You are silently eating your lunch at the rooftop when suddenly a voice calling your name filled up the silence.

"(y/n)! (y/n)! Help me!" you saw the pink-brown hair guy panting and you weirdly looking at him.
"Makki! What happened?" he raised his hand up asking you to wait for a while and when he calmed enough to say something, he looked at you.
"(y/n), please be my girlfriend?" your eyes widen and because of the shock, you stumbled and almost fall but Hanamaki pulled you before you can fall. But, maybe the pull is a bit hard, your body pulled to his body makes he hugged you. Both of you stopped from moving but after a while, you both wake up from the shock and pulling your body away from him.

"Sorry..." he said to you.
"It's okay. I should say thank you to you instead" you said and stopped for a while before clearing your throat.
"Ermm, Makki. About what you said before..." you looked at him and then he showed a face that he just realized what you mean by that.
"Ahh, about that. Actually, my mom asked me to bring my girlfriend to our house and as you know, I don't have any. That's why I want to ask you to be my girlfriend" you let out a relieved sigh when you heard his explanation.

"Ahh, so you want me to be your fake girlfriend? Sorry, Makki. I don't want to get a problem later" you refused to be his fake girlfriend. Actually you do have feelings for Hanamaki but you don't really show it and you refused because you're afraid that he will know your true feelings for him when he only thinks of you as his best friend.
"Please (y/n). Only you can help me. Please just until we meet my mom and then if you want to break up after that, we can think of some excuse to do that"

"Makki, I don't think this is the right way. Why don't you just tell your mom?" he shook his head.
"No way. She will never stop talking about this if I said that I don't have any girlfriend. (y/n), please. Trust me, you will feel like you're really my girlfriend from the moment you agree to this until we meet my mom" he begged you to agree with him and that makes you feel more anxious.
"That's the biggest reason I don't want to" you murmured it to yourself but Hanamaki heard you say something.

"What did you say?" he asked you makes you shook your head.
"Nothing! Nothing at all" you gave him a forced smile.
"So (y/n), can you?" you sighed and when you saw how determined he is, you sighed again and nodded.
"Okay, I agree" as soon as you agreed, he pulled you into his arms and hugged you.
"Thank you, (y/n). Thank you. I promised you, I will treat you well" you chuckled when you saw how happy he is.

"Okay okay. Let go of me now" then he let go of you and you continue eating your lunch.
"Can I eat with you?" you looked at him and nodded.
"Since when did you asked for something like this? If you want to eat with me then go ahead, you are my boyfriend anyway" he immediately sat beside you and little did you know, Hanamaki keeps on glancing at you and having a little blush on his cheeks.

Since that day, actually, since that particular time you agreed to be his girlfriend, you already feel the different treatment coming from Hanamaki. Before, you guys just having a casual talk and just having fun with the other classmate and his teammate but, this time he started to act differently. He will come close to you when he wants to say something, closer enough for you to feel his breath and he will give you compliments out of nowhere.

When he doesn't have any practice, he will take you out for a date. In fact every day he will do anything to have a date with you even at the rooftop. He makes you smile, laughing, and makes you feel like you are in love. He really treats you like a real girlfriend which sometimes, you don't know how to act in front of him.

Even your classmates and his teammates teased both of you, thinking that you guys really is a true couple instead of a fake one. After school, you will always go to the gym to see their practice and every time you come, Oikawa will come to flirt with you. Before this, you have to push him away from you knowing he just wants to tease you, but now Hanamaki himself will push Oikawa away from you, glaring at him giving a sign to stay away from his girlfriend.

"You know he just wants to tease us, right?" you said to him.
"Yes but I don't want anyone to flirt with my girlfriend" your heart doing some overtime job right now, because of his words. 'Please don't make me fall harder for you. It will be hard for me to break up later'
"Fake girlfriend" you state the truth to calm yourself but when you saw his face you feel weird. 'Why did he looked disappointed?'

Hanamaki's pov

"Fake girlfriend" I wake up from the dreams I have when (y/n) said the truth. Fake... How our relationship now is only a fake for a fake reason I made of. When I heard she said that, my heart sinks and realized that this happiness will go away soon. But I never know that the time will come so soon.
"Makki, when will we go meet your mom? It's been a while since the last time you asked me to be your girlfriend" I am speechless for a while before smiling at her.

"How about this weekend? My mom finally has some free time this weekend" she nodded.
"Okay, this weekend then."
"Hmm, this weekend" she looked around but me which I found it so cute. She never misses making me feel like a dumb guy smiling alone when I think about her smile, her nervousness, her laughing and how cute she is when she blushed.

"I will set the time later. I will come to take you this weekend, so just wait for me at your home, okay?" I said to her and she nodded.
"Okay, I will wait for you" I nodded and stood still beside her until I felt a hand taken ahold of the hem of my clothes.
"Don't you have to continue your practice?" she looked at me and make me realized that I still have the practice game.
"Oh yeah. I will go now. Wait for me, okay?" she smiled and nodded.

"Calm yourself, dude." I got mad at myself who looks dumb in front of the girl I like.
"What should I do if after meeting with my mom, she said that she wants to break up?" I ruffled my hair before concentrate myself to the practice.

~ Weekend, the day to meet Hanamaki's mom~

I feel really nervous today and I really don't want for this day to happen. I know I use this way to be her boyfriend for a while but now I want to be with her forever. I want her to be mine and I am hers.

"Why?!" I took a deep breath before I knock the door of (y/n)'s house. When I see that she is the one opening the door and how cute she is right now, I am holding myself from pulling her into my arms.
"Makki. Makki!" I smiled at her before laughing.
"Sorry, sorry. You're so cute right now makes me want to hold you and kiss you" she blushed hard when I said that.
"Makki!"

"Sorry sorry. Now, shall we?" she nodded and we started to walk to my house since the distance of our house is not that far, we can just walk and I took this chance to feel be her boyfriend for the last time.
"Are you nervous?" I asked her.
"Of course I am. Even though your mom knew me, she only knew me as your friend, not your girlfriend. What are we going to say after we break up later?" I weakly smiled when I heard her question.

"Why don't we just continue to be a lover?" I murmured it to myself.
"What?"
"No, nothing" I smiled before taking a hold of her hand and I know I will be missing this feeling after this. 'Why am I such a coward to straightforward say that I love her?'

~ Hanamaki's house ~

"(y/n)! You are his girlfriend?" my mom asked her as soon as she saw (y/n) is the one who is coming with me. She replied to her by nodding and a smile.
"Aww, come on dear. I am happy to see the friendship of you guys becomes more than that. I guess Takahiro confessed to you, right?" she looked at me and then smiled.
"Yes. I am totally shocked when he confessed to me. I thought that I am the only one who feels like that but when he confessed to me, I am really happy"

After that, we talked while eating the dinner my mom cooked for us and then my mom asked me to go to the living room, leaving (y/n) with her. I don't know what they talked to but when (y/n) walked to me, her face looks different.

"Makki, can we have a talk, right now?" I nodded and we walked to the veranda.
"Why did you lie about this?"

Reader pov

"Auntie, can I ask something?" you asked Hanamaki's mom the question that always in your mind. (Auntie here is for a woman that is older than you, in respect way to call her. It doesn't mean that person is related to you)
"Sure, dear"
"Why did you want to met with Makki's girlfriend?" Since you knew her, she never mentioned anything about the relationship and it makes you feel something is wrong when she wants to meet with Hanamaki's girlfriend.
"Eh, I never asked him to bring his girlfriend. He is the one who suddenly said that he wants to bring his girlfriend here. Did he told you that I want to meet you?" you shook your head.

"No, I am just asking." you smiled and while talking with her about a various thing and of course the main topic is about your relationship with her son, you think about why did he lie to you to be his fake girlfriend for some fake reason. 'Makki really like me or what?'

After that, you walked to Hanamaki and asked him.
"Why did you lie about this?" you saw how speechless is he when you asked him. After a while then, he said something.
"(y/n), I don't mean any harm. I just... I just..."
"You just?" he sighed.
"I just want to be your boyfriend but I am afraid that if I confess to you, you will reject me and we will lose our friendship. I love you (y/n), I really love you. Everything I did really comes from my heart. Trust me" your movement halted when you heard his confession. 'Oh my god! He really loves me! All the things he did is true and most of all, my love is not unrequited'

"Makki, let's break up." you said to him while making sure that your face is not showing any happy expression.
"(y/n)... Can we just..."
"Let's break up" you still with your words and when you saw how hurt he is from your words, you placed your hands on his cheeks to make him look at you and smiled.

"Let's break this fake relationship and start a real relationship, okay?" his eyes widen and then he hugged you.
"(y/n)! Thank you. I really love you." you chuckled and hugged him back.
"I love you too"

The second update for today is done! I am on fire! Yeah! Okay just kidding, it just a sudden plot coming to my mind for Hanamaki and I do have some free time today, so why not? Anyway, for the other requester, I hope you guys can wait for a while for your story to be updated. Don't worry, I will update it.
