Today went great! I'm a volleyball player on the female team of Aoba Johsai. I'm the ace! I love volleyball. It's such a fun and energetic sport!

Right now I'm in my math class. I'm actually pretty good a math. Considering how hard it is. I slowly write the equation in my notebook and make sure to understand it carefully.

I look out the window whilst waiting for the rest of the class to finish the equations set on the board. I decided to take this time to look at my crush. Kunimi.

He is a wing spiker for the boy's team. He is really intelligent. I want to be like him. Well, I look up to him a lot. I have seen him play. The way he moves is so elegant. I make sure I observe him and the rest of the boy's team so I can become a better player.

I look at Oikawa as well because I need to get good information off him by giving it to our setter; Haruka. She is good but she could improve and maybe surpass Oikawa. So yeah. That's what I look at Oikawa.

Lunch has started but I take that time to practice in the gym. I want to get better so I can play professionally.

I've seen Karasuno's team play. I observed them carefully. Especially that flaming orange haired one. He can jump so high plus he's got some stamina on him.

Every day I train my body to make sure I have enough stamina for matches. Also, I make sure I practice every day and with spiking every day. I have Haruka with me and setting for me.

I managed to spike the ball really hard in the ground that made it go up really high. I was shocked. And so was Haruka. I started jumping up and down and hugging Haruka as well.

"(Y/n), that was so good!!" Haruka said really energetic.

"Thanks!"I said with a smile.

But what we didn't notice that all of the boy's team was here watching us. I look over and see them. My face bursts in the colour of red. And Right now Kunimi and the rest of the team start clapping.

"Good job (y/n)-chan!!" Oikawa said like he was my older brother.

I flicked his head and said thanks whilst crossing my arms.

"Hey (y/n)-chan let's have a combined practice. Since your the captain would you like to join us with practising?" Oikawa said with a questionable look.

"Sure, I'll get the rest of the girls. The only problem is they are all scattered around the school. It might take a little bit to get them together," I replied.

"(Y/n), I'll come with you to get the rest of the girls" said Kunimi.

I looked at him with a look of excitement. You want to know why? Well, he is my crush and just being near him makes me feel good.

That's when Haruka whispered in my ear.

"(Y/nnnnn), what are you gonna do? Make out with him when I'm not around?" Haruka said evilly.

That's when my face went crimson red.

"(Y/n), are you alright?" Iwaizumi asked me.

"Y-y-yeah I'm fine. All good," I sighed really long after my sentence.

We then left to go find the rest of the girls to play a practice match with the boys. Kunimi offered to come with me while Haruka went to the other side of school while we searched the part of the school close to the gym.

Before we found anyone kunimi pulled me aside to an isolated area.

"K-kunimi? Are you okay?" I ask stuttering.

"(Y-y/n), I want to ask you something," he said sounding confident.

"sure what do you want to ask?" I said a little worried.

"Do you like anyone?" he as his facial expression changes into something questionable.

When he said this I felt my heart beat quicken. I try to say something but all that came out was inaudible mumbles. Then I took a few breaths and finally said something.

"I-I-I-It's y-you," I said through my hands because I was covering my face with them.

After a couple of seconds, he removed my hands and planted his lips on mine. I just stood there wide-eyed for a couple of seconds before understanding what I was doing. I kissed back.

I put my arms around his neck while he was making the kiss deeper. He pushed me against the wall but before we could do anything more we both heard a clicking sound.

We break the kiss and I see Haruka standing there with the biggest smirk on her face. Plus, she was holding her phone. Guess where that clicking sound came from? Her phone.

"H-Haruka?!" I said feeling really embarrassed.

"Hehehehheheheh, finally Kunimi. You made your move. I was wondering when you were," She said confidently.

"Haruka are you joking?" Kunimi said with a bit of anger in his voice. "Did you have to take a photo?"

"Of course, I had to. You were kissing my best friend. I have to mark that in my history book," She said quite loudly.

I just sighed and we went back to get the other girls and get back to the gym.

After getting the girls we play a game. I couldn't help but look at Kunimi. But I had to shake him out of my head while I went to play the game. Oikawa was serving. Great I thought. We have to go up with one of his serves.

But I know that our libero Aiko was practising a lot lately so I suggest to Oikawa to give his best shot. He just smirked and gave me a thumbs up.

I went over to Aiko.

"Aiko, I told Oikawa to give his best shot. You know what that means, "I say as we have a mental agreement. Like we knew what we were saying.

The game started and Oikawa did his power shot. But everyone was surprised. Aiko received it perfectly.

So that's when Haruka got under the ball and went to set it up to me. I remember watching that orange haired one and I saw a shot he did. He hit the ball off the top of the blockers fingers. So that's what I'll try. I have been practising it so I'll see how it goes for this match.

Haruka set the ball up and I ran up. I looked around for my target and I hit really hard. Well as hard as I could. I hit it off the top of Iwaizumi's fingers and the ball bounced to the back of the court.

We got the first point!! When I landed back on my feet and all the girls jumped on top of me and started to scream 'good job!!!' I just thanked them and we went back to the game.

The game finished and Kunimi offered to take me home.

"That was an amazing spike you did!" Kunimi said with his voice full of emphasis.

"Thanks! You are really good too! This might be awkward but I look up to you a lot. Meaning I love to learn from you and the others. So thanks" I said looking down because of my red face.

Kunimi lifted my head went to kiss my lips lightly. We kissed for a couple of seconds before pulling apart. He hugged me and asked me a certain question.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked scratching the back of his head while blushing. I jumped on him and screamed yes.

We went hand in hand all the way back to my place

What a great day... I'm thankful to live this experience
