7 Was that girl Khushi?

Part 7 Was that girl Khushi?

Arnav was shocked to the core seeing Shyam with a walking stick. No doubt, there could be many Shayms in Delhi. But... how could two Shyam with WALKING STICK be possible? An unknown restlessness was raised in Arnav's mind.

Anjali hugged Shyam emotionally. Arnav saw Shyam's face which was full of a smile. He loved Shyam so much next to his sister only because he loved his sister truly. He didn't know how to take it. he never doubted Shyam before. His behavior had never been suspected. Today, he got the doubt for the first time. Though he was not sure his heart was not ready to get consoled. He didn't know why he could not ignore his INSTINCT.

So what if he suspected Shyam? Being cautious was not going to harm him or his sister. It would create a problem only if he directly asked Shyam and his sister also would get hurt. So, he decided not to do it. From here on, he should be alert in Shyam's matter.

But, how could Shyam be related to Khushi? How did he know her? The much Arnav knew Shyam had no one for himself. Then, how could any chance for Shyam to have connectivity with Khushi who belonged to Lucknow?

He got stuck as something sparkled in his mind.

How did HE have the connectivity with Khushi who belonged to Lucknow?

When Arnav Singh Raizada was related to a girl who had no connectivity with him, why not Shyam? Didn't Anjali say Shyam went to Lucknow for a case? He might have met Khushi or Payal there.

Was he thinking unnecessarily? He closed his eyes irritatingly. Again, his instinct kicked his mind.

WHY DID SHYAM TAKE SO LONG TO REACH THE TEMPLE?

Arnav was agitated like hell as his instinct shouted against Shyam.

They reached RM. Arnav was watching only Shyam unusually. He used to admire his sister when she was with Shyam. Her face always would glitter with Shyam's presence but, today, he didn't know why he could move his eyes from him.

Shyam looked at Arnav and smiled.

"How are you, Sale Sahib?"

"I will be happy and you will be fine until my Di is happy" He said making everyone perplexed and Shyam shock. As usual, Shyam came to the composure and smiled.

"What's the matter Rani Sahiba, Sale Sahib seems tensed..."

"Then what? He must be upset with you for making his Di worried" Manorama said.

"What can I do, Sale Sahib? My job is like that. I should wait for the hearing... no choice"

"I saw a man in Laxmi Nagar who resembled YOU" he said keenly watching his face.

Shyam could not hold himself from getting shocked. He composed himself taking a very few seconds and smiled.

"Me? Sale Sahib... how could I be in Laxmi Nagar...? I was in Lucknow"

"When did I say you were in Laxmi Nagar? I said I saw a man who resembled you"

Anjali was looking at them not interrupting.

"I see... by the way, Sale Sahib, Rani Sahiba told me about Lavanya. How is she?" Shyam tried to change the topic.

"We broke up" Arnav said that made Shyam frown.

"Oh..." he looked at Anjali who nodded yes.

Arnav went to his room that alerted Shyam. Arnav had never been like that. He spent his time with Shyam whenever he was back to RM.

"He is upset as you reminded him of Lavanya" Anjali said sadly.

"Let it be, Anjali bitiya... however, wrong persons should be thrown out of our lives one day..."Nani said, making Shyam dumbfounded.

Arnav was pacing in his room thinking about Shyam and Khushi. What was his instinct warning him? Should he watch the girl? But how? She resigned her job...! How could he watch her? He had no idea.

The next Morning

Arnav came to downstairs. He heard a loud laughing sound from the kitchen. He saw Shyam serving hot jalabies to Raizadas that he prepared. He could not believe Shyam could be a wrong person. At the same time, he was scared. If he could not believe Shyam, what would be Anjali's condition if Shyam was wrong? Arnav wondered as he was not feeling bad for suspecting Shyam.

Shyam gave him a plate with jalabies. Arnav looked at him and then and the plate.

"Don't worry, Sale Sahib... this is sugar free jalabies. You can eat them"

"See, how concerned my Shyamji is..." Anjali said proudly.

Arnav so wanted to give her reply but without knowing anything clearly, he didn't want to say anything.

"I'm going to AR, Di"

"Whaaat? Today is Sunday, Chotte..."

"Some important work should be completed, Di"

Anjali pouted.

"I thought we will spend time together" Shyam said disappointedly.

"I will be happy if you spend your time with my Di" Arnav said.

"That's why I came leaving all my works behind" Shyam smiled.

"I'm leaving, Di"

Anjali nodded ok, smilingly.

Arnav left RM.

AR

Arnav reached AR and walked to his cabin while attending a call. He stopped, seeing DM idol that was on Khushi's table. Calling an office boy, he asked him to send it to Khushi's house.

He came to his seat and tried to concentrate on his work but he could not. His mind was thinking about the girl who was not ready to talk to him and ignored him.

Adding to it, Shyam was Also eating his brain...! How could he verify if Shyam was wrong? What if he asked Khushi about Shyam? But how? Where could he meet her? Would she tell him if he inquired about him? Maybe not... she was more arrogant than him, of course. She was not even ready to hear him. Then how could he even ask her anything? Something sparkled in his mind. What if he went to her house and asked her? Would it be the right decision? Arnav was weary. He leaned on his seat closing his eyes.

Suddenly, he felt something in his heart... no, not something but Khushi's presence. He could not ignore it. He was sure she was there in his office. His lips delivered her name unknowingly. He stood up robotically and went near the window.

Arnav was shocked to see Khushi in AR...not because she came to his office on Sunday. It's because his instinct about her presence was right. How could he feel her presence? He could not believe he could feel HER presence. But how? Why? What was the connection between him and her? Was she GOOD or BAD?

Khushi saw Arnav looking at him with a deep gaze. She stood up nervously not knowing what to do as she didn't expect the LARD GOVERNOR would be in the office on Sunday.

Though Arnav was confused he was happy to see her there because he got a chance to ask her about Shyam.

Khushi who came to take her DEVI MAIYA home asked the office boy about it that was not on her desk. As he said he kept it in the store room, Khushi got ready to go to the store room. She got stuck, hearing,

"Khushiiii"

She lifted her eyelashes high and saw the man who was the owner of the voice.

"Come to my cabin. I want to talk to you" Arnav said in the ASR's style.

Ignoring him as if, WHO ARE YOU TO ORDER ME? She walked with the office boy towards the storeroom, making Arnav furious.

How dare this girl ignore him? From where did she get such guts? That was his office. No one could ignore him. he would not be ignored. He followed her to the store room angrily.

Khushi was more irritated than Arnav. Could not he be sitting at home at least on Sunday too? Why he came to the office to trouble others even on Sundays? She wanted to leave the place as much as possible.

But, she didn't know it was not easy to leave the office because it was not in her hand. She was not in a position to decide her fate because it was already destined.

The man who permitted to RE-WRITE his destiny came to the store room with anger and saw her taking the idol from the top rack of the shelf.

"What do you think of yourself?" the question made her tremble and she slipped her balance. She fell and landed on the beanbags safely. Arnav who saw the slipping Devi Maiya idol, tried to catch it before it hit the ground and succeeded. But, as Arnav and Khushi didn't expect, he fell on Khushi. The moment he touched her, having the DM idol in his hand, he got a flash again. This time, he got a clear view of the girl. He was shocked to see Khushi who fell from the hilltop, shouting,

"ARNAVJIIII..."

He also shouted,

"KHUSHIIII..." in return.

Arnav was shockingly looking at her face without blinking not understanding anything.
