Stay safe and by safe I hope you know what I mean.

"I can't believe she lied to me."

"I can't believe she lied to me too."

"I can't believe she didn't even care to lie to me" I heard Evan's voice.

"Why would she tell you anything?"

"Because I am her friend."

Alex scoffed, he really didn't seem to like Evan. "Just a friend. I am her boyfriend."

"And she lied to you." Evan taunted.

"Why are you even here?"

"Because I can be."

"Get out, this is my house." Alex's voice stiffened.

"No, Myra is my friend. So I'll stay until she wakes up." Evan said with conviction.

"You are so annoying."

"You are so stupid."

"You are stupider."

"You are annoyinger."

"Just shut up."

"You shut up."

"Don't tell me what to do."

"I-" Evan started to retort just as I groaned.

"Both of you shut up." I muttered, my eyes still closed.

There was something ridiculously funny yet irritating about a soon-to-be lawyer and an IT billionaire fighting like kindergarten kids.

"Myra!"

"You are awake."

"Oh thank God!"

Three different gasps of relief went over the room and I instantly recognized them as Zivah, Alex and Evan.

"Still not dead I see."

Looks like Athena's here too.

I slowly opened my eyes to see three familiar faces hanging over my face I jolted back in shock. "What are you guys doing?" My voice croaked, staring at their worried faces.

One by one they backed away, Alex sat on the chair beside me while Evan stood next to him. Zivah was sitting on the empty space on my bed. And Athena was standing at the door, her left side leaning on the door and arms crossed as she stared at me.

I smiled at them, slowly sitting up and leaning my back on the pillow.

"You lied!" Zivah accused.

"Yes, I thought we had promised to not lie." Alex piped in, hurt clear in his voice.

I sighed, pressing my fingers to my forehead, wondering how I got here. "Did I faint?"

Zivah patted my arm. "Yes, the guards had to call Alex. What happened?"

The last thing I remembered was some guard calling me ma'am and me holding on to the stool as weakness and fatigue wrapped me in its arms.

"I don't know. I think it was exhaustion."

"No, I mean what happened with Ray." Zivah corrected.

"Yeah why would you go there?" Evan piped in, leaning towards me and keep a soothing hand on my blanket clad leg.

Alex stared at gesture, his eyes hardening. He slapped Evan's hand. "Don't touch her."

I opened my mouth to calm down Alex but Evan wasn't having any of it. He glared at Alex. "Hey you shouldn't have let her go. Don't you have a tracker on her phone yet?"

"Hey!" I opposed, shocked at where this conversation was going.

"Of course I do!" Alex answered Evan, completely ignoring me.

My jaw fell as I stared at Alex in incredulity. "What?" I hissed.

"Then use it. How are you a billionaire?"

Alex looked offended. "Get out. Myra is awake now."

Evan narrowed his eyes at Alex and then smirked. He leapt on the bed, quickly pulling me in for a hug and before Alex could burst in anger and kill him, he ran out of the door. "I'll call you Myra. Take care."

"I am going to kill him." Alex grumbled as he glared at Evan's retreating figure.

He then turned to look at me. "You need to take a bath now. Kill the germs."

I chuckled softly, shaking my head at the jealousy Alex portrayed and the indifference to it Evan sported. "It's fine Alex." I said. "Also I am sorry for lying. I needed to see him. I had a few questions I needed answers to."

"Did you get them?" Alex questioned.

I sighed in loss, remembering the answers I had got from Ray. They were definitely not what I expected. But at least now the guilt I had been carrying around had disappeared. Now I knew that Ray Parker deserved to rot in jail.

"I did, I didn't like the answers but I got them. So I am better now. At peace." I replied to Alex.

"Good." Alex sat back down taking my hand in between his palms and holding it lightly.

I smiled at him, feeling grateful that this man stuck beside me despite my twisted brain and many flaws.

"We'll leave now that you are fine." Zivah stood up, smiling at both of us.

She leaned and hugged me tight. "Don't you lie to me again. I will kill you." She whispered in my ear so that only I could hear. "Oh and also I brought you some new sexy lingerie. Knock yourself out."

I leaned back from the hug to stare at her in skepticism. "What?" I hissed just above a whisper.

Zivah just winked at me. "Stay safe and by safe I hope you know what I mean."

Before I could throw a pillow at her, Zivah ran out of the room, her loud cackling laughter following her.

"Stupid woman." I grumbled to myself, keeping the pillow back on the bed.

Athena was still leaning at the door. She nodded when I looked at her. "I don't think you are dying anytime soon."

I grinned cheekily at her. "Not before you."

Athena smiled back, a rare sight. "Don't faint again. Boost your immune system too." She glanced at the white bag lying on the bedside table. "Drink that daily."

I followed her gaze wondering what it was. "Thank you Athena."

"Bye then." she nodded at me and Alex. "Mr. Bianchi." She followed Zivah out of the house. I heard the door click shut and leaned back on the pillow.

After a few seconds Alex asked. "Why did he do it?"

I had told Alex everything back when I was confessing how I knew Julia. I had told him of what Ray Parker had done and why Julia did what she did.

Alex was furious would be understatement.

He broke two vases and punched the wall at least ten times, all the while screaming in torment.

And of course he threw his phone at the wall and broke into two. Again.

It was a sight I never wished to see again. Seriously how many phones had he broken till now?

I didn't know how to control him or how to stop him so all I could do was watch him remove the frustration and anguish from his body. Eventually he collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily.

So now watching his face at peace I wondered if I should be the one delivering such horridly shocking news again.

But he was right, we had promised to not lie anymore.

So I answered his question. "He said he was young and reckless." After a pause I added. "And bored."

I couldn't figure out the emotions playing on Alex's face they changed too fast. But he finally settled on anger.

"That sick son of a bitch." He swore, his hands formed fists and I could see him holding on to that thin thread of restraint. "I want to kill him."

"You and me both." I whispered.

Alex stood up, breathing heavily as he paced the room trying to calm himself down. When walking a few times didn't help he punched the wall with a scream that made me jump out of my skin.

I crawled at the end of the bed. "Alex. Don't break your phone again." I said, trying to get his attention. But his head was leaning on the wall and his shoulders were shaking. I was afraid he was crying. I was afraid he was going to throw he phone again.

"Alex." I called again. "Please."

He slowly turned back to face me and his eyes hung in defeat. "Young? Reckless? Bored? What excuses are these?"

"He is mentally sick." I told him, patting the empty space on bed next to me. "Come here."

Alex didn't move for a while. He just stared at the floor. I waited patiently not repeating myself.

After a few minutes, he moved sluggishly, falling next to me.

I told his hands in mine. "He is in jail now. It's fine."

Alex swallowed. "I keep thinking if Julia was the only one."

I would be lying if that thought hadn't crossed my mind. Especially when he claimed to have hacked my phone too. "I couldn't find anything." I said, remembering the years I spent trying to find a single thread of evidence of him hacking Julia's phone. "Which is why I had to hack something myself."

Alex looked at me. "I don't think I have ever said this but thank you."

I blinked at him. "What?"

His fingers entangled in mine. "Thank you for making him go to jail. He is too smart to go away for a crime he did. And too inhumane to live in a world with us."

I smiled softly, staring at our joined fingers. "I know. In the years that I got to know him I understood one thing for sure – he is incredibly smart. So it was very difficult to place the evidence around him." I looked up at Alex's face. "But I am smarter."

Alex smiled back, the first real smile today and I felt bliss cover me up. "Yes you are."

He slowly leaned closer to my face, resting his forehead on mine. I stared at his thick eyelashes wondering how a man's eyelashes could be so thick. Did he use some special oil?

"I was worried when the prison called me." he whispered, I could feel his breath.

"I know. I thought if I told you, you wouldn't let me go." I answered, breathing in his strong scent of wood and vanilla.

"Hmm. Hacker Girl." Alex looked into my eyes and I could see the blue black streaks in his eyes. I felt like I was drowning in them.

"Rick Boy." I said back.

His face neared me and unconsciously my eyes dropped close just as his lips landed on mine. This was a feeling I still hadn't got used to but loved every moment of it.

The kiss was soft, tender, almost like the breeze brushed past me, taking my soul with it and leaving behind a beating heart.

An emotion I can't quite explain but a memory I can cherish forever. His lips stayed on mine for what felt like eternity and I didn't complain. I loved every single moment of it. Even as his lips slowly moved against mine, not hungry yet satisfied. I could feel him pouring his emotions on me and I drank them in greedily.

I didn't want to part away, I wanted to continue feeling the sensation. So even after Alex leaned away, my eyes remained closed. As I swam in the ocean of bliss his touch and kisses got me.

And if I were to pick my favorite kiss I would choose the soft tender ones against the intense steamy ones. Because while the steamy kisses have desire and pleasure, the soft kisses make me feel safe, make me smile, make me fall in love. All over again.

So tell me should I kill someone at the end? If yes, who?
