(John's pov)
I watched in horror as the Providence descended. Then the Zaku pilot yelled.

"Commander, he killed Keith! "

I flinched at the hatred I heard in his tone, but then I become shocked when I hear chuckling.

"Well, at least he did his job beforehand." said Le Crusei. I was shocked he would sacrifice his subordinate to his own gain. Apparently, the other Zaku pilot felt the same. I felt anger washing over me like a small flame turning into a blazing inferno.

"Why..."

The Providence then looks towards me, his dragoons ready to fire.

"Why? Well to bring out that suit you're piloting right now. ZAFT is in need of more strength. We shall rule this universe with an iron fist. (Pun intended)

That made my anger blow. I pushed the Sora Ventus to maximum power towards the Providence, beam tonfa ready. Just as I was about to cleave the Providence in half, I get hit by some beams from his released Dragoons.

"Ack!"

"So predictable. I was hoping for a greater challenge." replied Cruesei.
That made me even angrier. I decided to release my GN Fangs, which then tore through the Dragoons. All the pilot of the Providence did was chuckle.

"Now that's better." Crusei replied, clearly amused.

"You played those two as bait to draw me out. No person should be used as a sacrifice to simply keep you from getting your hands dirty. All I can do," I look over to the other Zaku, clearly sensing its pilot's sadness, "is avenge the pilot you sacrificed!" I then hear a gasp come from the pilot, clearly shocked from my speech. And I intended to keep my promise to the pilot that I would avenge his friend.

"Alright!" I flew back making distance between me and Rau. As I did so, I released all of my GN Fangs and commanded the others to form a circle in front of me. As they did, the GN particles started forming a light in the center of the Fangs. I raised my GN Beam Launcher, aiming into the center of the GN power gate.
"Hope you're ready to fall, Rau! GN Power Gate, Full-" I then fire into the gate. "Blast!" Once the beam entered the power gate, it got amplified and became blast that would put a charged particle cannon to shame.

As the blast died out, the Providence was nowhere to be seen.
"Did I do it?" I hoped, because I didn't have enough particles for another strife. However, it was short lived, because, as I turned around to go back to Highlander Gundam, the Sora Ventus gets rammed into the asteroid's crust, creating a new crater.

"My, my, my. If that's all you can do, I might as well just finish you." I hear Crusei say smugly. As I awaited that quick ending, eyes closed, I hear a crash of metal on metal. I look back, and notice the other Zaku tackled the Providence into the side of the fresh crater I made. The Zaku's head turns toward me, then I hear the pilots voice.
"Get outta here! I'll hold him off!
I just stared, but then I nodded. As I got to hovering in the air, I said one more thing to the pilot.
"I'll avenge your friend and you. I promise."
The Zaku nods, and I take off, releasing alot of particles to cover my tracks. As I got out of the asteroids atmosphere, I see an explosion on the surface.
I promise. No matter how large the obstacle, I'll defeat all who use people as tools, and help create a true world of peace.
