"Mami ji ! Manik kahan hai ? Mughe der ho rahi hai college k liye!"I was almost on the verge of crying , ofcourse it suits a nerdy, right ?

Well  Mami ji is Maniks mom who is now busy with my mom , making the breakfast for us and I just broke out from my room ,hell ready to go to the college.

"Nandani bacha tum hi jake dekho kia kar raha hai ye larka .Pta nhi kab bara hoga ? Hey bhagwaan koi achi kudi mila do mere munde nu!"Mami ji prayed while making the parathas but her words made me blush a little.

"Nandani ja ab tughe der nhi ho rahi kia ?" My mom came and held my ear.

"Ahhh !Maa ja rahi hn.Aap kabhi Manik ko tou nhi dant-te late uthne par,phir mughe kyon?" I whined like a kid and maa twisted my ear more tightly.

"Tou wo teri tarah ghar pe masti nhi karta . He works at office."Sometimes I wonder like is she my mother or Maniks.

"Anjali choro meri beti ko.Jaa Nandani utha k laa uss bewaqoof ko!"I kissed Mami ji's cheeks happily as she freed my ear from my mother's grip and ran towards the Maniks room.

Only half an hour is left ! Damn you Manik Malhotra if I missed my college today ! I will make you miss from this world forever !

I gritted my teeth and entered his room.

Ok his bed was messy but he was missing.

Suddenly I heard "Aaj blue hai pani pani ...pani pani aur din bhi sunny sunny...!"

Arghhhh ! How could a boy bath this much ! Yeah he takes almost an hour for his early morning bath !

Suddenly an idea hit my mind and I  switched off the red water heater switch which was just beside the light switch of the washroom.

"N.A.N.D.A.N.I !" See he yelled the correct name and a smile embellished my lips.

"Nandani I'm warning you ! Switch on the heater or else I won't leave you ! Yaar mein thande pani se kese nahaon! " First he threatened me and then his tone turned childish making me fall for him all over again.

Hayeee!

"Nandani ! " He shouted with his all might and I giggled silently.

"Mughe pta hai k tum bahir ho.Ab agar tum heater nhi khol rahi tou mein bhi bahir nhi aaonga.Phir tumhe college kon chorega. Haan ?" I know he must be smirking. Yeah he used to drop me to college everyday and then goes to office from there only.

I was thinking how to tackle him when suddenly the washroom door got opened and he pulled me in.

"Manik !" I yelled with irritation as he pushed me in the cold shower,drenching my new baby pink thigh skirt.

"Hahahaha!  Kia hua gol gappi?  Maza aya na !" He laughed and I looked at him angrily but averted my eyes as soon as I saw him semi-naked,just wrapped in a towel.

"Manik ! Tum mein sharam naam ki koi cheez hai ?" I yelled angrily with my closed eyes and threw a shampoo bottle on his face which he dodged very easily.

"Tch...tch..! Hahahah...!" He laughed more loudly and I turned to close the shower.

Practically I was standing in his shower cabinet , beneath the closed shower all drenched and he the stupid was laughing while holding his stomach.

"Manik hato yahan se mughe bahir jana hai!" I wiped my tears which cascaded down from my closed eyes.

Again ! Again I missed my college just because of him.

I held the glass cabinet for support and tried to step ahead because I know this shameless creature infront of me won't bother to wear the clothes.

"Aye Nandani ro kyon rahi ho?" He asked and tried to hold my shoulders but I jerked him badly.

As I jerked him , he pulled me harshly by my waist and I gasped loudly.

"Tum apni ankhein khol sakti ho ,Maine kapre pehen liye hain."he said annoyingly as I was still struggling in his grip with closed eyes.

"Leave me Manik ! Just because of you I  missed  my college today also !" I pushed his shoulders angrily amidst my tears . Suddenly he left my waist and bursted into laughters.

"Tou tum isliye ro rahi thi k tumhara college ...." Again without completing his words he laughed and that made me cry more.

Without uttering a word I ran out of his room.

"Arey gol-gappi bare bare shehron mein choti choti baatein hoti rehti hain! Take a chill pill !" He yelled from behind but without answering him I ran upstairs towards my room.

We live in the same mansion. It's just that Manik with Mama ji and Mami ji lives downstairs on the ground floor while me , my mother and Shraddha di lives in rooms on 1st  floor.

"Nandani  darwaza kholiye ! Dekhiye hum apke k liye nashta le kar aye hain!" After changing my clothes and drying my hair with a hair dryer , I just sat in my room all gloomy when I heard Shraddha  di's concerned tone.

"Di ! I don't wanna have it !" I answered without opening the door as the tears which stopped few minutes ago, fell from my eyes again.

"Nandani are you crying ? Did Manik do something ? Aap hamein btaye hum abhi uski khabar lete hain."Shraddha di banged the door with her palm and finally I opened the door.

"Nandani !" Shraddha di gasped as she saw my face covered in tears.

I turned and sat on the bed while wiping my flowing nosy with a hanky.

Shraddha di kept the tray on the side table and sat beside me.

She tapped my right shoulder and I being an extra emotional hugged her immediately.

"Di ! Apka bhai bohot bura hai.Always he makes me cry .Just because of him I missed my important lectures. Now how will I cope up with the loss. Mein first kese aongi di!"I cried buckets while hugging di tightly.

See how much I'm serious towards my studies.

"Don't worry Nandani ! Aap dekhiye ga kese hum uske kaan khechte hain aaj!" Shraddha di broke the hug and wiped my tears lovingly.

But something shattered my heart .Manik ! he hasn't come yet to manofy me .He always do !

"Hmmm ! Have some breakfast  ! Phir hum dono mil kar uski pitayi karte hain ! OK ?" Shraddha di smiled at me and I smiled back and she started feeding me my early meal.

"Manik !" I shouted in fear as from nowhere he entered in the room , picked me up and directly kept me at the bookshelf.

"Manik ! Kia kar rahe hain aap ? Nandani gir jayengi! "Di slapped maniks head from behind and he laughed.

"Nhi di pehle ise bolo k ye mughse naraaz nhi ho!" Manik spoke in a shrugging tone and we both ladies gawked at him with unbelievable look.

"Listen Mr.Malhotra ! This time I'm very upset with you and I won't forgive you this easily!" I showed him my finger angrily.

"OK ! Keep sitting on this shelf ! Mein chla office !" He rolled his brown eyes and was just about to take a step when Di held his right ear tightly.

"Ahhh Di ! It's hurting !" He winced and I laughed to which he glared at me and I showed him my tongue.

"Utariye Nandani ko neeche aur sahi se unse maafi mangiye !" Di twisted his ear a little and uttered in a strict tone while I crossed my arms against my chest feeling like a queen.

"COME !" Manik almost shouted at me while forwarding his arms.

"Di !" I cried while looking at Di.

"Manik ! Behave !" Shraddha di scolded him again and I bit my lips to control my giggles seeing his annoyed face.

"Come Nandani !" He said in utmost honey tone but at last he pursed his lips tightly , giving me the hint of his anger.

I gladly forwarded my arms and he pulled me down  like a baby and finally my feet touched the floor.

His hands were resting on my waist and my were resting on his shoulders.

I wonder ! Do he loves me ?

His eyes are so confusing ! Like it seems that  he is trying to figure out what's happening with his heart.

We both were staring at each other when Shraddha di coughed and we parted away.

"D..Di I'm going to office and yeah miss Nandani  I'm sorry ! BOOKWORM !" He said in a sarcastic way and I glared at him angrily.

"MANIK ! jaiye aap yahan se !" Di sneered at him and he narrowed his eyes at me while I did the same.

We were about to enter in another banter  when maa  followed by Mama ji and Mami ji  entered in my room.

"Nobody is going anywhere today !"Mama ji announced and we looked at him being confused.

"But why dad I wanna go ! Have to crack an important deal !"

Here comes the workholic Manik Malhotra ! Dosro ka kaam khrab karke khud hero ban'ne chla hai.huhh!

"Oye chup kar ! Bara aya kaam karne wala ! Aaj meri beti ka roka hai aur tughe deal crack karni hai. Gadha kahin ka !"Mama ji uttered while looking at me with affection and silence spreaded across the room.

I was still comprehending Mama ji's  words when Manik came,picked me up and twirled me around .

His  words and a tear from my eye fell on his cheek.

"Arey gol-gappi finally mughe tughse azaadi mil gayi ! YAYIEE
