"Hey (f/n)-chan! On a rate from 1-10, you'd be a 9 and I'm the 1 you need!" Bokuto shouted out to you as you giggled. No, this wasn't a confession of any sort. In actually fact, it was game you and Bokuto played, you'd see who came up with the best pick up lines.

Nobody understood this, you guys weren't even dating! That didn't stop the two of you, it was fun and people really thought it was weird; especially Akaashi who was usually a witness to these pick up lines.

"Bokuto! My doctor said I'm lacking vitamin U!" You yelled when you saw him walk to the gym, he sent you a wink and a thumbs up, Akaashi was beside him and sighed deeply. Please, just end.

"They say I'm like coffee," Bokuto said, leaning on you during lunch with Akaashi beside him. He was trying eat his delicious food, being the glutton he was. "Because I grind so fine." You laughed and Akaashi inwardly cringed.

Your face came dangerously close to his, a smirk plastered on your face. "Can I punch you in the face...with my lips?" You wriggled your eyebrows as you both started laughing hard. Akaashi had already left

"Are you the tide? Because you swept me away." You said seductively, giving him a wink as Bokuto laughed.

"That was a good one!" He said, you nodded with a quick thank you as he brought out the one he had rehearsed last night. "We're not socks, but I think we'd make a great pair."

The both of you bursted out laughing, slapping each other hard on the back as Akaashi watched. How were these even funny?! The setter thought to himself as he yet again, disappeared from the cringe worthy sight.

"Bokuto-san," Akaashi approached the captain after practice. "What is going on between you and (l/n)-san?" This made Bokuto jump and fidget, he didn't expect anyone to ask that especially Akaashi, to everyone else; it looked they were just joining around but Akaashi probably worked it out.

"Well," Bokuto scratched his head nervously before blushing. "I really really like (f/n)-chan but-"

"You use pick up lines on her so often she'd never be able to work out if you mean it or not." The pretty setter said, hand on his hip and raising an eyebrows at the owl.

"Exactly! And also-"

"You've used every single cheesy pick up line in the world, think of something original, Bokuto-san." And with that, Akaashi had left the gym with Bokuto yelling at his retreating figure.

"Don't be so blunt about it!"
