Hello everyone! This is your retarded author speaking! Let me welcome you to another session of Haikyuu interviews with our very own, IceMeringue-san! ^-^ here she shared her thoughts and opinions on our favorite volleyball anime series! :D

Retardedinpajamas: First question, your stories "The Hate Game" and "Every King Needs a Queen" are both fan fictions about setters, Oikawa and Kageyama, are they your favorite characters of the series?

IceMeringue: Well I'd say that they are along with everyone else. I mean, everyone is so lovable in Haikyuu!! But if I had to say, I'd place Oikawa as my favourite and then Iwa-chan. Kageyama would be third but really I love them all.

Retardedinpajamas: I see! I gotta agree with that! ^-^ Next question, do you read the manga? If so, what are the parts that you are excited to see animated?

IceMeringue: Yep I read the manga. It's so precious. I really want to see Yachi in the anime. Her relationship with HInata and Yamaguchi and everyone, I can't wait XD. I ship Yamaguchi and Yachi so I really want to see all their cute moments in the anime. Maybe I'm imagining it but in the manga I swear that Yamaguchi has a crush on her. Well this answer has just become me talking about how much I want Yamaguchi and Yachi to be together but yeah, I'm really excited to see Yachi.

Retardedinpajamas: Yachi >u< For a second there I thought you'd be shipping her with Hinata xD Lol, but I did have a hunch about Yamaguchi ;) Anyways, what's your favorite match in Haikyuu so far? :D What teams made you so excited during their battle?

IceMeringue: I don't want to say it because spoilers but the latest match in the manga was my favorite. My heart broke when one of the teams lost {well duh, one team has to lose}. I'm saying who because that will spoil it. But I really like how Furudate Haruichi makes us go for both teams.

Other than the latest match in the manga, I really like the first match when Hinata and Kageyama played against each other for the first time in middle school. It was so realistic and also heartbreaking for Hinata to lose and I'm really glad that we got to understand Hinata. I felt like crying with him when he lost and I felt this match was really important as the start of the series.

Retardedinpajamas: Well said Ice-sana TT^TT I wanted to hug bby Hinata too <3 <3 What's so special about Haikyuu, for you?:)

IceMeringue: The relationships; definitely the relationships and also the way that volleyball is displayed so passionately.  To me, the relationships between characters make Haikyuu!! really really special and that's because you get to know each character, their story and then their friendships. Kageyama and HInata, Asahi and Nishinoya, Oikawa and Iwa-chan, Kuroo and Kenma, they're all so moving and amazing.

Volleyball is something that I considered just another sport until I read Haikyuu and now I love it so much even though I hardly play it. I really want to play it as a sport and the way that Haikyuu describes volleyball and shows it is amazing. It's so inspirational to see the characters that you get to know playing a sport that is shown in a way that makes you want to play it. I'm not really making sense but Haikyuu shows just how amazing volleyball is and that's why I like it.

Retardedinpajamas: Wow, just wow. o_o The way you explained it is so beautiful QAQ *wipes*

Next question, which character still remains mysterious to you and you want to know more about him(or her)?

IceMeringue: Hmm well I would like to know more about the characters on the other teams {Nekoma, Aoba Johsai, Dateko, Fukurodani} and I mean people besides the captains and their best friend sort of thing. People like Kindaichi (turnip head), Kunimi, Morisuke and everyone.

Retardedinpajamas: I see o-o Do you like dislike some characters in the series? And let me know your thoughts about the Little Giant! (he's the most mysterious person xD)

IceMeringue: Well at first I kind of disliked Kiyoko but once I got to know her, I started to like her. Other than that, I love them all. About the Little Giant, my theory is that it's Takeda. I know Takeda was saying he didn't know anything about volleyball at the beginning but he could have just been pretending and their hair is so similar. If it is Takeda, I'm really interested to know why he is hiding the fact the he his the Little Giant but if he's not, I really want to know who the Little Giant is. I also want Hinata to meet the Little Giant and see his reaction.

Retardedinpajamas: Ah that theory... Furudate-san knows how to get us intrigued! Anyway, let's talk about the anime -- last episodes on Saturday/Sunday (dem timezones) //le cries//

Pls do Comment your reaction on the anime and it's nearing end

IceMeringue: Well, I just really really want a season two. When you read the manga it's amazing but the anime, they're colored and moving and talking!! IT's the best thing ever. I really don't want it to end but at the same time I want to watch the last episode. Like I said before, I'm just hoping for another season. And if there isn't, I'll probably cry, and then get over it because I'll still have the manga.

Retardedinpajamas: Let's pray that it does get a 2nd season~! ^-^ Okay, last questions, can you tell us about your future books/stories? Who do you plan on making a fan fiction about? :)

IceMeringue: I would like to do an AU fanfiction or a fanfiction about two characters from Haikyuu, probably Kenma and Kuroo, Yamaguchi and Yachi or OIkawa and Iwa-chan. I want to do an AU because a lot of the stories on wattpad are romance (not that's there's anything wrong with that) and I want to do something different.

Retardedinpajamas: We'll look forward to that! :D We need more AU stories! Anyways, to end your interview, may I ask a message for your readers/fans/supporters out there? :)

IceMeringue: Well to everyone, let me just say that I'm so grateful for you reading my stories, commenting and voting. It makes writing so much better and it helps me to understand the characters. You guys really support me and inspire me so much. You are all amazing. It really is the most wonderful feeling when you guys support me and you are the best people ever! I love you just as much as the characters from Haikyuu and that's saying a lot. SO thank you again~!!!!
