Personality: Marinette doesn't deal with people's shenanigans and can be intimidating to most people. Her aura gives off this salty attitude and it's pretty accurate. She is quick to fire back insults at others or to point out the flaws of others. She is an active person, not one for being able to sit still like in a desk. Marinette has authority over the male's volleyball team of Shitorizawa since she became their manager and even plays along side them. Even though she can be an a-hole at times, Marinette is considerate of others but has a hard time showing it. She can be blunt with her words and getting her flustered is a rare occurrence. If she could choose, she would rather be a boy just so she wouldn't have to deal with others thinking she is weak or that certain time of the month.

Family: Wendy Sohma (mother): Her mother is from America and is quiet lively. She is always teasing her daughter and cracking jokes. She is also someone who can't stop moving, usually going out to try different activities. She isn't afraid to talk, often being the loud one of the family.
Shoto Sohma (Father): Shoto is a calm kind of guy, always trying to calm Wendy when she is getting out of hand. He is the one in the family who helps ease tensions or where Marinette can connect with him about problems even though she isn't one for being emotional. He stays home with his son while Wendy goes to work as a physical therapist and gym trainer. He does most of the cleaning and cooking as well.
Reno Sohma (Little brother): Reno is 3 years old and quite talkative. He always looks up to his big sister and wants to know about sports like she does. Reno goes to kindergarten so after volleyball practice, Marinette picks her brother up if her father is having back problems and her mother is at work. Reno isn't as loud as his mother but he has a passion for drawing unlike the rest of the family, especially painting.
Friends: Ushijima (They always have classes together and stayed in contact after highschool), Tendou (grew close because of Ushijima and is always competing), Oikawa (she likes to tease him more than anything), Hinata (she admires his determination, Akaashi (she admires the fact he can handle Bokuto)
Background: Marinette was born in America but during her middle school years, they moved to Japan due to her mother getting a great job offer and for her dad to be able to get treatment for his back. Reno was born a year or two after they moved and she has grown to love teaching due to Reno. Marinette has always been active but never good at making friends, when she got into Shitorizawa, that all changed with the boy's volleyball club. She is able to teach them new techniques and honestly became manager without full permission from the coach. Ushijima and Tendou are close to her and because of that everyone else has learned to respect her as a vital part of their team. She is always going to their matches and practice matches, looking for ways they can improve and even playing along with them.

She met Oikawa and Hinata due to matches of course, finding them both attractive along with Tendou but wasn't thinking about relationships at the time. When graduating, she never lost touch with Ushijima and Tendou but went to Rio to practice beach volleyball as well as find the path she wants to take. What is funny is she got an offer for a professional girl's volleyball team and to be the manager of Black Jackals. So...she took both! She focuses more on being manager since the team she is in doesn't require her to be there all the time. While Marinette was in Rio, she met Hinata first since they live close by so they became closer through the years of being together in Rio. Later on she met Oikawa so they exchanged phone numbers while they had the chance.
Appearance: The first pic is how I kind of want her but with green eyes. Also the second pic is kind of her clothes and hair style
