“You don’t even know him. Why do you want to put your career at stake for him?” A lady asked another one, who’s standing with folded hands around her chest.

“He’s an amazing actor and a singer. What’s wrong in helping him?” Another lady asks.

“He’s just a beginner. And you’re someone whom people look upon. You’re a role model for many. You’re going to introduce him to the  producer and director of the film?” The first lady asks again.

“Yes! If we can help then why shouldn’t we?”  Another lady asks.

“Fine! Do whatever you feel like doing. But I am telling you that this may be a wrong decision on your part. You barely know him.” Her friend says.

“Even you didn’t know me, Barkha. Neither did Anand Sir. But you guys put your trust in me. I am doing the same with him.” She says and moves into her room while the other girl just sighs.

She is a tall, fair beauty. Her hair is long and wavy, and her kajal-clad eyes are refining her beauty. Her face is long, her lips are small, pinned in a small line. She’s Ruhana Oberai, a well-known television and movie actress. She’s known for playing all kinds of roles and she’s an inspiration to young people.

The other girl is Barkha Saxena, who’s another actress and Ruhana’s first friend in this glam industry. Ruhana wants to help young talent and Barkha finds it weird. It’s weird not because Ruhana is supporting a new guy, but because Barkha feels that it may not be a good decision. Her gut feeling is that the guy is not worth all the help.

Ruhana’s eyes turn teary as she remembers her friends’ words. She’s already in shock with the kind of words he used for her.

He has left her alone as an answer to her goodness. She has loved him but he left her. The last conversation with him still brings tears to her eyes. It’s been one month since he left her but she can’t forget him How would she forget him?

She is pregnant. Pregnant with his child.

She loved him after all. He loved her too, she feels.

The fame, the money and the glitter sweep him away from her. He’s so much hungry for fame, stardom and lavish life that he forgot her. He left her for all the things that may vanish someday.

Ruhana is hurt with him. The love of her life. Her Vineet!

They were planning to marry soon but he ditched her before that. Sometime later, Ruhana learnt that she is pregnant with his child. Ruhana sighs deeply, remembering the first day when she met Vineet.

*Flashback Begins*

It’s the time when Ruhana has finished shooting for her movie. She’s busy with promotions. It’s a Sunday and she has a meeting with the director of her movie. She reaches the office and the manager takes her into the waiting room. Since the director called her, she has to wait minimally. That’s when she met Vineet.

While waiting for the call and talking with other fellow colleagues, she finds him coming out of the Director’s office. It seems like he had grabbed an opportunity. As their eyes meet, Vineet is astonished to see Ruhana. He walks up to her and says something that leaves Ruhana touched and astonished.
