"Hey Akaashi, you're phone was ringing." The cat said as the black haired entered the flat.
"Oh...Thank you Kenma-san." Akaashi put the groceries on the table and took off his trench coat and scarf.
"Ah... It was a notification from this dating website." He said as he read the messages, sitting down next to Kenma.
"And...?" The cat stopped his video game. "Apparently someone wants to date me..." The mother owl clicked on the profile, showing it his roommate. "Wait, him..? Uhm...Are you sure you want to say yes Akaashi? I mean, he looks really weird and who wants to go to the zoo for their first date?" Kenma shook his head and continued his game.
"Mhm...it's sounds kinda cute though. And I would feel bad if I turn him down." The black haired mumbled more to himself, already typing his assurance. He nodded satisfied, standing up and going to the kitchen to put away the groceries.
He was looking forward to the date.

Meanwhile at Bokutos'

"I hope I'm as lucky as you dude!" The owl was a bit nervous, walking up and down.
"Bro, relaaax. Your profile is awesome. And the zoo is perfect for a first date!" The big cat tried to calm his friend down and it worked.
"Yeah, you're right. I mean, who doesn't like animals?" Kuroo nodded smirking. "That's my bro..." Bokuto let out a long sigh, sitting down next to his friend.
"I'm so nervous... Do you think he'll like me?" Again, the cat nodded. "Of course. Don't worry, bro. He will fall in love with you right away."
And then, a little pling was heard. The owl ran as fast as he could to his phone, unlocking it to read the message he got.
"He said yes! Hey hey hey!" Bokuto said happily, throwing his fists in the air. "Told ya!" The cat laughed and they both started to make a very long bromance check.
"Okay, tomorrow is the date, so we gotta go shopping to buy you a new outfit. My bro should look like a womanizer!"
"Manizer!" Bokuto corrected him smirking and Kuroo smirked too. "Let's go!" They both went shopping, making hundreds of selfies or putting on weird clothes.

"Okay, gotta calm down." Bokuto took a deep breath and looked at himself in the mirror again.
"Don't worry, it's going to be an awesome date." His best friend tried to cheer him up, when suddenly Bokuto looked seriously at him.
"I'm really looking forward to this date, and he seems like a really nice guy.."
The tall cat was a bit shocked for a brief moment, but smiled, stood up and laid his hand on his friend's shoulder.
"You're worrying too much, I bet he will love it. You're funny, charming and have the looks. Good luck and have fun, don't over think it, Bro." Bokuto was touched.
"Bro.." they both hugged each other and then the owl went to the zoo, totally excited.

Akaashi was already standing in front of the zoo as Bokuto arrived. Crap, I'm already late! He ran hastily to his date. "Oya oya, are you Akaaaaa-?"
When the black haired turned around, everything went in slow motion for him. How Akaashi batted his eyelashes, how he answered to his question. Bokuto saw also a pink, glittering aurora around his date and a small wind blowed through Akaashi's hair.
"O-san... Aro-san... Kotaro-san, are you okay?" The big owl shook his head, looking at the black haired. He nodded hastily.
"Y-Yeah! Uhm...But just call me Bokuto." He said and Akaashi nodded. "Okay, should we go in, Bokuto-san?" How he said his name gave the owl goosebumps.

"Of course! The tickets gonna be my treat. Hey hey hey, let's go!" He finally became his normal self. Akaashi went with him, buying the tickets.
He's pretty loud... And it looks like as if he would be always like this.

e sighed a bit, but did not want to give up on the date.
They went through the zoo, Bokuto nearly stopped by every single animal. "Whoa look how tall they are!! And their tongues are blue! Giraffes are like so awesome!"
The owl was like a small child, looking amazed at the giraffe. Akaashi smiled a bit, as he watched his date jumping side to side to see every angle of the giraffe. Even though he's loud, he's kinda adorable...

As they went to the reptile house, looking at the snakes, Bokuto wanted to impress Akaashi with a fact. So he said. "I don't know why people are afraid of snakes, I mean they don't have legs so they can't chase you! Aren't some people stupid?"
He laughed, still looking at the snakes. The black haired looked at him, giving him an irritated, confused and kinda disgusted look. What the he- How can someone be this stupid?!

When they continued walking through the zoo, Akaashi started to realize, how stupid Bokuto actually is. He couldn't even listen to him.
As they went out the owl house, the black haired sighed relieved. But Bokuto looked around himself, hesitating a bit.
"Uhm... Akaashi, could you wait here for a sec? I'm just...uh...going to the toilet..." he mumbled nervously.
"Of course Bokuto-san..."
He said in his natural monotone voice. He nodded and went back to the house. Akaashi sat down on a bench, taking out his phone. He saw that Kenma wrote him, what made him smile a bit.

Kenma-san: Hey Akaashi, are you alive?
Kenma-san: Did he already piss you off?
Kenma-san: please answer me, I'm kinda worried.

Akaashi chuckled softly and wrote his friend back, that everything was fine and that he was only a bit annoyed by his date.
As Bokuto came back, he smiled brightly. The black haired put his phone back in his pocket, standing up. "You look happy Bokuto-san, was it this great on the toilet?"
The owl had to laugh and scratched his neck. "He he he, yes." Akaashi wanted to facepalm himself, but abstained from doing it.

"I'll take you home." Bokuto smiled at Akaashi, who nodded only.
"Thank you Bokuto-san. Do you have a car?" The owl flinched, sulking suddenly. "No I don't...Oh no I destroyed it, damn it! I wanted to look cool in front of you..." The black haired rolled his eyes and let out a deep sigh. Does he have an emo mode or what is this?
"You can buy me a ticket for the tram. And you look cool, Bokuto-san..." He mumbled and as sudden as the owls emo mode appeared, as sudden it disappeared, replacing it with a bright smile.
"Hey hey hey, yes! Great idea!" Akaashi heard himself chuckling quietly.

He's really dorky...

They both hopped on the tram. "So, you play volleyball?" Bokuto asked, looking down at Akaashi. They both stood next to each other.
"Mhm yes. I play the position setter..." He answered quietly. "Woah, that's perfect! I'm a wing spiker and an ace, that matches perfectly! What a coincidence!" The owl said excited, grinning brightly.
"Bokuto-san, didn't you look for a setter?" The owl flinched.
"Akaashi...! You should say, yes we're meant to be!"
He started to pout and crossed his arms. The black haired rolled his eyes and didn't say anything. But suddenly, the tram drove a sharp bend. Akaashi lost balance, but Bokuto could catch him in the right moment. Their eyes widened a bit and they had to blush. "You have great reflexes, Bokuto-san...."
"I know..."

What a cliche...

They both reached the house in an awkward silence.
"Well, good night Boku-" He got interrupted by the owl.
"A-Akaashi...uhm...I...have something for you... It's nothing uhm...special but...uh...Here." He took out two pendants. The one had a black owl with a tired look and the other was grey with some black feathers, it had a grinning look on its face.
"They reminded me of...us. A-And I wanted to give you the grey one, so maybe... It will remind you of me.." Bokuto was blushing like crazy, holding his hands out to Akaashi, looking away in shame.
The black haired looked at the pendant, took it and felt how he had to blush too.
"Bokuto-san, the date was kind of horrible, you're very hyperactive and loud and I bet you're not good on your collage, university whatsoever..." Bokuto flinched.
"Akaashi, how can you say that directly into my face!" Akaashi chuckled a bit, taking his wrist and pulling him closer to himself.
"You didn't let me finish. Even though you're like that, I enjoyed it very much and I can not bring myself up to hate it, because I enjoyed it so much. You can be very cute and thoughtful and I see how much you like me..." He kissed the owls cheek softly, smiling, while doing so. "Good night Bokuto-san, let's meet us again very soon." The black haired smiled, going back inside.

okuto just stood there, blushing and grinning like an idiot. "Y-Yeah..." He mumbled, snapping out of his thoughts. "Hey hey hey, He likes me! He likes me!" He laughed loudly, jumping and dancing happily, as he went back home.

Akaashi and Bokuto looked at their pendants, smiling happily. I'm really looking forward to the next date...
They both thought as they went to their beds, laying down and falling asleep with a smile.
