Originally, this was going to be for Grey's Tribute so here's what I had to say about that: Another werewolf one, but this is a different type. I'd say it's less accepted if the story hadn't had over a couple million views. I will say this: it's a story that's hard to swallow. The writing/description are good, the characters are good... so what's hard to swallow? It doesn't take place in the human world and you're immersed into another culture. If you read this book, while keeping that in mind, then you will enjoy Grey's Tribute. 

Now, here's what I have to say about Clayton (and why I changed the spotlight to this story instead): It's still in the werewolf world rmills75 [username now: Whiskeyqueenn] has created, but this story is just more. Honestly, it's better than Grey's Tribute, in my opinion, though I did enjoy that one too. The characters introduced are wonderfully imperfect. And, while I love insta-lust bonding/mates (you know when they see each other that's it--or at least how it should be), this author takes it for a ride and really shows that there is a difference between that supernatural mate bond vs. love. The best part is the authors presentation of 'choices'. We have them and we make them good or bad (even in a world where the moon chooses our fate).

If I had to give a comparison in regards to this author I'd say not as emotionally traumatizing as Donna Boyd because of rmills75 endings don't end in death (like DB's due--spoiler!), but it's up there. If you decide to read Clayton or Grey's Tribute, seriously understand that this is a different world where men rule with a heavy hand. In my opinion, the world, the characters, and the writing are more than worth the time though!

Grey's Tribute summary:

He was a wild animal cutting down anything that came in his path towards me.

His icy gaze paralyzed me, holding me hostage, all I could do is watch, I tried to will myself to walk away, to move, to take myself to safety.

I was firmly rooted, my heavy legs felt like anchors weighing me down, holding me in place.

His eyes were baptized in colours of light sliver and deep grey , the closer he came the more vibrant they became.

Grabbing the back of my neck he pulled my face towards him, his nose a fraction from mine. He looked at me in the eyes and made one thing perfectly clear "you're mine"
