Hi, this is me. (Y/N) (L/N). I'm a volleyball player for a team Nekoma.

This school is such a good school to learn from and to play one of my favourite sports. Volleyball. I'm the setter of the girls' team. I'm a second year.

Next year I hope I can become the captain of our team. This would be a good achievement for me.

I'm writing this diary entry because I like writing my life story. I do it every day! Plus it also helps my writing and vocabulary skills. So, it's technically practising for writing stories.

I really like books and manga. My favourite manga has got to be (F/M). It's so good! Plus there are a lot of hot characters in the anime adaptation. So, that's mainly why I read mangas and other sorts of novels.

Today is our combined practice with the boys' team. It's going to be fun. I love watching the boys play volleyball. I get so inspired to improve my game as well.

I also have a crush on this one boy. His name is Yamamoto Taketora. But I hide my feelings. Mainly, because of my best friend, Aika. She is in love with him.

I don't want to be rude by interrupting her with my feelings. She deserves to have Yamamoto more than me. I mean she is beautiful. Her brown hair and eyes. She is the most popular girl in the school. And I'm pretty sure half of the boys' volleyball team is undyingly in love with her.

I mean I get why they do. Just one look and you're under her spell. I don't even know why I consider her as my best friend. She acts really pompous. She brags how her life is better than mine. This is what makes me self-conscious about how I look and feel.

Our combined practice began and I see Aika start to flirt with Yamamoto. But he isn't like the other guys. He doesn't seem to intrigued by her presence.

He looks really uncomfortable. I wanted to help him out. So, I took a deep breath and walked over to the 2 players.

"Hey, Aika, the combined practice is starting hurry up and get into position," I say with a confident smirk.

"Excuse me!?, you aren't the captain so you don't need to boss me around," She said with an angry aura.

She then proceeded to slap me on the face. I fall back and hold my red coloured cheek.

"Why the hell did you do that?! I was just asking you to get into position because everyone was waiting for you!" I say sounding pissed.

That's when everyone started to surround us. Kuroo, Kenma and Yamamoto proceeded to help me up.

"(Y/N)! are you alright?" Yamamoto said sounding really concerned.

"y-yeah, I'm fine," I say stuttering. Wanna know the cause of my stuttering? Well, Yamamoto was holding me in his arms tightly. I began to blush really bad.

Yamamoto then realised what he was doing and helped me up and let go of me.

"S-sorry," he said looking away blushing.

"(Y/N), are you okay to continue with the game?" Kuroo said looking at me intently.

"Kuroo? Who the hell do you think I am? I'm not going to be beaten by a little slap," I say looking smug.

"Now that's a team player!" Kuroo said sounding excited.

"Aika, you will be sitting out for this match. I will talk to the coaches and ask for your punishment," Kenma said seriously. Literally, Kenma was like my older brother. He always looked out for me. I seriously respected him for that.

Our practice game started finally. But I see Aika burn holes into my back with those death stares she keeps giving me. This is when I pause in the middle of the game.

"(Y/N)? Are you alright?" Yamamoto said sounding confused.

I don't reply. A couple of seconds later I start to speak up.

"Aika? can you please stop death starting me? It's really annoying. I get it. You don't want me to talk to your crush you fancy. Yamamoto? Isn't it?" I say smirking to myself as she sweats drops. I continue. "Well guess what? The world doesn't revolve around you! You think your the badest bitch to live! You have so many friends but end up betraying them in the end. Also, you're not the only who likes Yamamoto!"

I start to cover my face and start to shout at myself. You fucking idiot why did you say that? The entire 2 teams heard you! I say to myself in my thoughts. That's when Aika tries to punch me. That's when Yamamoto stepped in and protected me while Kuroo and Kenma apprehended Aika.

I just fall to the floor. Yamamoto still holding me.

"(Y-Y/N), did you mean what you said before?" He said blushing furiously.

"Y-y-y-yes," I say stuttering.

He proceeded to lift my chin up with his fingers. He then began to kiss me passionately. I instantly kiss him back making the kiss more intense. He pushed me to the floor and while continuing to kiss me. He kissed my neck and left a little hickey there. We both realise everyone is watching us...We both get up so fast you couldn't even see us move. That's when Kuroo started to piss himself laughing.

"Oh my god, Yamamoto you finally did it!" He said in between laughs.

"S-s-s-shut up you asshole!!" he said looking down. The boys' team went to talk to him about what just happened. The same thing happened with the girls.

After practice was done me and Yamamoto walked home together. We then arrive at my place. And of course, my parents aren't here.

"Y-your parents ain't here?" He said looking a bit flushed.

"Y-yeah. They are never here," I say looking down. He then drops his bag and begins to continue where we left off.

This was a night I will never forget.
