy you something? I want to go to the cafe!" your friend asks you since you don't have time to buy anything because of Tiger sensei told you to collect the class exercise and bring it to him for coming late to his class.
"Bread and chocolate milk! Thanks, love you!" you grin to her and hurry to teachers office.

In your way to the teachers' room, you bump into someone. All the exercise lying on the floor and you fell on the floor.
"Aww!" you groaned and pick up all the paper and then you saw a guy helping you pick up the paper.

"I am so sorry. I didn't mean any hurting. I am really sorry" then he gives the paper and helping you to stand up.
"Thanks. Don't take any feelings about it. It's my fault too, didn't care about my environments" you smiled to him and bowed down.

"Hi! I am Oikawa Tooru...and you?"

"(y/n)(f/n), nice to meet you too but I am in a hurry, so see you later!" you waved to him and continued running to Tiger-sensei table in the teachers' room.
"Hey!" you know he wants to say something but this thing more important than him. 

"Don't be late for my class again!" Tiger-sensei said to you right after you hand the exercise to him.
"Aye aye sir!" you grinned while your point and middle finger at your head make it look like a salute. He shook his head and you bowed down before heading out from there.

"(y/n)!" someone called you right after you closed the teachers' room door. You searched for the voice and found Iwaizumi-kun coming to you.
"Ahh, Iwaizumi. What's wrong?" you asked him while he is breathless with his hand at his knee. He showed his hand wants you to give him a second.

"Okay, sorry. I am running from the gym to your class but your friends told me you went to see Yamagata-sensei, that's why I am here"
"So, the point is?"

"Coach Irihata wants to see you at the gym after school, means when we practice after school," he told you.

"Uncle Irihata? Why?" he shrugged. Yep, this school volleyball club coach is your uncle and Iwaizumi is the only one that knows about that because he saw you riding their coach car and asking you about that. You didn't have any choice other than telling him the truth.
"Okay. Thanks"you nodded and waved to him before going back to your class.

Why did uncle suddenly want me to come?  You think about it while walking to class but then you're tripping over yourself and almost fell but someone caught you before you end up falling. You look up and saw the same guy who's bumping into you a while ago.

"Why're you always falling on the floor?! It hurts and dangerous! What will you do if I didn't save you!" he mads at you while clutching your shoulder.
"I am sorry but can you release me first? It's hurting me more than falling on the floor" then he realises it and releases you.
"I am sorry" you chuckled when you saw his pouted face.

"No, it's okay. By the way, thanks for saving me, Oikawa-kun" he looked at you shockingly.

"You remember my name?" you laughed at his questions.

"Who didn't know the famous setter of the volleyball club? Of course, I know about you" you grin to him.

"Wah! Can we be friends?" you look at him weirdly.

"Of course, but why you're so excited when I know you?" he grins and winks.

"Nothing, in particular reason. Oh, I have to meet my friends. See you next time! Don't ever trip or fall again!" you laughed and waved to him.

Weird person...

Oikawa pov

"Nothing, in particular reason. Oh, I have to meet my friends. See you next time! Don't ever trip or fall again!" I said to her and she laughing and waving to me.

This is bad. She's too cute! She's really like what the rumours said, a 'happy go lucky' person yet a bit clumsy. Ahh!! She's soo adorable and I think I like her or do I love her?

~ at the gym ~

"I am late! Iwa-chan and coach will surely mad at me!!" I ran to the gym and found the team is sitting in front of the coach and a girl standing beside him.

I walked to them slowly but the coach sees me first.

"Oikawa! You're late!" I gave him a broad smile and my eyes fall the girl next to him.

"Oh! (f/n)-san!" she grins.

"(y/n) is fine. I don't want any formal in my life"

"You two know each other, already?" the coach asked us.

"Just bumping to each other" she answers.

"Okay, let's get back to our discussion. (y/n) will be your manager for a month and I hope you will treat her better. I don't want to hear anything from her saying you guys bullied her or else!" wow! kind of like a protective father. We all nodded and take our time to talk with her.

"(y/n)! Come and sit here" I looked at Iwa-chan who talk casually with her. Did they know each other?

"You're really like what they say. So friendly and always smile" someone told her that and that makes her laughed.
"Thanks and I hope we can still be a friend even when I am not your manager anymore, right Oikawa, Iwaizumi?" we both look at her and nodded.
"Of course!" we both said at the same time makes she laughed.

She's so damn cute! I can't hold it anymore! I like her and I want her to be mine! I want her to smile only for me!

For the time she becomes our manager, she gave us encouragement, spirit, and happy environment and that makes me fall in her again and again. Sometimes she will trip over something and of course, I will always be her saviour. When she wants to bring some heavy load, I will help her even though she doesn't like it when I help her. She said that's her job, so just let her do it on her own. All the members know that I have a feeling to her due to my attitude but I still didn't know what's her feeling especially when they say she is clueless in love.

Today is the last day she becomes our manager. The members all said to me that I should confess to her today after practice.

"Tooru! Go and said to her! Be a man!" Issei told me.
"Yeah! Confess to her! You can do it!" Iwa-chan too.
"But...I am scared!"
"Nothing to be scared about! You showed everything to her and I am sure she knows it. Come on!" Iwa-chan told me and I am determined to myself, I will confess today!

~ after practice ~

"Thanks, guys. I really like being your manager for a month. I really hope I can be your manager until graduate but the coach didn't give me permission. Anyway, thanks guys especially Tooru and Iwaizumi, Arigatou" she smiled broadly.

Oh no, I can't hold back my feelings anymore.

I pull her hands to follow me to the back of the gym.

"I am sorry, but can you give me a sec?" she nodded.
"First, I want to thank you for being our precious manager even though just for a month and thanks for treated me like a friend not like how my fans treat me" she interrupts me with her laughed.

"(y/n), I..." my heart beating so hard right now.
"(y/n), I..." I can't say it.

"(y/n), I..." thump! thump! thump!

"It's nice to have a friend who treats you nicely, right?" I seized up hearing her statement.
"I haven't had a friend who is as hyper as you at the same time flirtatious and nice to me, you know?... It's nice having a friend like that" It pierced to my heart and it's hurt to know she just regards me as a friend. 
"Ye-Yeah, I guess so..." I look down to the floor.

"W-we will be friends forever! You and me, right?" And I will make sure someday you will love me like how I love you! That's my promised!

At the same time, third-person pov right after you declare to be a friend.

"Well, he got shot down," Hanamaki said. 
"He got cut off before he could even confess his love!" then Iwaizumi.

"And got told that they were just friend twice, there. It's hurt!" Yahaba said.

"That's just being like told, 'let's just be good friends' " then Watari said.

"She's too oblivious." Iwaizumi said.

"That poor guy" then suddenly their coach said.
"Coach!"

"It's too early to take my niece's heart. You have to work harder" all of them look at him.

"Niece?!" he grins and murmurs something.

"Good luck, Oikawa" he smiled and walk away to the car.
