Asahi has had a crush on you for sometime now but never has the courage to say anything. So when you stepped foot in the gym, once again he was at a lost of words.

You walked into the gym with your friends. You heard the team was practicing and you wanted to watch. You sat on the bleachers with your friends chuckling and gossiping.

As you were with your friends, asahi was practicing with his team. He was stretching when he noticed you and as per usual, he got all shy and nervous.

Tobio noticed his reaction towards you, "Just ask her already."

Asahi lightly scoffed, "Who? Y/n? Pftt, nothing's going on."

"Dude, you're always staring at them." He rolled her eyes, "Cut the cord dude. Ain't that hard."

Asahi scratched the back of his head, "I don't know, tobio."

Tobio sighed and placed his hand on asahi's shoulder, "Practice starts in five minutes. Just rip off the bandaid."

Tobio went back to stretching and asahi took a deep breath in and out. He sucked up some confidence and began to make his way over to the bleachers, to you. It was now or never for him - he was now going to ask you out.

Asahi stood in front of you, a bit uneasy and not knowing what to say. But luckily he didn't have to think that hard because you beat him to the punch.

"Asahi, hey." You lightly smiled.

"Hi." He smiled back, "What brings you to the gym?"

You lightly shrugged, "Supporting the team."

"Right -!" He awkwardly chuckled as he looked away.

"Asahi!" Shoyo waved to him, "We're about to start! The other team is here!"

He turned back to you, "Guess that's my cue." You nodded understandingly as he quickly came up with an excuse, "Maybe we can get ice cream afterwards - if we win the practice rounds."

You quickly nodded, leaving him to jog back over to his team with a smile on his face. It didn't go the way he planned but he eventually mustered the words out and that he was proud of.
