Playdate - Hinata/Yachi
Regressors: Yachi, Hinata
Caregivers: Kiyoko, Akaashi, Bokuto
Bokuto sighed quietly, staring at the scene in front of him. Hinata was giggling and rocking back and forth, holding his favorite stuffed lion. "I tooted!"
Akaashi walked in and looked around. "He farted?"
"Tooted!" Hinata insisted.
"Okay. Tooted." Akaashi sat with Bokuto. "What's wrong?"
"I swear he's gonna teach Yachi bad words."
"Yachi is a sweet girl. She knows better." Akaashi kissed his cheek. "Don't worry."
Hinata crawled over and pat Bokuto's knee. "Daddy?"
"Yeah bud?"
Hinata put his arms up. "Huggie?"
"Of course!" Bokuto lifted him and hugged him close. "How about you hug Papa too?"
Hinata grabbed for Akaashi. Akaashi kissed his cheek, smiling. "Oh hello sweet boy! What are we gonna do?"
"Chomp!"
"No!" Bokuto hurried. "We can chew on toys and Daddy's fingers but not Yachi. No sir."
Hinata whined. "Is not mean!"
Akaashi sighed. "It is though. No biting."
"Whateva!" Hinata clung to the couch before climbing onto it.
Akaashi caught him. "Can you sit with Daddy and behave while I go get Yachi from her nap with her Mommy?"
"Yeah!" Hinata waved to his caregiver and Bokuto bounced him on one knee. When Hinata was only a toddler he was quite loud and energetic, wanting to touch and bite and shout. Bokuto gave him a teething ring and held him still as he was bounced. "Bah! Bah! Bah! Bah!"
Akaashi walked in, carrying a confused Yachi. Sleep was still in her eyes and she looked tired. Kiyoko smiled at her little girl, rubbing her hair. "You okay angel?"
Yachi whined softly. She reached out. "Want Mommy..."
Kiyoko gently took her and kissed her hair. "Are you too tired to play sweetheart?"
"Jus seepy."
Hinata giggled and reached up. "Snuggle princess!"
Kiyoko shook her head. "Princess will get fussy if I put her down now. Give her a few minutes." Kiyoko sat down and rubbed Yachi's back. Yachi nuzzled Kiyoko's neck.
"Mama."
"Hm?"
"Need pee pee."
Kiyoko walked to the bathroom and helped her out. When they came back Yachi was holding Kiyoko's hand, sweet as ever. Kiyoko sat her on the playmat and Hinata hurried to her. He hugged her tight, giggling. "Princess!"
Yachi blushed, holding her hands to her chest. "No touch... please."
Akaashi leaned down and held Hinata's hand. "Bubble."
Hinata backed up. He stared, confused. "Did wrong?"
"No, no. Don't touch Yachi right now. Princess doesn't want to be touched."
Hinata nodded. He picked up a stuffed bunny and held it out. "For Princess?"
Yachi gently took it and sort of closed up, staring at everyone. She whined softly. "Mommy."
Kiyoko leaned down and Yachi clung to her caregiver. "What's wrong?"
"Is just so... dunno." Yachi cuddled up tighter. "Want to hug Sho but feels icky."
"Icky?"
"Mhmm."
Bokuto's eyes widened. He picked up Hinata and set him on the couch. "Stay."
Akaashi's eyes widened as he heard Bokuto's whisper in his ear. "Kiyoko, check her diaper."
Kiyoko leaned Yachi forward and checked. Her eyes widened. "Does your tummy hurt princess?" Yachi nodded.
"Have milk?"
"Oh goodness yes baby."
Akaashi leaned down and touched her hair, smiling. "Do you want angel milk?"
"Yes sir..."
"I love your manners Princess. Hinata, do you want to be my helper?"
"Yeah!" Hinata hurried after Akaashi in his onesie, giggling.
Bokuto leaned down and got a large blanket. He texted Akaashi to make sure he would get some sort of medicine for Yachi and just sort of helped comfort her. Yachi was shifted in Kiyoko's arms and her stomach was rubbed carefully.
Hinata stumbled in and gave the bottle to Kiyoko. "What's wrong with Princess?"
"She just doesn't feel good." Kiyoko eased the bottle past Yachi's lips and tilted it back, rocking her. "Isn't that right sweetheart?"
Yachi nodded and suckled harder.
"Oh, oh slow down you're going to choke." Kiyoko warned.
Yachi slowed down and just relaxed. She looked around and smiled around her bottle, holding it close. "Snuggle Sho?"
Kiyoko eased her onto a pillow and Hinata waited. Bokuto smiled at him. "Good boy Shoyo. Go ahead and snuggle princess."
Hinata leaned down and hugged Yachi, silent. Why was everyone so worried about Princess? What was wrong with princess? "Princess okay?"
Yachi pointed to her stomach. "Ouchy."
"Tummy?" Hinata questioned.
"Mhmm." Yachi huddled up to Hinata, whining softly. Hinata pat her back.
"No more hurt."
Kiyoko smiled. "Thank you for being sweet lovely boy."
Bokuto smiled as Hinata blushed. Pretty ladies always made him flustered and it was adorable. Even Akaashi with makeup on made him nervous.
Akaashi leaned down, playing with Hinata's hair. "What do you say bubba?"
"Thank you..."
"Good job.
Kiyoko kissed Yachi's hair. "Mommy has to go now okay?"
Yachi immediately sat up and her eyes started to water. "Mommy! Mommy no! No mommy!"
"Princess I need to get going."
Yachi started to cry. "My mommy! My mommy! No go mommy!"
Hinata hugged Yachi tightly. "Miss Ko isn't gonna leave us all alone! I got Princess!"
Kiyoko hugged both of them, her heart breaking by the sobs from her baby girl. "I love you. I promise it won't be long."
Yachi started to get more upset but was presented with a little unicorn stuffed animal and pacifier.
"Mommy will be back for snack time, yeah? Can we behave until snack time for mommy?"
Yachi nodded, her face streaked with tears. "L-love mommy."
"Mommy loves you sweet girl." Kiyoko kissed her cheek and left, meaning as soon as Yachi heard the door close she went into a fit of crying again.
Bokuto lifted her up and rocked her, rubbing her back. "Oh I know Princess. I know. There's nothing to be scared of at Bo's house though, right? I'll keep you safe. Wanna watch something until mommy gets back?"
Yachi knocked the remote from Bokuto's hand, kicking and sobbing. Hinata covered his ears, brows furrowed. "Papa?"
Akaashi put Hinata's headphones on him. "It's okay Bubba. Princess just isn't used to being left for play dates yet. Let Daddy calm her down, okay?"
Hinata nodded and quietly played cars with Akaashi until Bokuto came back with Yachi swaddled. Yachi was fast asleep and suckling on her pacifier, comfortable in Bokuto's arms.
Akaashi smiled lovingly at Bokuto, who was so careful. "How did it go?"
"She bit me," Bokuto stated. He showed his thumb and chuckled. "But she's okay now. Poor thing nearly messed herself."
Hinata looked up. He smiled. "Hi Daddy."
"Hello little guy. Wanna come up here and snuggle with Princess and Papa?"
Hinata looked back to Akaashi. "Papa?"
Akaashi helped Hinata to the couch and leaned into Bokuto. He kissed his jaw and laid Hinata down on his chest. "Thank you."
"No problem. Hopefully the next play date gets better?"
"Yeah."
