- if you did tell him why, he still wouldn't understand but he would try to explain the question to you (if he could solve it too in the first place) and/or he would comfort you by hugging you from behind, on the floor.

- you explained that its been hours and you STILL don't understand what the question was asking for, and was already at the brink of giving up.

- he suddenly has this sudden burst of confidence running through him

"I believe in you! You can do it! Everyone has their ups and downs! And if you fall, just get back up!"

- He suddenly felt all that confidence leave him and instead embarrassment took its place.

- little did he know, his short motivational speech actually made you feel better. :)
