"Yo, {LastName}. Do you like anyone?" Asks your best friend Tanaka as he takes a big bite of his lunch. You nearly choke on your drink as you hear his sudden words. He leans over and pats your back so that you don't die and you finally catch your breath. He sits back down in front of your desk and leans back, dying with laughter. He claps his hands like a seal and earns glances from your classmates. "Oi! You nearly killed me!" You say as you lean over to slap him on the arm.

You look into his dark brown eyes and blush. You did like somebody, and he was right in front of you. Yes, you really liked Tanaka Ryunosuke. He raises a brow as you continue to stare at him with a red face that seemed to get redder, and redder by the second. You look down at your lunch and nod silently.

He frowns and sighs. "Who? Do I know him?" He asks as he rests his elbows on the table, placing his cheeks on top of his palms. You nod again, you were far too embarrassed to talk right now. First you almost choke in front of him, and now you were low key confessing your feelings to him. "Eh, I do?" He asks.

You nod again for the third time and he frowns, again. "Yeah, you know him" you mumble as you take a small bite of your food. "Oh... I see" he responds. For some reason his usual loud and bright personality seemed to go away instantly ever since he brought up this topic.

"Can you describe him?" He asked. "Try to give me at least 5 things" He figured that if you describe the guy you like well enough, he'd be able to figure out who this guy was. "Y-Yeah okay, I'll try my best" you answered.

"He's a third year, plays volleyball, has a scary pissed off face, bad temper, likes to be called senpai by his kōhai's..." You counted your fingers as you tried to describe Tanaka to Tanaka. You tried not to be too obvious since he might figure it out.

He scratched his head and furrowed his eyebrows. "Ah! I got it!" He says as he hits his hand with a fist. "Nishinoya?" He asked making you face palm. Never mind, he wouldn't figure it out. He's an idiot. "No stupid!" You yelled as you punched his head, causing him to hold his head in pain. "Oi! You're gonna make me dumb!" He cries out in pain.

"Ya already are, dummy!" You retort as you stick your tongue out at him. "I also want to add that he's an idiot, baldy, and has a stupid face" you huff making him even more confused. He still couldn't figure out who he was.

"Anyways, enough about me. Do you... You know, like anyone?" You ask as you play with your hair out of habit. He gives you a wide grin and nods frantically. "Yup!" He responds cheerfully. "But I don't think she likes me back, she likes someone else" he sulks.

"Oh, I see..." You respond, you could feel your heart hurt. You really hoped the girl rejected him so that you could have him. "Do I know her?" You ask. He blushes harder and avoids your eyes. "Y-Yeah" he stutters.

"Can you describe her?" You asked, doing the same thing he did to you. Light pink dusts his cheeks in embarrassment. "Uhm, she's pretty, hits me a lot, she's shorter than me, kind, has a bad temper, really cute, (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes... Aha, this is embarrassing" he says with a light chuckle.

You think about the things he said but nobody comes to mind. "Ehh, I don't know who she is" you say with a sigh. "my brain hurts from all this thinking" you say as you ruffle your hair in annoyance.

From a distance, Sugawara and Daichi listen to your conversation and both sigh at the two idiots describing each other. "They're so clueless" says Daichi with a sigh. Sugawara nods in agreement "I'm going to help them out" says Sugawara as he puts his chopsticks down and gets up. He walks over to the two of you and you spot him.

"Yo, Sugawara" you say as you wave at him. He smiles and puts his hands on the desk in front of you and Tanaka. "You know, I couldn't help but hear your conversation" starts Sugawara making you and Tanaka blush slightly.

"Tanaka, the girl you like sounds a lot like {LastName}." He says as he looks at him, making your face heat up even more. "E-Eh?" You stutter.

"And {LastName}, the guy you described sounds a lot like Tanaka" he says as he makes eye contact with you. A bright smile creeps onto his face and he jumps up in excitement. Fist pumping the air. Sugawara chuckles and leaves the two of you alone and goes back to finish his meal with Daichi.

"YOSH! is that true?!" He asks excitedly making you nod slowly. "Y-Yeah, I like you dummy" you stutter. "I like you too, stupid" he says cheerfully.

"I'm not an idiot, how did you not figure it out? I literally described you" you say as you puff your cheeks out. He glares down at you. "Hah? You did the same thing, stupid" he says.

You go on your tippy toes and glare at him. "Clear your schedule for tomorrow, I'm taking you out on a d-date." He says making you blush. You notice that everyone is staring at you both and you punch him in the stomach, making him double over in pain. "H-Hurts!" He wheezed.

"Don't tell me what to do." You say and you lean in to kiss him on the lips quickly now that he was down to your level. His eyes widen in shock and you cover your mouth with the back of your hand. "See you tomorrow, R-Ryū" you say, he blushes harder as he hears his name roll off your lips. He felt his heart speed up. He loved the way you said his first name. He wanted to record it.

He nods and you run away with a red face as the lunch bell rings, signalling that lunch was over.

Nishinoya shows up to class before the teacher walks in and helps his friend up. "Yo! Tanaka, did you ask her out yet?" He asks since he saw you leave with a red face. Tanaka nods and allows his friend to help him up.

"Yeah" he says as he clutches his stomach, you punched really hard. Nishinoya smiles happily

"YEAH TANAKAAAA!" he yells excitedly as they fist bump.
