Two weeks before Mother Day Evan becomes depressed. The guys notice and try to figure out what's wrong to no avail. A week later (a week before Mother's Day) , Evan has a nightmare which triggers a panic attack. Delirious calms him down and find out that his mother is dead

Alternative: Instead of having a panic attack after a nightmare, Evan has one when he is playing a session with the guys because in the game the mom dies.

               Note: I like to think that as soon as the panic attack starts, Delirious kicks everyone out of the call except for him and Evan immediately.

Sidenote: Originally when I thought of this idea I had thought of an ending where the mother was watching all of that from heaven.
