Levee_Ayzis: For October's article @Levee_Ayzis and @itsameee have decided to make a joint interview with the amazing @ackermans_, the author of "Glass Hearts"!

Question number 1!

How were you first introduced to the Haikyuu!! series?

ackermans_: My Wattpad friend, Kathleen. She was the one to get me into anime, and was always the one to recommend anime to me at first. She started watching Haikyuu!! and then came to me, telling me how much she loved it. This got me into the, and from the first episode, I fell in love with it and it quickly became one of my favourites!

itsameee: Amazing! Well, what part from the first episode really stood out to you?

ackermans_: Definitely Hinata's spirit and passion for volleyball. His positivity and will to keep going even when Kitagawa Daiichi was thoroughly defeating them instantly made me love him as a character. Also, Kageyama struck me as a very intimidating character in the beginning! xD

itsameee: I must admit, that first episode was really intense too! It made me want to rejoin my school's volleyball club. But then again moving on... What inspired or encouraged you to write a Haikyuu!! Fanfiction?

ackermans_: Well, I fell so in love with the characters and the story, I knew that I wanted to write a fan fiction. A few days later, I was struck with inspiration, and knew that this was something I desperately wanted to write.

Levee_Ayzis: Which of the characters was the first one to catch your attention and why?

ackermans_: Well, it had to be Kageyama. His intimidating appearance in that first episode made it hard for me to overlook and not focus on him. Not to mention that he was yelling all the time in that first episode xD

itsameee: Hahahaha! Kageyama does seem like such a prickly person! :)

Levee_Ayzis: That's true, Kageyama's a ..loud kid xD For the next question, how do you think, which Haikyuu character resembles you the most and why? c:

ackermans_: Either Asahi or Sugawara. I could relate to both characters - I'm spooked easily, and am rather sensitive at times, like Asahi, but I guess I'm also like Suga since people tell me I'm always looking out for others and encouraging them ~

Levee_Ayzis: Aaaw that's a wonderful trait! Even from here I can tell you're a great person c: Another question regarding the cast! So who do you think would be your.. a) best friend, and b) a crush

 itsameee: Oooh, steamy~

 ackermans_: Aw, thanks, you're both really great, too! Well, for my best friend… I'd say Suga. He's just the sort of person you can imagine getting close to easily and just hang out with, not to mention he's so kind and caring. And as for my crush, well, it's Asahi. He's been my favourite ever since the first episode he made an appearance!

 Levee_Ayzis: Sugawara and you really do seem like you'd get along really well! As for Asahi, he's just plain fabulous!~

 ackermans_: He does, doesn't he? And yeah, Asahi is wonderful, though I sometimes feels like the only Asahi fangirl out there xD

 Levee_Ayzis: What do you like the most in the series? And is there anything you'd like to change?

 ackermans_: What I love most about the series, is definitely the friendship and bonds between our wonderful team from Karasuno. The way they just keep doing all they can to encourage and comfort and help each other out all the time just makes me smile, and their resilience to keep going and keep improving never fails to amaze me, either. And honestly, I don't think there's anything I would change about the series, it's so wonderful as it is c:

itsameee: You seem to really like Asahi, don't you? Are there any ways this character has affected you? Emotionally, mentally, or even physically? :)

 ackermans_: Lol yeah, I do! And I guess, the episode where he scored the winning point against Dateko, it just made me grin and completely fangirl, because he had overcome this obstacle he'd been facing and made him quit volleyball. I guess that, in a way, has encouraged me to keep going no matter the difficulty, since I feel I can really relate to him.

 Levee_Ayzis: That was a huge development in Asahi's character and I think that it has made him stronger than he has ever been! ^^ For the next question, would you be willing to write another Haikyuu!! fan fiction once you'll have completed Glass Hearts?

 ackermans_: It was, I was so happy for him :D And yeah, definitely! I actually have two other Haikyuu!! fan fics planned - one for Nishinoya, and the other for Oikawa xD

 Levee_Ayzis: Woah! We'll be looking forward to reading those, then!

 itsameee: Lastly, is there anything you want to say to your readers? :)

 ackermans_: Just, I want to thank everyone for reading and supporting me throughout my writing. You guys are the ones who keep giving me the encouragement to keep writing, it really means a lot to me - you guys are the best :)
