the portal reopens within seconds: a heavy gravitational force pushing me out fast as I trip. face planting hard onto the front door mat rug. the same rug that was ruined during the fire. I was in the past; lex did it! now all I have to do is focus on my job. should be easier said then done. my job should be easy. I just have to warn the others. now if I was deangeline: where would I be?

most likely one hundred percent  Inside her room. where she does her studying, and practically everything else. 
quickly I head inside running up the stairs as I burst into deangelines room. there she was on her tablet in her bed. wearing her gaming headphones. shes here shes alive. shes okay: I have to warn her.

"dean we got to find the others! general 48 is going to bomb the mansion! "

dean looks up at me with the look of confusion on her face.
"mari didn't you go with becks and Arthur?"

"I'm not mari-
I mean I am mari
its complicated I'm future mari"

"future mari? what are you ranting about?"

"in the future you die. dean I'm trying to prevent that. please come with  me we can save you before its too late-"

dean stares at me a look of disbelief on my face. at first I thought she was thinking that this was some kind of joke. but she points at my arm. which is now fading white. 
"what the hell?!"

dean pulls out what looks to be one of her spell books. the book was old and worn out. its most likely got a explanation to why I'm fading. she reads off a paragraph from the second chapter. a wave of worry spreading through my veins as I listen in horror.

"according to my spell book messing with the past effects the future. meaning the longer you stay here: THE FASTER  YOU'LL FADE INTO THE PAST."

staring at my hand dean gets up. putting the book in her backpack as I follow her downstairs to the garden. there the boys were; sitting On the garden bench making out. me and dean stand there, just shocked to see Jake and Josh making out. 

"YOU TWO ARE DATING?"

Dean's voice causes the two of them to stop kissing instantly as  I stare at them with caution. where running out of time and right now this is no the time to bicker. Josh grabs Jake's hand pulling him close as he addresses Dean's outburst.

"I love Jake and nothing you or anyone can say to change my mind"
dean shrugs her shoulders with a grin.
"touche"

just that second, the ground begins to shake. smoke pouring out from the mansion....
