valentines day special.

VALENTINE - KYOUHABA

when the bell rang, yahaba grabbed all of his things and walked over to watari's class, since he was in class six and yahaba was in class five.

"oh yahaba! are you not going to walk with kyoutani today?" watari asked, those two were very close and walked home together every day.

"nope," yahaba said, popping the 'p'. "he said that he was busy and had to be home quickly, and since we usually go to the convince store on days without practice, he decided to do it this day."

watari let out an understanding nod and continued walking.

when they reached their respective shoe lockers, yahaba opened it and a light blue note came out.

"oooh! what's that, yahaba?"

"i-i don't know," he said.

"well then open it you, big dummy!"

the caramel haired boy rolled his eyes and ripped it open. he was met with a white, dirty, index card. on the blank side, it had a picture of a mess red heart. on the lined side, it read:

"well? what does it say?" watari asked.

"I-IT'S J-JUST ABOOT- ABOUT HOMEWORK! FOR BIOLOGY!"

"okay? why are you yelling?"

"I- UH I GOTTA GO! SEE YOU LATER WATARI!" shigeru yelled, running off. he checked his watch, 4:28, class ended at four.

"shit," he mumbled out of his breath, the park was a five-minute walk, so he started sprinting.

he passed couples holding hands, kids laughing with their friends, etc. why were so many people acting like this today?

when he reached the park, it was exactly 4:30. he looked around, in search for the special someone.

his eyes were met with someone else's.

a someone else's that he knew.

whom's hand was holding a daisy.

"kyoutani?"

the un-natural blond flinched and his face was covered in a red color. he walked over to the other and handed him another index card.

yahaba's eyes widened. it was valentines day?

"yes!" yahaba said, enclosing kyoutani in a hug. they were both smiling and blushing madly. they blended in perfectly with all the couples around them.
