Kageyama walked out of the clubroom after Hinata, only to find his tiny boyfriend frozen in a funny pose and staring at the floor.

"What is it, you moron?" He grunted, trying to shove past him.

"No, Tobio, you'll antagonise it!" Hinata hissed, shouldering him behind him again.

The setter frowned. "What, is it a stray cat or something? A big dog?"

"Worse," whispered Hinata. "I-It's a spider..."

There was a long moment of silence, the only noise was the distant tweeting of the birds, somewhere far in the distance. Kageyama stared at the middle blocker.

"Good joke, Sho, but no," He said and tried to walk past Hinata again but getting forced back once more.

"No, no, no! It's huge, look at it!"

Kageyama sighed and peered over his boyfriends' orange head and saw the spider. "That looks like a crumpled leaf, you moron."

"No, it scuttled, trust me," Hinata promised urgently.

Kageyama sighed and looked around. "It's windy, Shoyo. That was the wind moving some crinkly old leaf. Look, it's older than Tokada-sensei from chemistry. It's a leaf."

"It's definitely a spider, Tobio, trust me!"

"Well, then, just step on it or something. Walk around it, you moron."

Hinata gave him a horrified look. "But what if it uses its' web things to attach to me? And I could get in on my shoes, you idiot! That'd be gross!"

Kageyama gave a long, very annoyed sigh and scooped Hinata up in his arms without any warning.

"Woah, wait, Tobio, you idiot, what the hell?!" Hinata screeched, clinging desperately to his taller boyfriend, kicking like crazy.

"Stop kicking, you moron, I'm tryna help." 

Kageyama peered down at the leaf-spider-thing and stepped over it, carrying Hinata with him. When they ended up on the other side, he put his boyfriend down and accepted the flurry of insults as he picked up a loose stick on the floor.

"Now you're safe, Sho, let me show you that it's actually a leaf," He said, crouching down.

Holding the stick out like a weapon, with Hinata hiding behind him, he poked the thing in the middle of the pathway. Instantly, it started to scurry against the wind, clambering up the wall. In fright, Kageyama screamed and threw the stick in the air. Naturally, Hinata hit it hard into the ground.

"Run, Shoyo, run!" Screamed Kageyama. "We antagonised it!"

"We're gonna die!" Wailed Hinata, running down the stairs two at a time.
