This is a quote by Hinata who was trying to improve on his receives so he could get a toss from Kageyama. He practiced with Sugawara during breaks and talked to him about his middle school days when he was training with whatever was available.

 I would say this is my next favorite quote. After all, friends and teammates are different in a way. You may be friends with the people on your team, but they're not truly teammates if you don't have a bond with them. In my experience, I had two of my teammates who I've played with since middle school and consider them my teammates, but then something tragic happens. Suddenly, they're kicked off the team due to certain circumstances and everyone was devastated. Sure, a friend would be sad to let them go, but knowing a teammate was taken out, it was as if there was a hole in the team. Sure, we had replacements, but it just wasn’t the same especially since I've been with the original team for so long and this is my last year.

 Friends joke around and stuff, but so do teammates. However, with those teammates, you can relate to each other when it comes to playing. Just by playing with them, you get this elated feeling coursing through your body. You just know when you have a teammate when you're truly comfortable with someone.
