"Arghhh! What's wrong with this guy? How can they hide their presence?!" you look through all the cases involving the mafia, especially the Karasuno gang. 
"(y/n), stop for a while. You've been looking at all of the cases for almost three days straight." you let out a frustrated sighed when your senior told you that.
"I am walking out for a while." you stood up and stretched a bit before walking out from your office.

You walked to the nearest convenience store and searched for your favourite milk drink. You smiled when you saw it because there is only one left. You reached for it and at the same time, there's someone else also reached for it. You looked at the person beside you and surprised to see someone who can give a chilled to you. His black hair adding his intimidating aura.

"Ah sorry, you can take it if you want" you offered to him and instantly regret it when he took your offer. He grabbed it and choose another bottle of milk and walked to the cashier. You let out a sighed and pouted.

"I want to drink it. I guess today is not my day" You grabbed a bottle of energy drink and some chocolate before walking to the cashier. When you paid for it, the cashier put another bottle for drinking into your plastic.
"That's not mine" the cashier smile at you.
"The guy before you told me to give this to you" you're surprised to hear that but immediately thanked the cashier. You walked out and tried to search for that guy, unfortunately, you don't see anyone else except you.

You took out the milk and smile. You open it and drink.

"Ahh! Totally refreshed me from my stress." 

~ On the other side ~

"Eh, where is your usual milk drink?" 
"Already sold out" 
"Eh~" 

A certain black hair guy looked out from his car to a certain girl drinking the milk. Little did he know, he let out a smile.

"Stop with that creepy smile," his partner said which makes him smacked his partner head.

~ Next day ~

"Senior, I will go to the place that we discuss yesterday, okay?" yesterday your team discussed the potential place for the gang to meet and you decided to check the most potential place. 
"Alone?" you nodded which makes your senior mad.
"Are you crazy? That's a gang place! What will you do if they're there and captured you?! It's dangerous!" 
"Then, what do you want me to do?" 
"I will come with you. Bring your gun too" you sighed and nodded.

Both of you go to the place and decided to separate and come back to the appointed place after two hours. You started with searching for every CCTV around the area. After numerous place you went, you decided to stop at the nearest convenience store to search for anything for you to drink.

"Ah! They have it here too!" You're happy to see your favourite milk drink also in here. You walked to the fridge and took it out. You walked to the cashier to pay it but the cashier said it's already being paid. 
"Eh? Who paid for this?" you asked the cashier and he pointed at the person outside and you recognized that person. The exact same person from yesterday. You grabbed the bottle and ran out to him.

"Excuse me, sir. Wait for a second" you gasped a bit after managed to stop him.
"Sir, may I asked you something?" he looked surprised but then he nodded.
"May I know why did you pay for my drink? Yesterday too" 
"I just want to" you're speechless for a while.
"W-Why?"

"I like seeing you smile" you blushed when you heard his direct reason, but you immediately gather yourself back.
"Thank you for paying it for me but I hope you will never do the same thing again" 
"Why?"
"I don't like to owe someone" you smiled at him and he nodded. 

"Anyway, may I know your name?" you asked him.
"Tobio. Your name?" you nodded.
"(y/n)" 
"Nice name" you chuckled before excuse yourself to continue your work.
"Meet again later" you waved at him which he waved back.

Kageyama's pov

"Kageyama! Where have you been?" Sugawara-san asked me as soon as I arrived at the gang place.
"I went to the conbi to buy milk" 
"Be careful. I heard that there's some detective walking around here" I nodded.
"They're the first one who can pinpoint our place. Quite impressive" Daichi, our leader said.

"Put that aside, we have a bigger problem than that. Seigaku gang told that if we don't go to the appointed place tonight, they will wreck up our place." Daichi slammed the table.
"They never let us rest for a day, right? Okay, tonight, let wreck them up instead" he continued with a scarily fierce face.
"Ohhhh!!!!"

I rolled up my sleeve and then I found something flicker. I brought it closer to my eyes and then I smiled and raised up.
"What's wrong with you Kageyama?" 
"Nothing, want some fresh air" I walked out from the building and smiled at the mini recorder which the other person can hear anything from me and maybe with a tracker in my hand. I am glad this is not our main building.

"(y/n). Is this your new way to know someone? Or should I call you, Detective (y/n)?" I chuckled.
"I am impressed. You are so good at doing your work." I continue talking, knew that the girl on the other side will hear this.
"Just to let you know, you're wrong about everything. So, start back from your starting point. Hope to see you again" I said before crushing the tracker with my own hand.

"Sugawara-san, I have some news" I walked to Sugawara and told him about everything. He glared at me at first, but then he smacked my head.
"Good work." I nodded.
"Kageyama" Sugawara called me before I can walk away.
"Did you perhaps like that girl?" I am speechless and my face showed that I am really surprised by his question. Before I can say anything, Sugawara smiled and pat my shoulder.
"I know now, but you have to know that both of you are in a different world"

Reader's pov

"Just to let you know, you're wrong about everything. So, start back from your starting point. Hope to see you again" that is the last thing you heard from the transmitter on Tobio. You put it on him when you grabbed him earlier. 

Your instinct is right. You keep on feeling that this guy has something big in his life and you got it right. He is one of the Karasuno gang, who you're searching for, but the thing he said stayed in your mind. What did he mean by I am wrong about everything?

You decided to look back all of the cases involving the Karasuno gang and by then you found something crucial. All of the cases were actually end up helping the police especially the cases your team handled. You looked back and saw that they always do something and by a few days, the case will be solved. You can't believe that you missed this. They actually did a good deed but at the same time, it's all illegal activities. 

"Tobio..." your heart's racing. You remembered that they will meet the Seigaku gang by this night and Seigaku gang is also one of the gangs that you guys want to arrest. You immediately searched for any cases related to Seigaku and try to pinpoint to the place that they will meet tonight. You want to go there and see by your own eyes. You told your team about our plan and your senior slapped your shoulder.

"Why you didn't discuss it with us?"
"I am right now" you stated the fact.
"I don't mean this but that-... Never mind. Let's bet on this plan. If it's true then we can win the jackpot, arresting the Seigaku but if not, we can keep trying another plan" all of your team nodded and get ready to go the place.

Along the way to the place, you keep on wishing that your instinct will be wrong and try to get another chance to arrest the Seigaku because right now your heart is conflicted regarding Karasuno. All of that because of that one guy, Tobio. Because of this, you knew actually that he already knew you for a long time.

When you arrived at the place, you saw people gathered and all of you recognized the gang leader of Seigaku, Ryousuke. All of your team looked at you.
"You're the best detective, (y/n)" you scratched your neck, covering your shyness. 

You looked at the crowded and saw that Karasuno gang still not arrived. You guess that your team arrived earlier than the time Seigaku and Karasuno gang supposed to meet. You told your leader that this is the time to arrest them because they seem to put down their guard and he agreed. He gave a signal to the squad and it begins.

The gang startled and tried to run but the whole area was already covered by the squad. It's a relieving that they didn't hold their weapon or it will be a nasty situation.
"It's the damn Karasuno, right?!" Ryousuke shouted and when his eyes met with yours, he smirked and ran to you after he pushing himself, and release from the squad's hand.
"You! The girl! You're the reason for this!" He pushed you to the ground but then someone punched him in the face which makes him stumbled down on the floor next to you.

"Don't touch her" your eyes widen when you saw Tobio in front of you.
"Sir, thanks for helping but please don't enter this place." your leader pushed him out from the yellow line. You sat there, still in shock but then you regain yourself and got up before running to Tobio. You heard your leader calling your name but you choose to ignore him for now. You searched for him and then you found someone walking away and you immediately know that person is Tobio.

"Tobio!" he stopped when you called him. You ran to him and stood in front of him.
"You're really good, (y/n)" 
"Huh?"
"You're good at catching bad guys, good at finding hints, good at connecting the clues and good at catching someone's heart" you blushed.
"Tobio, why did you help me?" you asked him, want a confirmation.

"Isn't it obvious?" he put his hand on your head and kiss your forehead.
"I know you for a few years ago. I like to see your determination's face and your happy face. But because of my background, I decided to just look at you from far and helped you in the shadow." then you saw his smile.
"(y/n), this will be our last meeting. I will never show my face in front of you again but trust me, I will always be with you, helping you whenever you need, okay?" he closed the distance between you and he kissed you on your lips, lasted for a few seconds.

"Bye, (y/n)" you just stand there, watching he walked away. You don't know what to do and how are your feelings, but one thing that you know is, both of you are impossible to be together.

"Bye, Tobio"
