Today was a terrible day for you so much made you upset. The last thing you needed was to go to Volleyball practice to be around your over protective brother who keeps you away from your crush. That's right your crush is Yamaguchi Tadashi the one and only shy adorable freckled #12. He's so precious and sweet how can you not like him.

I'm not a part of the team sadly since my stupid big brother won't let me be manager cuz its "too difficult". "(Y/N) your 2 minutes late what took you so long to get here? The gym isn't that far from your classroom so explain your self." Nishinoya blurted while crossing his arms and tapping his foot repeatedly. You look up at him cuz he's taller than you are and tell him the truth. "I just had a terrible day ok so I didn't rush to get here." You look down at the ground pouting then felt your body being embraced.

It was your brother. "What are you doing Noya?" You asked. "I'm sorry you had a tough day how about on our way home I'll buy you some ice cream and you can tell me all about it?" You nod and give him a small smile. He goes back to warming up and you sit on the bench. You watched the boys play but mostly you were watching Yamaguchi. Hinata and Kageyama are arguing again, oh no. You take out your phone at an attempt to block out their argument and didn't notice a volleyball coming straight your way.

"(Y/N) look out!" Nishinoya shouted. You saw the ball coming your way and quickly and cover your face waiting for the powerful impact of the ball but instead heard a loud smack sound. You look up and blush. "Yamaguchi!?" You panic and he turns around to look at you with his face half red from the ball. He looks at you shyly and worried then says, "you ok, your not hurt right!?" "I'm fine thank you." You reply looking away to hide your blush.

Nishinoya comes over to you running and examines you. "Noya I'm fine" you say calmly. "You better be ok, if your fine then help Yamaguchi patch up at the nurse's office." Nishinoya being your over protective brother he didn't want to send you with Yamaguchi but everyone else needed to practice and you were the only one who isn't on the team since he didn't let you be assistant manager.

You nod while blushing slightly and walk with Yamaguchi to the nurse. The whole walk there was awkward and quiet. Once you got to the nurse you told him to lay down as you wen to get an icepack and some bandages. "Here I got you an icepack to help calm the swelling." You place the ice pack on his right cheek. "T-thanks (Y-Y/N)-Chan I'm just glad your o-ok." He stuttered cutely.

"Hey Yamaguchi...uh..um why did you...take the hit for me?" You asked trying not to stutter. He blushed and took a deep breath. "B-because I-I like you (Y/N) I really like you from the moment you first approached me and helped me that day. You were so kind and didn't treat me like I'm weak like other people do, you believed in me.

He continued and for the first time someone had confessed to you while looking you in the eye. When he was done he looked you dead in the eyes with a serious and blushing face. He hugged you tightly yet gently. "Will you b-be my g-girlfriend?" He blurted out while he kept hugging you. You hug him back with tears in your eyes and say, "Yes! Yes one million times yes!" He smiles and cups your cheek "let's go back to practice I bet Nishinoya is pacing around the court." He chuckles and gets off the bed. You smile and nod.

He holds your hand and you both walk to the gym. "How are you going to tell your brother?" Yamaguchi asked. "I'm not sure maybe after I buy him some gari gari kuns or maybe some pork buns so he will be in a good mood." You lean your head on his shoulder and enter the gym. Nishinoya comes running towards you but immediately stops in his tracks and looks at you and Yamaguchi holding hands and your head on his shoulder.

THUMP. Nishinoya passed out at the sight of his little sister holding hands with the boy he tried so hard to keep her away from. Tanaka panics and goes to his bro's rescue. "DONT YOU DARE DIE ON ME!" The rest of the team tried not to burst out laughing. You laugh and go help your brother up then yell towards Asahi to serve a ball. Poor confused Asahi slowly walks to the other side of the net and serves the ball.

While the ball is still in the air everyone realized your plan then backed away from Nishinoya. Suddenly Noya's eyes opened and he got to his feet quickly "ROLLING THUNDER!" Everyone facepalmed at Nishinoya's libero instinct. You walk over to him and hug him with a smile. "Time to go home nii-chan." You let him get his stuff and you walk to Yamaguchi. "Seems like he took the news well."

Yamaguchi laughs and puts his forehead to yours while squatting down since your much shorter than him. Your shorter than Nishinoya by only a bit so Yamaguchi is a giant to you. "I love your freckles." You say with your forehead still on his. Yamaguchi's eyes widen in shock.

"Thank you (Y/N) your the first person to say that since I was always picked on because of my looks" he hugs you gently and pulls back. "That's because they were jealous of your adorable freckles." You smile at him and suddenly were pulled away from him by Nishinoya. "Time to go(Y/N)!" He drags you out of the gym and away from Yamaguchi. "Wait nii-chan I forgot my backpack!" You run into the gym and hug Yamaguchi. "See ya tomorrow!" With that you kiss his cheek and run out of the gym.

THUMP! "Now him?" Tsukishima sighs and tries to wake him up.

"Where's your backpack?" Nishinoya asks. "I didn't bring it to school today" you snicker. Noya pops a vein "No ice cream for you today! You only went into the gym for Yamaguchi huh!?" You pout and cross your arms. "Fine!"

"If he wants to date my little sister he has to deal with me first." Noya muttered. You pull his ear and say, "he's not like the others ok he actually looked me in the eye as he confessed the rest didn't even try ok!" "Ow ow ow ow ow OWWW ok ok fine!" You let go of his ear and go into the store to buy pork buns and ice cream for the both of you. "This is my thanks." You hand him some pork buns and ice cream. "Maybe he isn't such a bad guy for you after all." Nishinoya says after biting into his pork bun.
