Ruhana meets Vineet at a director’s office. She is waiting for her turn to meet the director. Though, she could enter the cabin without prior permission, but Ruhana prefers to wait. Because in her work, her directors and producers are her boss and she prefers to work according to them.

She’s waiting in the waiting area, when her gaze falls on Vineet who comes out of the director’s office. As his eyes fall on Ruhana, he rushes towards her.

“You’re…Ruhana Oberoi, right?” He asks cheekily.

“Yes! “ Ruhana replies calmly.

“Wow! I didn’t know that I’ll get to meet you like this. You’re my idol. Literally and genuinely!  But!! I am glad that I’ll be singing something for you in the film.” He says innocently.

“Aww! That’s sweet, young man! I wish you all the best. “  Ruhana says softly.

“My name is Vineet– Vineet Shergill.”  He introduces himself.

“It’s a pleasure meeting you, Vineet. But, I gotta go! See you around.” Ruhana smiles and then heads to the director’s office.

Vineet watches her go and then he leaves the place. Whilst, Ruhana enters the director’s cabin to discuss the script of the movie. The director turns to her and then they begin discussing the project. He also tells that he has signed a new singer for this movie.

“Sir! Are you sure, he will be able to do it?” Ruhana asks the director.

“Yes Ruhana! He will do it. Tumhe toh pata hi hain meri aadat! Naye logon ke sath kaam karne ki.”  the director smiles.

“Oh yes! And 100% aapke choices sahi hote hain.” Ruhana smiles, praising the skills of the director.

“Oh yes! Just like you. Is film ke liye aap meri choice hain.” He smiles.

“Yes!  So when ar eyou planning to start the shoot?”  Ruhana questions him.

“Next month! I hope you’d be free!”  he asks,, taking her consent.

“ Yeah! I hope i’ll be wrapping up the current shoot. See you soon!” Ruhana smiles and then takes her leave.

*Flashback Ends*

Ruhana comes back out of her trance of her first meeting with him. The day when he was sweet, innocent and he kind of adored her, or maybe liked her secretly. The only difference between them is that Ruhana has earned everything very quickly in 6 years while Vineet is just a beginner.

Well, success doesn’t come quick. Ruhana has worked hard, but also made a way for herself in the glam industry. The short encounter with Vineet only made her smile. She liked the guy. But, over time, things changed, and the reality is different. Ruhana touches her belly and looks at her reflection in the mirror.

She’s changed a lot in the last one month. There are dark circles around her eyes and she looks tired. She is hurt, hurt by the man she loved with all her heart. Her trance is broken with a familiar voice. It’s Barkha, her friend.

“What is this, Ruhana? What are you upto? You took the appointment from the doctor, right?” Barkha asks, concerned for her friend.

“Yeah! But, I don’t feel like going.”  Ruhana says lowly and sits on the couch.

“You’re hurting yourself, Ruhana. Jis insaan ko tumhari kadr nahi rahi, uske liye tum apni zindagi kyun barbaad kar rahi ho?”  Barkha asks.

“ Becaue I love him!”  Ruhana says, emphasizing each and every word.

“What!!! I mean, he has left you and you still love him? It’s total crap! Don’t waste your life for him. Usey apni success zyaada pyaari hain.”  Barkha says, she hates Vineet for what he did with Ruhana,.

“Galti Vineet ki hain toh main mere bache ko saza kyun doon!”  Ruhana says while looking at her friend.

“Ruhana! Are you out of your mind? That will risk you your career!”  Barkha shouts.

“ Risks is what life is all about, Barkha. Aur kisne kaha ki main sab kuch chod rahi hoon. Main bas break lungi. Mujhe kisi ka darr nahi hain. Aur aajkal bacha hone ke liye shaadi ki zaroorat kahan hain? Kayi log bacha hone ke baad bhi alag ho jaate hain. Main isey ek aisa hi case maanti hoon.”  Ruhana says firmly.

“ But Ruu…..” Barkha wants to say something but Ruhana cuts her.

“ No if and buts, Barkha! I have decided. I am going to give birth to this child.  I was already thinking about the break after this latest movie. I’ll take a break and will travel for little while. And will come back soon.”  Ruhana says confidently.

“Are you sure? I mean do you really want to do it?”  Barkha asks, concerned for her friend cum sister.

“ Yes Barkha!  Wo chahe bhul gaya ho ya shayad usne arsh tak pahunchne ke liye mera istemal kiya hai, lekin maine toh usse pyar kiya tha, sachcha pyaar. And I am sure, ek din usey ye kami zaroor khalegi.”  Ruhana says, tears well up in her eyes and Barkha pulls her in a soothing hug.

In the other part of the city, there’s a big bungalow, nameplated, Shergill House. The lavish bungalow is decorated elegnatly from the outside but insides of the house are a mess. Everything is misplaced in the living room while some muffled voices are heard from the bedroom.

These voices are nothing but the moans of a guy and girl who are engrossed in love making inside the room. It seems like there is nothing else between the two of them. They are just pleasuring each other and that's the only relation that they share. The girl moans his name huskily and  he looks at her. He's done with her and he breaks apart from her. He throws a bundle of money towards the lady and asks her to leave.

He's Vineet Shergill. The man who charmed Ruhana once. The lady loved him with all his heart and here, he is trying to get sexual pleasure for just a mere amount of money.

He's a famous singer and actor,and he has got all the love and position with Ruhana's help. But, he has pushed her out of his life for the greed of money and social status. But he is unaffected of all that he's doing.

He moves into the washroom to get ready for the day.

A big day has begun for him.
