Huphh.... Calm down Eva, with this amount of butterflies in my whole fucking body, I might explode.

I have to control that feeling and remove it from my face so that my mum doesn't doubt anything. Before entering my home I was standing outside on the front yard trying to not smile and not bring Liam's face, his eyes, his touch, his lips, his everything to my mind.

There were multiple times that I tried to open the door, then stopped because the smile on my face reappeared again and again. Finally after trying so hard for 10 minutes I could bring a little bit of tiredness on my face and then enter.

Mum notices me entering the house and asks "how was the party?"

"Yeah. It was good. We had a good time." I said with a very plain face. "But... uh... My mind was distracted. I have a bunch of assignments that I have to complete."

"Eva, come on, you should give yourself a break. You'll go crazy if you don't relax and have fun with your friends once in a while."

"Yeah maybe."

"Didn't I tell you that high school is just the start of your life outside school. If you don't experience any of these now you might find all these things pretty overwhelming when you graduate and that might be stressful."

Everything she said wasn't anything new. I've heard it before. But I didn't cut her. Lying to her already made me feel guilty. So I let her continue the same old lecture. "So you should at least know how to have fun with your friends. And trust me going off track is what helps us become more determined of what we actually want to do."

I give her a smile and say "Thanks mum, that was.... actually helpful."

When I walk upstairs I realize there's one thing that I felt really strange about the whole speech. She never even once mentioned anything about a boyfriend. It seemed really striking.

She had been on it for a long time. We had an argument like a few weeks ago. But since the last two weeks she has not even once said anything about any boy.

She sure asked me if I was going on a date but once I said no she did not stretch the topic.

Anyways.

I would like to believe that she has finally realized that I can make a few decisions of my life on my own and that she does not always have to guide me into doing something.

I go inside the washroom to get changed. I looked at myself in the mirror and my eyes were glowing.

Everything that happened a few minutes ago came rushing back to my mind how he held my hands, looked into my eyes now that I think of it so precisely I remember him looking down at my lips maybe he thought about kissing me on my lips but then it was only the first date, so he went for the cheeks.

I cover my face with my hand just so that I could somehow stop blushing so much. But it's like my heart and mind were not listening to me anymore.

I can't stop recalling how it felt when he was so close that I shut my eyes and the moment I felt his lips. They felt so soft on my cheeks I held my breath as I could feel his warm breath on my face and every touch on my skin felt so good.

I change my dress, get into my nightwear and jump into bed. But then I remembered that I have a few assignments to revise. I'm gonna be 110% prepared for whatever's coming in the next geography class.

I have never been intimidated by any teacher or their knowledge before because I always find it interesting. But Mr. Hyde's words, the way he walked around, the way he looked at people was different.

Chloe and I step inside the corridor when I see Jasper waiting near Chloe's locker. I look at her and a big smile appears on her face.

It made me feel good. These guys have been struggling so much with their relationship with all the Hazel drama but then it came to me why was Jasper standing near Chloe's locker if Hazel sees this she is going to figure out that we were trying to throw her off all his time and that Chloe and Jasper are still together.

As we move even forward near Chloe's locker Jasper gives Chloe a smile and a wink and leaves.

"Winky winky! What was all that about.?" Leo's face is full of curiosity and mischief. This guy is so excited when it comes to everyone else's relationship. He just cannot help but say things to tease us.

"Mhhmm... of course I'll tell you everything, let's get to class first. " We walk towards our class. Chloe follows us.

"So.... don't freak out." Chloe starts as we sit together. "Jasper and I have decided to.... You know, finally, you know!" I look at Leo and find that his mouth is agape just like mine. We look back at Chloe and she just couldn't hold the happiness bubbling inside her. She squeaked "yes yes yes" with a low voice. Tapping her toes and covering her face with her hand.

"You mean.... Do it?" sheesh.... Does that sound weird? Is it though? I don't know. Chloe's never been very private about her relationships, she's secure about herself and her emotions. Guess that's a good thing.

"Yeeppppppp. Today." Chloe says with her eyes widened and her right hand over her lips.

"What!? like today today?"

"No. like tomorrow today." Leo says nonchalantly.

"You sure about this Chloe? I mean it has been like a month or so that you guys have started dating. And maybe you should just- - " Leo cuts me off.

"C'mon! Now! Evalyn, stop being a cock blocker! These guys are already dealing with that psycho Hazel."

"Huh. Leo's right. I'm sorry you guys should definitely spend some time together. It's just that I want you to be safe."

"Evelyn, it's fine. I get it. You're worried about me, but trust me I've thought this through." said literally every teenager before making a rash decision.

"And maybe we have officially been in a relationship for the last one month but we have known each other for a really long time." That's true though, but. I don't know.

"Okay, if you say so." Maybe it's not a bad idea. I mean I practically helped these two come together again. And Jasper is trustworthy.

"Yes! oh my God '' she covers her face with her hands again. And squeaks in a low voice. "I am so excited!" making Leo and me chuckle.

We laugh and make jokes amongst ourselves when I see Liam coming over. He walks straight towards us and sits next to me putting his one arm around my shoulder.

He looks at me, gives a smirk and says "Hello love." Did he just try to pull a Klaus? It was a bit funny but also tremendously cute at the same time.

We were talking a lot about vampire diaries on our date last night. Correction. I was.

And he didn't mind listening to me while he looked at me with amusement and affection in his eyes.

"Uhhhh aren't you two the cutest!" Says Leo with his extremely-excited-high-pitched voice.

Chloe eyes us both and her face had excitement written all over it. I look at Liam and give him a wide smile. His face looks satisfied after seeing me smile.

"So how's your football practice going on? Thought you were gonna be tired from all the practice." I said to him mockingly as he didn't look tired.

"Never too tired for you." he looks at my lips and straight to my eyes, licking his lower lip.

Making me bite my own.

woh. Is it weird that I want to kiss him so badly?

School's over for the day. We head for our home.

I notice Jasper waiting by the corner. He must be waiting for Chloe. I wasn't that worried for now as Hazel didn't come to school today. I wave Chloe goodbye as she walks off with Jasper.

I go by the football field. See a bunch of guys practicing really hard. I stood there for a bit to watch Liam play. I like it when he yells stuff while playing. He's always so sweet and a gentleman around me. It's exciting how one person can have both the soft and fierce side in one soul. I kinda liked this fierce and passionate side of him.

Liam notices me but he's in the middle of the game so he couldn't come to me. He signales me that he'll call me. I show a thumbs up and give him a flying kiss. And he gives me back one.

I leave the school and when I'm almost near my home, my phone starts buzzing. I wasn't expecting Liam to call me this soon. It was like 20 mins ago that I left the school.

I drag the phone out of my pocket. And my heart stopped when I saw the name that appeared on my mobile screen.

Hazel.

But what was she calling me for? I hope she doesn't know anything about Chloe and Jasper. That's not possible, she didn't come to school today.

How could she possibly have any idea about those two? Unless someone told her. I wasn't sure if I should receive it. But if I do I might know what she's up to.

I receive the call.

"Evelyn. Evelyn. Evelyn. Babe, you're so screwed." her voice sounded revengeful. It was filled with aggression and envy.
