Tsukkishima adjusted his sleeve and slipped a card inside, it was a fairly busy night; more guests than usual had arrived but not so many that it became overwhelming, which meant he Kei had the time to have a little... Fun with the patrons.

Tadashi and Hitoka were busy with cocktails while Hinata was egging people on to make higher bets, his innocent demeanor being perfect for trucking visitors. Tobio was nowhere to be seen though, which meant he was likely in his office.
Tobio was known as the 'King' of the Casino for  reasons, the first being his surprising skill and luck when it came down to gambling, the second being the fact he was notorious for having Kings stashed away somewhere when he was about to lose a game- not that he could ever be called out for cheating as no one ever managed to get proof of that- and finally, Tobio owned the casino. When the five graduated from Karasuno they were expected to go into volleyball, and they did for a while, but Kageyama was soon given a large sum of money learning it came from his grandfather's will.

When this happened they had already made plans that day to go to the US for a week on vacation and try gambling for the first time together.

Tobio was on a winning streak the entire night, leaving with so much more than he expected that he didn't even know what to do with it all, and Kei being his usual snarky self sarcastically told him to open his own casino if he was so lucky, next thing he knew he and the others were being begged by Kageyama to work in the casino he just opened and now here they were, one of the biggest names in the state.

"Hey! Blondie!"

It took a moment but Tsukkishima soon realized the people in a booth flowing with poker chips were calling out to him.

"How 'bout you join us for some roulette? You help run this place don't ya? You've got money to blow."

Without being given a moment to respond he was dragged towards the roulette table.

An objectively attractive woman was the croupier, and it seemed half the people betting seemed to try impress her in some way like using flashy methods to place down chips, which often lead to them picking random numbers rather than making sensible decisions.

Kei paid no mind and made his bets carefully, until he felt a pair of eyes on him. Well, he often had eyes on him, all the former Karasuno first years had the attention of many trying to outdo or impress them, but these felt... different... So much different...

"Aye, snap out of it!"

He looked up and realized he had his hand hovering over a number with the chip in hand while spaced out,
"Apologies."
He said nonchalantly, dropping the chip and watching the wheel spin, unable to shake the feeling that had him trying not to squirm.

He felt uncomfortable but very tingly at the same time, unable to tell if he enjoyed it or not.

"I win."

Tsukkishima said plainly when the wheel stopped spinning, his poker face was probably the best out of all his friends so it wasn't a problem to keep a straight face while the other people at the table glared daggers at him.
On the other hand, Hinata who watched began snickering, and the betters assumed he was laughing at them, but Tsukkishima could tell he wasn't, something was funny to Shoyo and after tracing his gaze he finally realized who was watching him.

Tobio was in his office doorway watching the roulette table, specifically Tsukkishima, very closely.

Nothing too odd, but the intense glare was something else. Kei turned back to the table before they accidentally locked eye contact because he would not be able to handle that; maybe Hinata and Yamaguchi knew about the miniscule liking he may have taken the the casino's royalty over the years, and maybe he only ended up working here in the first place because he couldn't say no to him even though he did end up enjoying working there and living with his long time friends, and maybe he was blushing just a bit but that didn't matter.

"If you're all done being easy on, why don't we move to black jack?"
Tsukkishima smirked, dinner was going to be on him.

Rounds later Tsukkishima had one game after game, his win to lose ratio was somewhere around 10:2 and that was pissing people off.

"You're cheating!"

Someone finally hissed, honestly Kei was surprised it took this long for someone to accuse him of something like that.

"Mhm, it's sad you are desperate enough to accuse me of that because you haven't won once."

A fight probably would've started if Hitoka didn't come in, passing around drinks and distracting everyone as she snuck Kei out of the situation.

"Not bad Tsukki"

"Don't call me that"
Tsukkishima deadpanned, grabbing a shot of gin off Yachi's tray.

"Kei."

Tsukkishima choked at the sudden call of his name, he turned and saw Tobio standing there with a wine glass of tequila.

"Can dinner be on me tonight? I'll send the money to our shared account for the others to get something.. but could we, y'know go get food, just us?"

A moment of silence went by, Yachi waited impatiently for an answer along with the other guests sitting at the bar who overheard the date request, the thick air was incredibly awkward and based Kag's face he obviously took the lack of answer as rejection.

"Sorry-"

"What time?"

There was a chorus of soft, collective gasps but TsukiKage we're in their own world;
"Pardon?"

"What time, dinner sounds nice.."

"Oh, I was thinking some time around 9? The others can handle the place."

Tsukkishima nodded and stood, facing inches away from his boss.
"I'll be waiting."

Was all he said before giving Tobio a teasingly quick peck of the lips and returning to his previous gambling group.

Hitoka cheekily smirked at Kageyama's heavy blush.

"Have fun, your majesty~"
