Cleo's POV

"Oh no" I say as I rush up to the water. Emma jumps in and starts to pull Lucas back up.

Bella and Rikki jump in to help. 

"Where's Lewis?" I ask. "He would have come".

"I don't know Cleo" Bella said.

"I'm going to look. You got him?" I asked.

"Yeah go ahead" Rikki said.

I start to run out of the cave and then I get to the jungle. 

"Lewis? "Lewis!!! "LEWIS!!" I call out. Where could he be. He definitely was here. His boat is here.

"Lewis?????!!!!!" I call out. That's when I see him lying only a few feet ahead of me. I run to him.

"Lewis! Get up Lewis. Please" I say trying not to cry.

That's when I see his eyes open.

"Lewis!" I cry out. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." he replied.

I knew he was lying. He looked terrible. "Can you get up?" I ask him.

He struggles but with a little help he gets up. We start to walk towards his boat.

Emma's POV

Rikki, Bella, and I get Lucas out of the pool. Rikki starts to dry him.

"What do we do?" Bella asked. 

Bella and I look at each other and then we look at Rikki. She shrugs.

"We have to get him to a doctor" Rikki says.

"Well duh, but how?" I ask.

"Let's see if we can carry him" Bella says. Rikki and I look at her.

"What we can at least try!" Bella says. We pick him up.

"Um where now? There is no way to get up and how are we going to swim with him?" I say.

"Good point" Rikki says and we carefully put him down.

"Wait.." I say. "The moon pool!"

"What about it?" Rikki says.

"It heals" I say. "We need to put him in the moon pool and make sure he doesn't drown".

"Ok. Here we go again" Bella says. We carefully put him in the water and I jump in. Then Bella and Rikki jump in.

"Ok now we wait and hope for the best" I say. *Sighs*. I really hope this works.

Cleo's POV

As we make our way to the boat, I say to Lewis

"Are you ok to stay here for a bit?"

"Yeah" Lewis says. I run to the ocean and start to head towards the under water entrance. Whne I get there I immediately see they are all in the water.

"Guys is anything working with Lucas?" I ask. I look at him and guess. "Oh".

"Did you find Lewis?" Bella asks.

"Yeah, I'm going to get him to a doctor" I say. I start to go under and head back to Lewis

Twenty Minutes Later

Emma's POV

"He's not getting up!" I cry out.

"Give it some more time" Rikki says. Even she looks doubtful. 

I start to lose faith. Then, I hear something and Lucas starts to move.

"Lucas?" Bella asks. "Are you alright?"

"Ye..Yeah" he says.

"Lucas! You almost died!" I said and without thinking I kissed him. Surprisingly, he kissed back.

"Will somebody get a bucket?" Rikki said. Bella rolled her eyes.

At The Cafe

Cleo's POV

I put my arm around Lewis. 

"Sooo...what happened exactly?" Bella asked.

"Well I remember you all turning around and your eyes were glazed. I called Lewis and then that is all I remember" I say. I look at Lewis.

"Yeah I was talking to you. Lucas just got to Cleo's house and then you just stopped talking and we heard four splashes. That's when I hung up and we both headed to Mako. When I got in the cave you pointed ta me and blasted me out of the volcano. And then I blacked out" Lewis explained. Then we all looked at Lucas.

"Yeah when that happened I knew I had to change it to morning but I guess I used a bit too much energy" Lucas said.

"More like way too much energy" Emma said.

"Ok so after that happened we remember seeing Lucas in the water" I said.

"And our whole search and rescue started" Rikki said. Everyone rolled their eyes.

Then the news turned on.

Lady on Tv

"Tonight there was a very short moon. The moon rose but then quickly set and it was afternoon. Scientists have been looking for answers, but none have come up. This strange event occured while the full moon was over the mysterious island, Mako. Scientists from all over are waiting to get permission to explore this mysterious island."

Emma's POV

"This isn't good. We can't have scientists be scrambling all over the island" I said.

"Maybe they won't let them" Cleo said. We all looked doubtful.

"We'll make sure no one finds the truth and reveals it to the whole world" Bella said.

We each were determined to stop anything from happening to Mako.
