|5| Ticking Until the Clock Breaks

Yes, communicators connect the multiverse-
Limited Life Headcannon: If players are in another server (Impulse, Cleo, etc.) their bodies don't wither. Instead a shell forms. This shell is an exact copy but is hollow and when touched will crumble away. Players of multiple servers will respawn in spectator mode and then can freely leave to join other worlds.
TW: Mention of Injury, Body Horror, Mass Injury, Detailed Gore,

Martyn felt power course through him as the final number turned to zero. Then he felt hollow, empty. As the adrenaline drained he looked around; his friends and allies, all lay withered. Their bodies not being able to stand the loss of time and slowly chipping away.

He looked up and, no, she wasn't supposed to be here...she was dead. She had to be!

A smile that seemed to crack her face in half, formed on her face. "Hello, Martyn," she said "Long time no see." he took a step back, and then another.

'No, no-I,'
His thoughts were cut short when a shout pierced the air. "How do run so fast- oh, hi Martyn!" Cleo called out, a angry smile on her face. Their eyes gave everything away though. She (Pearl) was watching, "Always Watching" Pearl could see it. The hidden doubt, concern, confusion. She could see it all. But when the ground beneath her feet began to shift, shake, and tear apart like paper, she wasn't prepared. A hand grabbed her ankle and Pearl pulled out her axe and chopped it clean off.

A scream came from Impulse as he cradled his blood-oozing stump. After resurfacing he turned to Cleo who nodded and sat down a bed. Impulse quickly set his spawn when Cleo fired an arrow through his heart. The hand and Impulse respawned, hand now attached back, and looked at Pearl.

[ImpulseSV ran out of time]

Martyn stood there, unsure if he really saw what just happened. Pearl looked wildly between the three people before swinging her axe toward Impulse again. Cleo, who had grabbed potions before they left, splashed swiftness in herself before running and pinning Pearl to a tree. Pearl hissed and clawed at Cleo's hand before an arrow pierced her skull. Lightning rained down and struck the tree, causing fire to erupt.

Three 'beeps' echoed as the messages popped up.

[PearlescentMoon ran out of time]
[Respawn mechanism Failed, teleporting User:pearlescentmoon: to nearest bed]
[Command Successful]

All eyes watched as Pearl poofed back onto the bed. Bloody cloak and scar gone, and now blue moth antennas sprouted through her hair. Everything was silent until one voice spoke up.

"I didn't want to die. Why did you make me die?"

A stunned silence took over the hermits. They knew that voice very well.
