He made his 6th step when he heard footsteps behind him. He froze.

He knows it's dark but he's pretty sure there's a man behind him walking fast.

"Who was that?" –RM

"I didn't see his face because it's dark but I'm sure he's just a scared curious kid. I ran past him and he was frozen on his spot. He's not important right now. Tell me where exactly is V now."

"Well, yeah. I saw him enter the building right before you did."

"Location, RM."

I didn't hide the annoyance in my voice as I kept walking fast inside this ruined building.

"You're close, 50 meters approximately. Go straight then left. You'll see two ways after, go right and the straight. Hurry up, he's almost done."

I tried to remember the directions he gave me and ran faster.

I hate this shit but I need to find V first.

After 2 minutes of running, I found the place. Men groaning in pain on the floor. I searched for V in the dark and it's easy to find a blonde guy with a mask. He's currently punching the last man.

I can smell blood.

"V. That's enough."

I spoke and he stopped his actions.

He dropped the man with a loud thud before taking the stairs up without a word.

"Put your earpiece back, V."

I told him while following his steps.

He didn't move to fix his earpiece.

"V, fix your earpiece."

I stated darkly this time.

He stopped walking and slowly fixed his earpiece.

"V, don't lose control. Focus on the target."

RM reminded him.

He continued walking to the second floor without speaking and I just followed him.

The building is quite huge. It's harder to find the target, especially in the dark.

After a few more steps, we heard some cracking sounds and groans. Metal bars hitting the wall and breaking sounds of the bone.

We followed the sounds but stopped when RM spoke.

"He's escaping. He managed to get down on the ground floor. Irene's on his tail now.

I turned around and did my best not to trip while running back to the stairs. I didn't bother looking back at V. He'll find his own way down there.

"I'm still alive. I'm still lucky."

Jungkook breathes heavily after holding it in for who knows how long.

"Maybe he didn't see me. Good thing it's dark."

His heart's beating just started going back to its normal pace when suddenly a loud crashing sound erupted near him.

"Aaah!"

He wasn't able to control himself from screaming and ducking.

Panic started building up in his chest once again.

There's only one word left in his mind right now.

RUN!

And so he did run for his life, not caring for the sounds his steps made.

He can feel the hope when he saw a door slightly opened and the lights outside peak through it.

He aimed to run faster when something dark was thrown in front of him nearly knocking him off.

He stopped himself but didn't balance his feet making him stumble forward and face planted on something soft.

"Ouch!"

He whimpered while raising himself from the fall.

He stood up and steps backward only to step forward again after stepping on something behind him.

His breath hitched.

"No..."

These are....men.

His cold hands gripped his hoodie as he looked around.

He can't even swallow his saliva as his mind processes his surroundings.

"W-why are they l-lying on the floor? G-guys...y-you're not d-dead, right?"

He feels like crying imagining dozens of men around him lying and not moving at all.

Something clicked in his mind.

I'm not safe here!

He turned his head almost in a blink of an eye and stared at the door.

He gulped.

"Run."

He whispered and was about to run when he heard steps coming down from the stairs.

Anyone watching him might think he is an idiot for running away from the door and hiding around the corner while covering his mouth.

He only stayed there for a second when the door beside fell down with a crash.

His eyes widened when he saw a man and woman tackling each other.

He maybe is scared but he knows what to do.

Help the woman.

He wanted to move but his legs won't work with him.

"Aah!"

He heard the woman in pain.

He saw the man, so much bigger than the woman gripping the woman's long hair before kicking her in the stomach.

"DON'T!"

He shouted in an instinct when the man raised his hand to punch the girl on the floor.

Both heads turned to him and he used this opportunity to tackle the man down.

Irene looks at the boy in hoodies trying to keep the target on the floor.

He didn't last long though as the man dug his nails on the boy's wrist screaming in pain before tossing him on the corner hitting some weak tables. The boy lost his consciousness after hitting his head on the cold floor.

Irene stood up and ran to the man only to be thrown back after a strong kick in her stomach.

She coughed blood.

"Shit."

She cursed still holding her pained stomach.

"Don't take me that easily young woman."

The man spoke with a chuckle.

The man slowly approaches her but stopped when two shadows appeared.

He turned his head and furrowed his brows.

"You're not my men."

The target speaks.

"Obviously."

Suga answered eyeing him like a prey.

Suga started to walk towards the man but V beat him to that.

Suga stopped and watches V slowly walk to the target.

"What's with the mask? Oh, aren't you the 'V' everyone's talking about?"

The man laughs dryly.

V stared at him blankly.

Silence.

"Irene!"

Seulgi ran to the leader and helped her stand up.

"Get him!"

Irene instructed the other but Suga appeared in front of them.

"Thanks for the help but he is ours."

Suga smirks facing the ladies with an angered expression.

"Get away!"

Wendy waited for no response and started attacking Suga.

Joy and Yeri joined her and keeps attacking Suga.

"Man, you're so lucky to get three girls at a time."

RM laughs on the line while watching them on his monitor.

Suga keeps dodging and just defending himself, trying not to hit the girls.

"Fight back you, pussy!"

Joy continued attacking but only heard a chuckle from the other.

"Aren't you the one Sungjae dated?"

Suga smirks when he saw the madness in Joy's face.

"Shut the fuck up!"

Yeri followed, then Wendy.

Suga kept himself busy and made sure none from Red Velvet come close to the target or V.

V slowly unzipped his mask revealing his mouth, slowly opening and revealing his white teeth and a sickening smirk appears.

"The Target...or should I say...
