thunderstorm threatens

cumulus clouds clustering

westerly wind wild

torrential downpour

nature's method of cleansing

flirtatious freshness

a rainbow appears

cascades of blooming branches

volitant warblers

tired spouse returning

need to fire up barbecue

enjoy Happy Hour

hard day's work finished

chaise lounge relaxation time

children smother dad

serve succulent steaks

slowly sip sparkling champagne

youngsters' bedtime soon

A/N I've given Tiger enough attention these last few days along with

the rest of the world (and, particularly his sponsors) so it is time to

celebrate spring once more with this  favorite  Haiku/Senryu (chain)

poem that I have chosen to repost/rededicate to my dear Wattpad

poetess and friend, LouAnn, as my Easter surprise. Incidentally, the first

three stanzas exactly describe the stormy spring weather that we've been

experiencing this week and that is so typical of our spring time. We even had

a beautiful rainbow spanning the horizon with a backdrop of a stormy grey sky.
