-Haiku-

/ˈhʌɪkuː/
(noun) A Japanese poem/ verse of seventeen syllables, most often composed, in English versions, of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables.

Colours are an important part of our life. Can you imagine living in a world without any colours? Because honestly, I can't. No matter what the shade, each hue has a special place in our lives.

In fact, most of the time our life revolves around colours! Whether it is identifying a country based on the colours of its flag, or decorating our house by the red-green-white theme of Christmas; whether it is identifying teams based on their jersey colours or colour-coordinating with our loved ones; these various shades and hues are a critical part of our world. To add on, India even celebrates the festival Holi to honour this colourful aspect of life.

So, as a tribute to these 'colours' that make our life so interesting and wonderful, here is a collection of five different haikus based on five basic yet extremely important colours.
It's time to get COLOURFUL!
