"It won't fit."

"Huh?" I was still in post orgasmic bliss when I vaguely sensed Smurf turn around. "I thought it fit pretty well? I mean, you were a pretty tight, but—"

"The file," She broke me off with a deadpan glare. She turned around again and looked at my laptop, before climbing off my lap. She trembled lightly as she sat down beside me, simultaneously pulling her panty back into place. Still full of me. "The file he sent you. It's too large for your laptop."

"Oh." Oh. Oh, shit.

I shot up and quickly leaned over forward, squinting my eyes at my laptop in effort to zone my head back into work-mode. I now saw a message that had popped up in the middle of my screen that told me I had run out of storage. "My laptop can't store the file because of my software. They both can't run at the same time." This was a problem. Major problem.

I saw Smurf bite her lip as she thought. In the meantime, I awkwardly got up and buckled my pants, before walking over to the kitchen to wash my hands thoroughly.

While silently promising myself that that hadn't been the last time I had tasted this Smurf-girl. Damn, no.

"What if we got an external hard drive?" Smurf suddenly piped up. "We could buy an external hard drive and download the codes that way?"

"But we need my software to download it," I reminded her while drying my hands. "It's impossible to download because of the self-erasing software that it has. That's why this 'A' dude never succeeded himself."

"I know, but if we download it through your laptop and onto the external hard drive," She said and stood up as I came back into the living room with a deep frown. "It might work."

"We'll need to code my software onto the hard drive then, too," I thought aloud and frowned as I finally came back to the couch. I sat down and looked pensively at the message that was still showing on my laptop. "We need to protect these files and make sure no else can get to them, and my software is the only thing that can do that. We would need a son of a bitch of a hard drive, and those are expensive and hard to come by," I pointed out to Smurf who pursed her lips. "I don't know about you, but I don't shit money."

She rolled her eyes and pointed to my laptop. "I think you're forgetting your new friend, dumbass."

Who, 'A'? I didn't even know this mysterious Pretty Little Liar's fan. What if he wanted me to download the software just so he could get it for himself and use it against all of us? He could be a villain in the making and I had no intention of becoming his Harley Quinn.

Although I would look sick with pig tails.

"Do you really trust this guy that much?" I asked Smurf with a raised brow. "Would you stake your life on him being trust worthy? I need to know, Smurf. Because this is more important than just your life, so if this goes sideways somehow because this dude can't be trusted—"

"He can be trusted," She bit out defensively. "Look. I can't speak for him, but I personally trust him enough to go through with this, and frankly we have nothing else to go with. If you want to help your friend Eli, we have to do this," She said, her voice softening a little when I cupped my face in my hands with a heavy exhale. "Just trust me, Caleb. He's trying to help, so just let him."

I took a deep breath. My invention was more than gold worth. In the wrong hands, you could hack and rule a whole country. Combined with a state-of-the-art hard drive with enough space to keep confidential governmental projects... it was a lethal combination. In the wrong hands.

But as long as it was my hands holding on to all of it...

I blew out my breath and pulled my head up. "We need him to get his hands on a super hard drive, then. I'll find the model I need myself and send him a link, but it could be difficult. What kind of power does this 'A' guy have?"

Smurf stared at me for a moment. Then, clearing her throat a little, she awkwardly stuttered out; "Uhm... a lot."

A lot. That wasn't exactly a calming statement. But, in this case, it could be just what we needed. "So get him to buy the hard drive I'm demanding. Tell him I need it to complete this," I said and looked back at my laptop, running my hands through my hair. This kink in the whole thing was going to make it take a lot longer. First I needed to actually get the hard drive, and then I needed to modify it... and then, if God was still on my side after what I just did, then by His will, I hoped this whole shit would work.

And we could get Eli back home safely.

"Okay," Smurf said, slowly turning towards her own laptop. "I'll message him and tell him."

"And one last thing," I said.

She raised a brow, looking back at me. "What?"

I kept staring at my laptop, looking at the message he had sent me on my laptop.

'A: Hundreds of children's lives are resting in your capable hands now, Mr Montrell.'

"I want to meet him."

~ Four Days Later ~

I was playing with dolls.

I was a grown ass man and I was playing with dolls because my little sister wanted to play with dolls, so I was playing with dolls. If anyone had a problem with playing with dolls just because you had a big dick, then maybe it wasn't as big as you thought.

Are we going to the beach? I signed to Elana who was playing with her Elsa Barbie doll that Mia had bought her. She fucking loved that thing. She had only ever had one doll before, and that was a doll I had found in the trash with it's head missing. It used to be her favorite toy, but after Elsa, headless-Barbie had been demoted to second place. So I was now headless-Barbie.

Yes, Elana signed back and quickly steered her Barbie towards the empty shoe box that Mia had also provided. She plopped her Barbie in there and then took mine from my hands and put it in there as well. Off to the beach it was.

Hold on, princess, I'm not sure you're old enough to drive, I grinned at her, to which she toothily grinned back and shook her head. Are you going to drive anyway? Are you?

She squealed soundlessly and then jumped up to her feet, taking the box with her and running out into the living room.

I grinned and raced after her, bursting into the living room where, to my surprise, I found Zoe sitting in the couch instead of Mia.

Over the past few days, ever since we lost Eli, we had been cooped up in Mia's apartment so we could work together. Mia was still a wreck after what happened inside the facility. She had refused to talk much about it. Right now, all we could do was wait while 'A' worked his magic with getting that hard drive. It had been almost four days and all of us were growing more and more tense.

But that all was nothing compared to what Eli was currently going through.

At the sound of me bursting into the living room, Smurf looked up from her laptop. She looked at me with a raised brow as Elana raced on into the kitchen for shelter. "Uhm..."

"We were playing dolls," I quickly told, eyeing out Elana in the kitchen who peaked up over the edge of the counter with a cheeky grin. I envied her constant ability to stay happy and smiling. She'd gotten that from mom.

"Of course," Smurf replied, nodding in absolute understanding. "Well don't let me stop you."

"Any word from 'A' yet?"

She shook her head and turned her eyes down at her laptop again with a heavy sigh. "No. Nothing yet."

I nodded back. Getting a hold of a hard drive the size I had required took time. It wasn't just something you picked up from your local electronics store. This was a model that had only been used by other governments, including probably C.E.N.T.U.R.I.E.S. To beat their drive, you had to upgrade to their level.

Unfortunately, that wasn't as easy as it sounded.

"Alright. Let me know if you hear anything," I said. The exact same words I had spoken over the last few days so many times, I'd lost track of just how many.

"I will," Smurf replied, saying what she had been saying for days, too. "I don't think it'll be much longer now, though."

"Yeah... where's Mia?"

"She's at the store, getting some groceries. What the hell are you wearing?"

My eyes lifted when they had lowered to the floor, but instantly found Smurf's again at her words. She was staring at me, but more specifically, at my chest.

I automatically looked down and then grinned. "It's my favorite shirt. Do you like it?"

"You are really another kind of lame, do you know that?" She dryly responded before turning her eyes back to her laptop.

Lame? I scoffed loudly and straightened my shirt, brushing down the front. I was very proud of this shirt, actually. I had custom made it myself and ordered it online, choosing my own font and color and everything. It was a simple black tee with four sentences I had plans to patent one day. Awesome sentences.

"It's true," I declared, looking at Smurf and slowly coming towards her with a little smirk. "I protecc, I attacc, but most importantly... I hack."

She looked up with a flat expression as my smirk grew to new proportions. She rolled her eyes, just as I heard the pitter patter of footsteps running towards me.

Elana ran up to me, still carrying her shoebox, but nonetheless lifted her hands up at me. I bent down and lifted her off the floor, placing her on my hip.

Sorry, princess, I signed with one hand when she pouted at me for having neglected her in the middle of our play. That was rude. Adults had to talk for a moment.

I'm hungry, she signed at me, then placed her hand on my mouth. I grinned and kissed it.

You want me to make you something? I asked.

She nodded determinedly, but then wiggled to get out of my arms again and down to the floor. I put her down and then let her drag me to the kitchen.

"We're just gonna make some lunch," I voiced to Smurf who was typing away on her laptop. "Do you want anything?"

"Uh... A sandwich, I guess?"

"Any specific kind?" I asked while picking Elana up and setting her on the counter. I asked what she wanted as well while Smurf thought.

"Just a grilled cheese, please. If it's okay."

"No peanut butter?"

Smurf opened her mouth to answer, but then stopped herself. She turned her eyes towards me and caught me smirking knowingly at her. "Dumbass."

I chuckled quietly, but then got to work on the sandwiches. I made Smurf her cheese sandwich while Elana got one with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and ham. She needed all those vitamins, because God only knew what Eli had fed her while I had been away. Eli...

Here you go, I signed and plated Elana's sandwich, before doing the same with Smurf's. Let's go eat in the living room with the nice smurf lady. Come on!

Elana excitedly jumped down off the counter and followed me into the living room where Smurf looked up when we sat down beside her, Elana crawling up on my lap. I handed Smurf her sandwich, which she took with a little blush when I deliberately brushed my fingers against hers. "Thanks."

"Hope you like it. Elana, eat nicely," I quickly signed when she started taking out the salad. You eat it all or you eat nothing. We don't waste food.

She gave me a grumpy look, but then started chewing moodily at the green slices of lettuce.

Good girl, I signed, grinning and kissing the top of her head.

From my side, I heard smurf bite into her cheesy sandwich and chew as well, my eyes automatically turning to watch her mouth work. I watched the way her tongue snuck out and licked off some crumbs, getting it all in there.

I wondered how her mouth would work wrapped around my—

Duuuude. You've got your sister in your lap. Get your mind out of the goddamn gutter and be a child of Jesus.

Quickly turning my eyes away and focusing on Elana who was trying to sneak the lettuce out of her sandwich again, I picked it up and stuffed it back in to her dismay – all the while silently listening to smurf swallowing a large bite.

God. Ever since the other day, I hadn't stopped thinking about her. She had been so tight, and the way she had so cutely put me in my place when I kissed her without her permission...

A feminist, but a submissive. If that wasn't wife material, then what honestly was?

None of us had spoken about the incidence since. Mia had come home about two hours later, and by then, the entire mood had changed. We had been so focused on working on freeing Eli, we hadn't had time to talk about... what happened.

Granted, I was the one who started it. Mostly it had been because we needed to kill time and I had been frustrated and needed to blow off some steam, but also because... she had just been too irresistible.

My eyes fell to her again now, unable to resist the temptation. Fuck it, I was going to hell anyway.

I remembered the way her small thighs had clenched around me when she had come right on top of me, panting against my neck and trembling like all of her nerves had been on fire. Her skin had been so soft, and her lips... God, kissing those studded lips...

Elana suddenly poked my chest, and quickly whipping my head towards her, I saw that she was signing to me. I'm thirsty.

Go get some water from the fridge, I signed to her, before letting her off my lap and watching her race to the refrigerator. Why was everything a race to kids that age? God, what I wouldn't give to slow down time these days...

"Hey," I said, nudging Smurf's arm when she had finished her sandwich and had gone back to typing.

"What?" She murmured distractedly. She bit into her lip as her eyes darted around her screen.

"I want you again," I said in a low voice, even though I knew Elana couldn't hear me. At my words, Smurf's hands froze and I think I saw her chest stop moving again.

"It was a one-time thing," She whispered back, just as Elana came racing back with a water bottle.

Before she returned, I quickly leaned into Smurf's ear and whispered quietly; "Are you sure about that?"

When I pulled back, I saw shivers and goosebumps skit across her skin. A pink flush tainted her cheeks as well, but the next moment, she cleared her throat as Elana jumped up into my lap again.

None of us spoke as I opened the water and let Elana have some large gulps, before taking the water bottle myself and taking a few sips. I noticed Smurf's eyes flicker towards me now, watching me as my throat bobbed.

She definitely wanted more as well.

Our eyes swiftly met, and I knew mine had undoubtedly darkened as she bit into her lip again. The pink stain on her cheeks told me we were thinking about the same thing.

Just as I was opening my mouth to speak, Elana suddenly wiggled again and jumped off my lap, running towards her Barbie box which she had left on the floor. My eyes clipped away from Smurf's, and she quickly averted her own back to her laptop.

"Forget about it," She finally said, her voice sounding hoarse and... so fucking aroused. "Don't you think we have more important things to focus on?"

We did. So then how come I couldn't stop thinking about having her beneath me in a bed, just driving into her until she orgasmed so hard, she couldn't breathe?

"We're still just waiting here," I pointed out, watching her clench her teeth.

"Is that all I am? A way to pass time?" She bit.

"No," I harshly said – too harshly. I quickly looked towards Elana out of reflex, even though I know she couldn't hear us. I nonetheless softened my voice. "No. You're not. Of course you're not."

"Then stop trying," She said, pressing her lips together.

I clenched my jaw, watching her give me the cold shoulder after that.

Did she really think I was just using her to pass time? Christ. Maybe it did seem like that from the outside, but that was only because she couldn't hear what had been going on in my thoughts for the past few days.

They had involved to everything from fucking her senseless, to laying in bed on early mornings, just cuddling and talking about food and binary code and the names of our future children. I imagined lying right behind her, just holding her and making her feel safe in my arms while she slept, knowing no beast, man or spec of dust was ever going to harm her while I was there.

My thoughts had gone way beyond what they should have, and maybe that's why I was trying to make this a faux pas, because out of all the things that were going on in my life, this couldn't become one of it.

After our parents died, I had sworn no other girl would come before Elana. That meant no relationships, no girlfriends, no meeting random hookups. Not even Eli's ladies. I didn't want her to ever feel like she was second to someone else. She had first rights to my love, and to me that meant nobody else could have it either.

It was just the two of us, against the world. And now Eli.

Who was still missing.

Sighing, I leaned over forward and rubbed my face before standing up. I walked over to Elana and quickly signed something to her before picking her up and walking her to our room – the room Mia had let us stay in since Eli went missing. I put Elana down in there and told her to play by herself for a while, before closing the door and walking back to Smurf.

"You're not just something to pass time with," I stated, seeing her eyes fly up from her screen. They widened at bit. "When I said I wanted you again, I meant I wanted you alone, on a bed, for hours, just the two of us. Not as a way of passing time, but as a way of... spending time."

Fuck, I didn't even know what I was saying. Usually I was good with words. That was the difference between me and Eli and why we somehow worked so well together. While he went apeshit and usually did all the violent caveman shit, I was the level one with a mouth that could always talk for miles on end until I was out of a tight situation. I had gotten that from dad. He was a great lawyer, and I guess I had inherited his talking-genes.

But right now talking to Smurf, I sounded like an absolute idiot.

"Look," I said, pushing out a breath when she still hadn't said a word, but just kept looking wide-eyed at me. I walked up at took a seat beside her again. "I'm not quite sure where I'm going with this, I just think... I mean, I know... I... like you."

Yup. That was it. That was the stupidest thing I'd ever said, because right now, my own brain was screaming and sending heat to my cheeks. My balls shrunk and sunk up inside my body again, and I had to clear my throat and look away when I was pretty sure the blush was showing on my face.

Yeah, you're such a big man. Blushing like a school girl while confession you like one. Go strap on a pair, would you?

"I... I think I like you, too," Smurf then silently whispered back.

My head jerked towards her and my mouth went slack. Did she just...? "Really?"

"I mean, I don't really know you," She sighed and let her shoulders drop down. "You're nice when you shut up, you're so sweet with your sister, you're a pretty decent hacker, and you know what you're doing in bed. Shut up," She said when my lips and ego got their mojo back and lifted up into a cocky smirk. I instantly wiped it off again when she glared at me. "But besides that, I don't know that much about you."

"That's why I'd like to get to know you... by spending some time with you," I said, carefully scooting a bit closer towards her. "You're a pretty decent hacker too and then there's the fact that you're ridiculously smart and sexy." To put it mildly. "Do you think... maybe... after all this..." Come on. Spit it out and don't fucking choke now, you puss. "I could take you on a date?"

Why the fuck was I so nervous? My palms were clammy and my throat felt like it was about to do another pubescent jump. I looked anxiously at Smurf, seeing her blush a little.

"Yeah," She replied, quickly looking away. "Maybe." I swore I saw her smile a little.

"Maybe," I said, smiling back like a stupid idiot. "Okay. Maybe."

"Maybe," She affirmed.

I grinned widely, because I could definitely work with a maybe. Maybe wasn't a no, but it could easily become a yes if I played my cards right over the next few days.

"I—"

Plink!

Both of us froze as Smurf's computer made a noise. We looked at each other, eyes wide, but then slowly both turned our heads.

A: Got it.

Something inside my chest exploded. He got it.

"Tell him to meet us so he can give it over," I rushed as Smurf jumped and quickly started typing. "Tell him I want to meet him, too."

Smurf nodded and swiftly typed down what I'd said. A few moments later came the reply.

A: I'll meet with Zoe this afternoon to deliver the drive. As for Caleb...

I held my breath while I watched him type.

A: When everything is done, I'll meet with you to discuss a future security plan for you and your friend. Deal?

"Why won't he meet with me now?" I pushed out a breath and furrowed my brows. "I don't understand."

"I'm sure he has his reasons," Smurf replied. "Right now we should just focus on getting this whole thing done. Right?"

But I still didn't like it. "So are you going to go meet him alone?"

"Yes?" Smurf questioned and lifted a brow. Yeah, I definitely didn't like that. "I told you, I've met him before, Caleb. He's not dangerous."

"Can you be sure of that?" I gnashed out. I didn't like it at all. This guy was powerful, and Smurf was... well, she knew how to break a dick, that I was certain of, but she was also just so tiny. I didn't like her going to see a strange man all by herself. "I want to come with you."

"You're not coming with me," She flatly stated and huffed out an annoyed breath. "I don't need to be protected. Even if he was dangerous, I can take care of myself."

"But—"

"No buts. I'm sending him a thumbs up and telling him you're fine with meeting him later. That's how it's going to be. The end."

I ground my teeth together and let myself slump back into the couch with an angry sound as Smurf typed her reply and then hit send. I really didn't like letting her go alone... but the real question was, why was I being so protective over her?

"Fine," I finally said, standing up and walking towards me and Elana's bedroom. "But then I better fucking get a date with you."

I didn't see it, but I swore I felt her smirk as I stepped into our bedroom and joined Elana for some more doll play.

We were going to the motherfucking beach now.

~~~
"Smurf, what are we doing here?"
I sighed deeply as she dragged me into her school – the same school I had destroyed; The Alexandrettia.
It had been three days since everything went down. Eli was free, but sadly... he hadn't been able to cope. Mia had been devastated, just crying and crying, and even Elana had lost her smile when she had asked where Eli was and I couldn't tell her the truth. He had left us.
As we stepped through the doors to the school now, the only thing that was left to remind us of him was the graffiti I had splattered on the walls which he had been cleaning up. I felt a hollow sensation in my stomach and lowered my gaze. "Smurf..."
"Just come on," She kept hold on my arm as she pulled me down the hall, past students who stared after me as I walked through their white hall with my dirty sneakers and ripped pants. I didn't fit in here at all.
"I don't want to be here," I said, keeping my head down when one of the teachers glared after me, too. Jesus Christ, I couldn't imagine how it must've been for Eli, being here every day. Then again, he had probably stared back with his creepy laser gaze.
"This won't take long, just follow me," Smurf said, a little coy smile on her lip for some reason. I frowned at that.
We passed several classrooms until we made it to the far end of the school which seemed a lot more deserted. Suddenly we were alone, and I think I had finally caught on.
"If you wanted to fuck in a public place, all you had to do was ask," I grinned and now deftly pulled Smurf towards me, just as she stopped by a door. She widened her eyes when I leaned down and pressed my lips to her ear. "You know I'm always on for that."
"Oh, my God. You have such a one-tracked mind."
I did. It was her, her, her, her, her, her and her. And then her. "So that's not why you brought me here?"
She chuckled, but then shook her head and reached for the doorknob of the classroom we were standing in front of. Opening it, she then walked in, dragging me with her.
I looked around at what appeared to be an open art studio. Canvases and jars of paintbrushes were against one wall while a few tubes of paint laid on some small tables around the room. Easels were scattered all around with both finished and half-finished paintings. I frowned and looked around for a clue. "Uh... what are we doing here, Smurf?"
I heard a giggle behind me, and just as I turned around, I found Smurf backing quickly out of the room and closing the door. My eyes widened when I heard the door lock. "Smurf! What the hell?"
I stalked back to the door and started slamming against it, yelling her name. "Come on, Smurf! You know I'll just pick the lock! I did it once here and I'll do it again!"
"I'd really prefer if you didn't."
Swinging around, my mouth dropped as someone suddenly walked out from behind one of the many easels – an easel with a portrait on I couldn't believe I had spotted sooner. The figure drawn on there was a figure even I couldn't forget, mainly because it was the upper body of my best friend, but also because even to me, that ink job was severe.
– But that wasn't what had me gaping and nearly crapping my pants.
A low chuckle sounded as I reached for the door handle, not to fall over. This wasn't happening... God was putting the Karma on me.
"Mr Montrell – so nice to finally meet in person," He smiled, slowly.
I couldn't believe it.
It was him.
