tsukishima x yamaguchi | ice cream date

It was only intended for it to be awkward between Tsukishima and Yamaguchi when they started going out, they had no idea what to do since they had never had girlfriend let alone a boyfriend. But they cared deeply for each other and you could see that through their awkwardness...well, sorta.

"Tsukki!" Yamaguchi called, running up to the megane who was walking out of the school gates. Tsukishima turned to the person who was calling his name but he should've known it was Yamaguchi; who else calls him Tsukki?

"Yamaguchi..." He trailed off as the boy stopped in front of him and started to pant from his sprinting. "Will-pant-you-pant-go-pant-on a-pant- date with me?!" Tadashi said through a chorus of pants, looking up into his boyfriend's hazel eyes.

"Okay." Then the tall boy began walking away with Yamaguchi running to catch up before falling in step with him. "Where would you like to go?" Tsukki asked as his fingers found Tadashi's. Yamaguchi couldn't help but blush; this affection was so unlike Tsukki but only Yamaguchi knew that Tsukki was different when he was alone.

"Uh-how about that ice cream parlour?!" Yamaguchi pointed towards the quaint parlour which was on the corner of the street. "Sure, my treat." Tsukki said, leading the pinch server towards the pastel building.

Inside was very cute like any other ice cream parlour you'd find on the street. The couple stood in front of the glass as they peered down to wonder about all the ice cream flavours below them. "Waah! I can't decide!" Yamaguchi exclaimed, his breathe fogging up the glass as he leaned closer.

Tsukishima thought it was so adorable but he would never admit that. "I want strawberry." Yamaguchi smiled and sighed. "Of course!"

"How can I help you?" A bubbly girl asked, eyeing Tsukishima a bit which made Yamaguchi self conscious. "One strawberry." Tsukki looked down at his freckled boyfriend who was staring at ice cream flavours still but without the gorgeous smile that adorned his face before.

"Just get me vanilla, please." He whispered and Tsukki simply nodded before placing their orders and paying for the ice cream and then finding a booth where Yamaguchi was waiting at.

"Here." He slid the cup of velvety vanilla towards Tadashi before tasting his strawberry treat. But it was bothering him, Yamaguchi had gone from being happy to sad in a matter of seconds and Tsukishima didn't understand why.

Sighing, he placed his spoon down, "What's wrong?" Yamaguchi looked up at him and tried to smile but Kei wasn't having it.

"I feel like you pitied me and you only dated me because you felt sorry for me." The pinch server whispered, looking at his hands that were placed in his lap. "Tadashi..." Yamaguchi looked up as Tsukki said his name.

"I don't pity you, I'm dating you out of my own will. I like you." He said sheepishly, fixing his glasses as the freckled boy blushed. "Thanks Tsukki." Yamaguchi says, smiling at his boyfriend who puts a spoon in his mouth, leaving strawberry ice cream above his lip.

"Kei." Tadashi brought a napkin to the middle blockers face before brushing his lips against Tsukki's, kissing away the ice cream and leaving the two flustered.

"Tch, if you wanted to kiss you could've said so."

"Tsukki!"
