THE MALE TAKES OFF HIS MASK, REVEALING A EAR TO EAR GRIN, HIS CLOWN MAKEUP SEMI-SMEARED

BATOWL STEPS UP BESIDE HIM

A SHORT MAN IN A MONKEY MASK STEPS UP TO HIS TWO OTHER FRIENDS

(jumpingly)
So, what’s the pairs for tonight’s patrolling?

BATOWL LOOKS AROUND AT HIS FRIENDS HE POINTS WITH EACH NAME HE STATES

(sternly)
Early Bird with The Terminator, Mega Monkey with the Paper Bag Man, uhh, Tax Man with the piggy. So that leaves… Batcoon and I!

ALL THE GUYS LOOK AT THEIR OWL FRIEND KNOWING THAT SOMEHOW HIM AND BATCOON WERE GOING TO BE WITH EACH OTHER. THEY WERE THE BESTEST OF FRIENDS. MAYBE SOMETHING MORE.

THE GUYS SPLIT UP AND START THEIR PATROL. BATCOON FOLLOWS BEHIND BATOWL.

(perky)
So where are we going for tonight Vanoss?

BATCOON USES HIS FRIEND’S ACTUAL NAME, VANOSS TURNS TO LOOK AT HIM

BATOWL
(demandingly)
Maybe we’ll just patrol the streets in the bat car.

BATCOON NODS AT HIS FRIEND

THEY THEN HOP DOWN FROM THE BUILDING AND INTO THE CAR OF BATOWL’S

BATOWL
(softly)
We should drive around the pier tonight.

BATCOON
(sarcastically)
Yeah, let’s go. Maybe we could play some games.

THEY BOTH LAUGH TOGETHER AND THEN THE CAR BECOMES QUIET

AS VANOSS DRIVES HE TAKES OCCASIONAL GLANCES AT DELIRIOUS

THE STREETLIGHTS FLASH OVER HIS CLOWN FACE, MAKING HIS BLUE EYES SEEM BRIGHTER THAN THEY ALREADY ARE

DELIRIOUS THEN TURNS TO VANOSS AND HE JERKS HIS HEAD AWAY FROM HIM AND FOCUSES ON THE ROAD

SUDDENLY DELIRIOUS STIFFENS UP IN HIS SEAT, HE PUTS ON HIS MASK AND STARTS POINTING

BATCOON
(worriedly)
Vanoss! There’s someone robbing that convenience store!

SUDDENLY BATCOON JUMPS OUT OF THE MOVING CAR

BATOWL SLAMS ON THE BREAKS AND JUMPS OUT AS WELL

BATCOON IS ALREADY INSIDE THE STORE

THE SUSPECT IS AIMING HIS SHOTGUN AT THE CASHIER YELLING THREATENING THINGS AT THE POOR MAN

BATCOON STEPS IN BETWEEN THEM

BATCOON
(strictly)
Stop what you’re doing! Put the gun down!

WITHOUT HESITATION THE ROBBER SHOOTS BATCOON

THE RACCOON MASK LOOKS DOWN AT HIS BLEEDING WOUND

BEFORE HE CAN FALL SOMEONE CATCHES HIM; BATOWL!

HE DRAGS HIM BEHIND A SHELF QUICKLY AND TACKLES THE ROBBER

THE OWL IS ON TOP OF THE GUY, PUNCHING HIM NON-STOP

FINALLY THE POLICE SHOW UP AND TAKE AWAY THE CONVICT

BATOWL RUSHES OVER TO BATCOON AND GRABS HIS HAND

HE THEN SHOUTS AT THE COPS

BATOWL
(desperately)
We need a medic! Please!

BATCOON WEAKLY SMILES AT HIS HERO

HIS HAND IS WARM INSIDE VANOSS’S

AS THE TWO MASKS STARE AT EACH OTHER A WARM FEELING SINKS INTO BOTH BOTH OF THEM

BATCOON WINCES IN PAIN AND THEN STOPS WHEN HE NOTICES SOMETHING IN HIS FRIEND’S CHEST BEAMING RED

HE WEAKLY POINTS AT HIS CHEST

BATOWL LOOKS DOWN AND AS HE DOES, THE SAME GLOWING HAPPENS ON DELIRIOUS’S CHEST

IT IS THE SAME BEAMING RED COLOR

NEITHER ONE OF THE HEROES KNEW WHAT THIS MEANT

BUT THE LOS SANTOS POLICE DEPARTMENT KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS HAPPENING

BATCOON HAS THE SUDDEN URGE TO REACH TO BATOWL AND HAVE THEIR BLACK FABRIC COVERED HANDS TOUCH AND INTERTWINE

AS BATCOON REACHED THE GLOW BECAME STRONGER BETWEEN THE TWO

A FEW OF THE POLICE OUTSIDE STOP AND WATCH THE MAGIC HAPPEN

A DEPUTY AND HIS RECRUIT TALK ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING OUTSIDE

RECRUIT
(baffled)
What’s happening to them two?

DEPUTY
(reassuringly)
It’s what happens when two heroes imprint. These two seem to be made for each other. That’s why they’re glowing.

THE RECRUIT SMILES AT THE DEPUTY

It is. You know what the funniest thing about this is?

THE RECRUIT GIVES A WEIRD LOOK TO HIS DEPUTY

They don’t know they’re doing. For some reason none of the heroes in Los Santos know when they’re imprinting, or what the hell it is.

SUDDENLY THE RECRUIT SMACKS THE DEPUTY IN THE ARM AND POINTS TO THE INSIDE OF THE STORE

THE MASKS ARE TAKEN OFF OF THE HEROES AND THEIR LIPS CONNECT

MAGIC SEEMS TO HAPPEN AS DELIRIOUS PLACES HIS LIPS ONTO VANOSS’S

THE GLOW GETS EVEN LARGER AND BRIGHTER UNTIL THE COPS OUTSIDE CAN’T SEE THE TWO THROUGH THE GLOWING BALL OF LIGHT

BATOWL STAMMERS

(exasperated)
Did we just…?

BATCOON SMILES A SHY SMILE

(playfully)
I think we did.

THE TWO KISS AGAIN OBLIVIOUS TO THE BLEEDING HOLE ON BATCOON’S LOWER GUT

NOW IN THE HOSPITAL VANOSS SITS BESIDE DELIRIOUS AS HE SLEEPS SOUNDLY

THE TAN HAND SITS WITH THE PALLID HAND

THE GLOW WAS GONE BUT THE LOOK IN VANOSS’S BROWN EYES SHOWS HOW MUCH LOVE WAS STILL THERE

I thought this was a terrible first screen write; I left out a lot of details in my opinion, but that's what the actors and actresses are for.
